The next day Jessica was getting ready to go with her bridesmaids for the bachelorette party. They were going to be gone for the night so Jessica was packing up her things, getting ready to leave.

Danny and his groomsmen were going away when Jessica got back. But until then he was staying with the babies.

"Mama?" Scarlett says giving Jessica a puzzled look. She noticed that Jessica was leaving and she didn't really like it.

"Hi baby!" Jessica picks her up and spins her in the air. Scarlett starts to giggle then digs her head into the crook of Jessica's neck.

"Are you being a little cuddle bug this morning?" She says as she holds her daughter.

She nods cutely "no go, momma." She mumbles

"Oh sweet pea, I'll be home tomorrow!"

"Too Long!" She cries

Jessica chuckles "When you were just a little baby momma left for a night and you were just fine! Daddy will be here." She smiles

Scarlett starts to cry. She did this very often. As she grew older she became more of a mommas girl, sometimes she was resentful towards Danny. Especially when she wanted her mother. It broke Jessica's heart.

"Don't cry sweetie. You'll see me soon." She says

"Pwease?"

Jessica chuckles

Jessica was meeting all of her bridesmaids at Jane's house around ten. They were all leaving from there. Jessica wasn't really sure what they had planned but she was excited to see.

Before she left she said her goodbyes.

"You four better be smart and safe!" Dorthy says sternly

Jessica nods "don't worry, Mom. Everything will be fine." Jessica reassures her

"Go momma?" Wyatt says

Jessica had put Scarlett down for a nap before she left. Scarlett was worked up about her leaving so she didn't want her to have to see her go. Now, she had to tackle Wyatt.

"I'll be back, baby."

"Me play!" He says bouncing in the air

Jessica giggles with relief. "Okay, sweetie. You'll keep everyone company?"

"Yes!"

Jessica gives him a hug and kiss goodbye. He runs off and it was just Jessica and Danny.

"I love you, have a great time." He whispers into her ears.

"I love you too."

Ann drove Jessica, Sarah, and Jane to Minneapolis. It was a two hour drive. On the way there Jessica was able to loosen up a bit. She had been so out of wack these last few weeks. The passengers had a few drinks and they all blasted music and sang.

Jessica's bridesmaids surprised her with a huge hotel suite. The room was already decorated with all types of bachelorette party things. How they decorated ahead of time was over Jessica's head.

By time they had gotten to Minneapolis they walked around for a bit until they went back to the hotel to get ready for the night.

The day wasn't even close to over yet and Jessica was having too much fun. She had left her phone at the hotel room because she wanted to live in the moment.

Come night time they were all getting ready to leave. The four girls dressed in heals and cocktail dresses. Jane, Sarah, and Ann couldn't wait to take Jessica out. They had so many fun plans for her. All four of them were a bit tipsy already from having a few drinks here and there. It made it all the more fun.

"Jessica, you look so hot!" Ann says

Jessica does a small dance and chuckles. "You think so?

"You could probably find a second man if you wanted too!" Jane exclaims

"I haven't dressed this slutty since college." Jessica laughs

"We should get going. It's ten! Time to party!" Sarah says running into the bathroom.

They all cheer and grab a quick drink for the road.

"Oh Jessica, you can't forget your little crown and sash!" Ann puts on the little crown with a vail and Jane puts the sash that reads bride to be over her head.

They all head out to a bar and spend most of the night there. They did lots of dancing, drinking, and partying. Jessica was having the best night of her life. It felt like forever since she had partied this much.

Around five in the morning they got a taxi back to the hotel. They were too drunk to sleep. They just wanted to keep having fun.

The four of them sat on the couches in the suite drinking and talking.

"How does it feel to be getting married?" Ann asks as she sips more of her cocktail.

Jessica shrugs her shoulders "Pretty bad" Jessica slurs

They all widen their eyes "what! Why!" Jane chuckles

"I don't know. Should I marry Danny? I mean do I want to?"

"Of course!"

"But why? I love him... but... I don't know. Maybe I love the idea of him? I'm so fucked!" Jessica was obviously too drunk to know what she was saying, she'd never say these things to anyone.

Jessica kept going on. Everything that she was about to say would be forgotten, but a lot of what she felt deep down inside came out that night. A lot that she never thought she'd say.

They stayed up until sunrise then fell asleep around seven. They had been up all night and most of the morning. It wasn't until later that day that they began to wake up and start to recover from their hang overs. Everyone was exhausted and had terrible head aches. Ann made them all cups of coffee. The suite was pitch black. They were all so sick that even the littlest bit of sunlight hurt their eyes.

"Why did we drink so much? We are too old for this." Jane groans as she hides her head in the pillows.

"I don't think I've ever drank this much!"  Sarah mumbles

Jessica looks over at the night stand. She checks the time to see that it's already eight pm the next day. Jessica was suppose to be home by seven so Danny could leave for his bachelor party.

