July 10th-

Scarlett was discharged from the hospital the previous day, and now they were packing up the hotel they barely stayed in to leave Baltimore, Maryland. Sadly, they weren't all going to the same place. Danny had to get back to New York for work while Jessica and Scarlett were taking a flight now to Minnesota to pick up Wyatt and spend some time with family.

They'd be gone for a week in Minnesota. Dorthy insisted that they stayed a little bit longer. Jessica didn't say no but she was dreading the trip. It had been six months since she last talked to her sisters. But right now was a very happy time for Jessica and her little family. Scarlett was doing much better and Jessica was pregnant. She didn't want anyone to bring down her happiness. Now that things weren't so complicated and overwhelming she wanted to fix things with her sisters. But there was a lot to resolve, lots of pieces to pick up, and things to catch up on.

"I really wish I could go out with you. I miss my little man. And, I want to be there when you tell everyone." He says putting his hands on her stomach

No one knew about the pregnancy yet. But Jessica was anxious to tell. At first she was extremely nervous. But, before they left John Hopkins they were able to see an OBGYN in the hospital who ran test and checked to make sure the baby was okay. And surely enough their baby was okay and was going to be okay.

"I can wait to tell them..."

"No, don't. I know it will eat you alive if you don't tell." He giggles

"You know me too well." She kisses his lips then looks down at all the bags waiting by the hotel door. Scarlett was in her stroller, wiped out. The hospital visit took a lot out of her so she was still recovering a bit from all the drugs.

"Life is so great... Everyone is healthy..."

"Kinda!" Jessica giggles

"Kinda, my beautiful fiancée is pregnant, and everyone is doing just fine."

"Fiancée? You haven't called me that in a while."

Danny clears his throat. "I'm going to marry you one day, baby."

When they arrive at the airport Danny helps Jessica and Scarlett find their gate. His plane didn't leave for another six hours, but he wanted to send them off and spend lots of time with them. This next week for Danny would be hectic. He had lots of work to catch up on. He hated being away from his family and leaving Jessica alone to travel with two toddlers, but she assured him she'd be okay.

"Give daddy so many kisses!" Danny says kneeling down and hugging Scarlett.

"You no come?" She asks

"No baby girl. Danny is going back home. You're going with mommy to see Wyatt!!"

"Wyatt!" She yells

"shhh princess, you have to have an inside voice." Danny chuckles

Jessica watches Danny with Scarlett and her heart melts. Seeing how great Danny is with his children just makes her even more excited for the future and the baby.

"Be a good girl for mommy."

"I will."

"You have all of her meds?" Danny asks

"Yep, right here!"

"Are you worried?" He asks

"A little... but I don't think she'll have anymore for a while. It's been a week of no shakes, right baby?"

"Yes! No shakes!"

"Haha, that's my string girl!" Danny says picking her up

"Flight 430 American Airlines, Baltimore-Washington to Duluth international is now boarding." A loud speaker announces

"That's us, babe. I'll call you when we land, Alright?"

"Okay, I love you both!"

A few hours later they land in Minnesota. When Scarlett found out she was going to be able to see her brother she was estatic and extra hyper. She couldn't wait. She had been so bored and lonely without him. Jessica was excited to see him too. She felt so bad leaving him behind, but it was best. Now they'd all be together again.

When they got their bags they saw Albert and Wyatt standing by the car outside. Wyatt was in Albert's arms waving her arms around hoping to spot his mom and Scarlett. Finally, he did.

"There! There! Down please!" He says

Albert waits to let him go until Jessica is close. She had all of her bags and Scarlett in her hands.

"Baby boy!" Jessica cries as she opens her arms

He runs into them and Jessica holds him tight. Albert walks over and helps with the bags and greets them.

"Welcome!" He says

"Hey dad!" She says hugging him

"Mom is at home making a big dinner to celebrate! So it's just be and the little guy."

"Wyatt, look who's here!" Jessica says

"Scar!" He yells

"Brother! Brother!" She yells even louder

"Oh how they missed each other..."

"They're glued to the hip." Albert chuckles

The car ride over was very loud filled with giggles on the way home. While the twins were all excited and having fun Jessica and her dad caught up. He was relieved just as much as everyone else that Scarlett was alright.

"It's a shame Danny had to go back to work so soon."  Albert says

"Yes, I know. He wishes he was able to come."

"Next time."

"For sure.... so mom is hosting a big celebration?" Jessica giggles

"You know her."

"Yeah... who's all coming?"

Albert clears his throat. "The Hustons, Sarah, George, and your sisters."

"Oh, okay."

"It will be good for you to all be together. I think it's time you all make up. Put the past behind you."

"I think so too. Before, I was so upset and going through so much. I couldn't handle their anger or my own towards them. But, I'm in a good place. I want everything to be okay with everyone."

"That's good... I'm happy things are alright now."

"Scarlett! Ahhh, the twinsies are together again!" Dorthy says running outside to see Jessica and Scarlett

"They can't get enough of each other." Jessica says

Dorthy runs up to Jessica and hugs her tightly. "I'm so happy everything's okay, no surgery!" Dorthy chokes up

"Aww mom, it's okay." Jessica says as her mother suddenly becomes very emotional

"I'm sorry! Let's go inside and get you two settled."

Until everyone came over Jessica spent lots of time with Wyatt who missed her dearly. She missed him just as much, maybe even more. They twins played a lot outside and inside. Now that seizures weren't exactly a huge worry anymore Jessica's wasn't as nervous to have her play around more. Wyatt ended up getting distracted with Scarlett so Jessica went into the kitchen and helped Albert with some of the dinner. Dorthy sat back and relaxed a bit.

"Dad, when did you start cooking such a variety of foods?" Jessica asks

"Ever since I retired from making everyone dinner, since I don't have to! Men can cook just as well as women. We're switching the roles around here."

"Go you, mom!" Jessica giggles

"Your mother got me a cook book for my birthday." Albert says

"Ha... well thank you guys so much for helping us out with Wyatt."

"Anytime. He had a blast here. We should make this a yearly thing. Now that the twins are a little bit older and aren't so dependent on you and danny-"

"Ahh don't say that. My babies will need me forever!" Jessica whines

Dorthy chuckles "as I was saying, they sound spend a few weeks out here in Minnesota with us!"

"That's a great idea." Jessica smiles

Then, Anne and Jane unexpectedly walk in through the kitchen door with their families. The room got quiet very suddenly.

"Hi..."
Jane mumbles

Something hit Jessica and immediately once she saw her sisters. All of the sadness and guilt overcame her. Seeing them after so long just made her break. And it made them break too.

In a blink of an eye they were all in each other's arms, crying. Everyone gave them some space.

"I missed you two... I'm so sorry." Jessica cries

"We missed you too." Ann says

They all break away from each other and see that everyone left the room. They chuckle a bit and wipe their tears.

"We're sorry too, Jess. The things we said, the way we reacted, we should have been more understanding and there for you." Jane says

"Yes we were shocked when you left, but, we get it... I'm sorry..."

"I hate thinking about that week. Because I'm so happy now. Scarlett's okay, everything is okay. Danny and I are great too."

"I need to hug you all again!" Jane cries

"That's the longest we've went without talking... I hated it."

"Let's just forget about it and move on. Okay?"

"Okay... Scarlett, she's okay?"

"Yes, she's wonderful..."

"And you?"

"I'm.... great." In that moment Jessica just wanted to catch them up on everything, but she couldn't and she didn't want to either. She just wanted to keep a few things to herself and be happy and stress free.

"Danny?"

"Great, working, but great."

"We're glad you're here, Jess."

"Me too."
