January 25th-

"Let the chaos begin! Danny, we are getting married in a month.... a month, Danny!" She says

Danny chuckles and nods as he fills up his coffee cup. "Yes, I know... it's crazy, isn't it?"

"Very! I'm so excited, nervous, anxious! Ahh!" She giggles

"Nervous? Why would you be nervous?"

Jessica was quiet for a moment. As the wedding got closer and closer, of course Jessica was over the moon excited, but deep down her nerves were eating her alive. She couldn't help but be scared. Marriage, it's a big deal. In a way she was having doubts, but she convinced herself that it was normal and things would be okay.

She shrugs her shoulders and shakes it off. "Nervous things won't be perfect." She says giving him a fake smile.

He nods "Of course it will be perfect, it's going to be our wedding day." He walks over and gives her a kiss on her cheek.

She sighs as he walks away.

"Where are my little monsters? Daddy is taking you two to school today!" He says looking around the living room.

"Here, dada!" Scarlett says running into the room.

"Where is Wyatt?" He asks

"Here!" He says popping out of the nursery.

"Ahhh, there you are stinker. Go say bye bye to
Mama so we can get a move on."

Jessica gets on her knees and opens her arms. The twins run into her arms and cuddle with her.

The twins had been in school for a month now and it was going great. At first they began to have a bit of separation anxiety but quickly got over it. Now, their favorite part of the day was going to their little 'school' and playing with friends.

"Bye Bye babies!" Jessica says

"Bye bye mama!"

Two weeks before the wedding-

Danny and Jessica had taken off a few weeks leave for work to really just focus on family and the wedding. It was quickly approaching and there was a lot to take in.

Jessica, Danny, and the babies were flying back out to Minnesota again. Danny and his grooms men and Jessica and her bridesmaids were doing their own separate parties. They were going to be in Minnesota for a week, and then after spending time there all of their family would fly back to New York with them for the wedding.
For now they needed to be in Minnesota for fittings and parties.

Something had changed in Jessica over the last few weeks. She was more tense and very distant from Danny. It was becoming more and more obvious to Danny that Jessica was not herself, he was concerned for her. She wouldn't talk to him about it, she insisted that everything was just fine.

On the flight over Jessica had been short with Danny, a bit snippy. Her and Danny ended up getting into a little fight, they were not talking. Danny was fed up with Jessica's recent attitude. He was frustrated because he didn't know what to do. The ride to Dorthy and Albert's was very quiet, no conversation.

"Didn't we just see you four not that long ago?" Albert says as they walk in through the front door.

Danny was hauling all the bags and baby gear in. He gives them an exhausted chuckle.

"I think so" He says

"Aww, Danny you look exhausted. Let me help!" Dorthy says

"Thanks, nice to see you all." He says greeting George, Albert, and Dorthy.

"Where's Jessie?" George asks

"She's in the car still... I think she's getting the monkeys. Their sleeping."

"You know what, George Albert, help Danny carry the bags to the guest house. I'm going to go see my grand babies!" Dorthy says putting on her jacket.

The men nod and Dorthy runs out to the car. She sees Jessica sitting in the car alone, she was a bit confused as to why Jessica wasn't getting a move on.

"Jessie, honey?" She says knocking on the window door.

Jessica opens the door. "Sorry"

"No, you're fine. I came to help you with the twinsies! Danny said they're out!"

Jessica opens the back seat door "Yeah..."

Dorthy immediately noticed that Jessica wasn't cheery as usual.

"Jess, talk to me, why are looking so gloomy?" She says

"I'm fine"

"No you aren't..." her mother insist

Jessica closes the door and puts her back on the car. She covers her face and suddenly breaks into tears.

"Oh jessie! Don't cry, baby!" Her mother wraps her arms around her and holds her.

"It's getting so close! At first I was so excited, but now I don't know how to feel. Is this normal? To have doubts? This should be the happiest time of my life!" She cries

Dorthy rubs her back and sighs. "This is normal, To be nervous... your nerves are getting to you... don't let them, my love. This should be the happiest time of your life.
Don't let all of this crazy talk ruin your time... before I married your father I was so afraid. Just because, I don't know, I wanted everything to be perfect. I was stressed with the planning and all that jazz... if I could go back I would try to not be stressed. I regret letting my nerves ruin my time. Just try to be happy, Okay?" She says

Jessica wipes her tears. "I've been so out of it, lately. Danny and I got in a little hissy.." She mumbles

Dorthy chuckles "ahh, pre marriage jitters. It's all okay. Just go talk to him, hun. If you're nervous, tell him." She smiles

"Alright... I'm sorry!"

"No, don't apologize. Try to push nerves Aside and take it all in. You have your bachelorette party tomorrow!"

Jessica nods "Okay"

That night Dorthy helped Jessica carry the babies in. They were sound asleep. When it was just Jessica and Danny, she sat down next to him on the bed and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry, for how I acted earlier." She says

He turns to her and kisses the top of her head. "It's okay... I think we are both a little stressed."

Jessica nods, she wanted to tell Danny how she felt and follow her moms advice but she didn't. "Yeah."

"After we have our parties and get a little loose, it will be just fine." He jokes

"I hope..." She mumbles to herself

"Hey, I love you... I'm sorry, too." Danny leans in and leaves a kiss on her lips.

She smiles softly and turns the other way. Her smile quickly disappeared.

She sat their, motionless. She asked herself over and over if she was doing the right thing... if having this much doubt about her future marriage was really normal or not. She had a lot to think about...