"Shit! I need to be back at moms!" Jessica says hoping out of bed. She turns on a light and they all hide their faces and yell at her.

"Jessica, what's going on?" Ann asks

"I need to find my phone!"

Jessica runs around the room until she finally finds her phone. She had eleven missed calls from Danny and her mother. She called Dorthy first.

"Mom, I'm so sorry! I'll get an Uber home right now."

Dorthy giggles "Don't be silly, Jessie. I know you're all hung over as hell. Danny just left about an hour ago. The babies are down for the night. It's all under control here." Dorthy reassures her

Jessica sighs with relief. "I've been sleeping all day and lost track of time."

"Don't worry... if you'd like stay an extra day. I don't mind having quality time with the babes."

"Thank you, mom."

Jessica decided that she wanted to get home tonight. Sarah, Jane, and Ann were staying an extra night to party some more but Jessica wasn't exactly up for it. She was so exhausted from the previous night and just wanted to see tHe babies.

Jessica called an Uber that night to head back to cloquet.

"Thank you guys for such an amazing time. It was for sure one to remember."

"Of course, Jessica! Are you sure you don't want to stay another night and party?" Ann says

Jessica shakes her head "I want to get home to the twins." Jessica says

"Alright. Well we will see you when we get back for more wedding plans!" Jane says

"Here Jess, I'll walk you outside. I'll meet you guys back up here in a sec." Sarah says grabbing her jacket.

Sarah and Jessica get in the elevator and Sarah gives Jessica a stern look.

"What?"

"I remember everything when I'm drunk." Sarah says crossing her arms

Jessica rolls her eyes. "Yes, I know that."

"And you let out all your feelings. I know drunk Jessica and you know drunk Sarah."

"What's your point?"

"Do you remember what you said about Danny last night?"

Jessica widens her eyes and her heart begins to race. "No, what did I say?"

Sarah sighs "Jessica, do you want to marry Danny?"

Jessica hesitates "I love him."

"That's not my question."

"Why are you doing this Sarah?"

Sarah shakes her head "Jessica, on your way back home I want you to think. I'm your best friend and I want what's best for you. I saying this to you because I want you to really think. I know you love Danny... but do you love him for the right reasons?"

Sarah went on telling Jessica about all the things she had said. Jessica didn't exactly believe she'd say these things, even though she has once felt them before. Yes Danny and Jessica have had their ups and downs, Sarah knew about it all. Jessica did have her doubts at times too. But never did Jessica think that Sarah would tell her to rethink marriage. Jessica was a bit offended that Sarah was saying this to her. Jessica kept telling herself that it was all pre-wedding jitters. Sarah kept going on making it seem like it wasn't. When Jessica felt like it may not just be her overthinking but more how she really feels, she became defensive and angry towards Sarah.

"No, don't do this. What I said last night I didn't mean. I didn't mean any of it. I love Danny, I want to marry him. Please, stop putting this nonsense into my head." Jessica grabs her bags and storms off when the elevator door opens.

Sarah chases after her. "I won't tell anyone, Jessica. I know those girls up there don't remember a thing but I do. What you said last night was real.... I know it was. I'm not trying to sabotage your wedding or relationship with Danny. I'm trying to look out for you and make sure you know that you're doing the right thing for the right reasons." Sarah says sincerely

Jessica stares at Sarah and sighs. "Stay out of it, Sarah. I'm marrying Danny, I love him." Jessica quickly walks away from Sarah leaving her alone in the lobby.

Sarah wanted to chase after Jessica again but she knew it was a lost cause. Sarah cared so deeply for her friend. She had noticed a change in Jessica over the last few weeks leading up to the wedding. She just wanted to make sure Jessica was doing the right thing for herself.

On the way back home Jessica kept trying to remember last night. It seemed nearly impossible. Jessica couldn't take her and Sarah's conversation out of her head that they had just had. In a way Sarah was right. She had a reason to question if Jessica was doing the right thing. Jessica wasn't like most brides at this stage of the game. She less happy and excited.

Suddenly, as she was thinking, something hit her. She had become so scared so suddenly. So many thoughts and emotions hit her that she began to do things without even thinking.

What if Sarah's right, what if I don't know what I want? I want to marry Danny, but I don't... I'm so confused and I know this isn't normal. None of this is. To be distant from your fiancé, always having second thoughts, and being so afraid. Jessica, get it through your head. This is more than pre-wedding jitters. This is real. Think Jessica, think. Is marrying Danny the right thing.

Then, something snapped.

"Excuse me, sir. Is there any way you can take me to the nearest airport?" She says to the Uber driver

"A change in routes?"

She nods "I'm sorry..."

"No worries. There is an airport not to far from here. Do you have a flight?" He asks happily

Jessica shakes her head. "I don't...I'm going to see what's available."

"A spontaneous trip, sounds risky!"

Jessica gives him a soft smile then leans back. Her body trembled with fear. She didn't know what she was doing. She was just doing it.
