New Years Day-

Both Jessica and Danny were both filled with excitement about the engagement. It was just perfect and Jessica couldn't stop smiling and gazing at the beautiful ring that had fit her perfectly. Jessica and Danny couldn't wait to go home and share the news. They kept it to themselves until they could tell people in person. It was their last day, and to top off the whole trip they decided to go on a long hike up in the mountains. Their plane took off really late that night, so they had lots of time. All of their gear was packed up into the car and they were off to go hike.

Danny looked over at Jessica who stared at her hand with a beautiful engagement ring on it.

"I can't stop staring at it. It's so gorgeous." Jessica smiles

"I'm glad you like it... it fits you perfectly."

"This weekend has been absolutely amazing. Last night topped it all." She giggles

Suddenly Jessica gets a call from her mom.

"Remember, we are telling them in person!" Danny whispers. Jessica nods and answers the phone.

"Hey mom!" Jessica exclaims, loudly.

"Oh, hi! I wasn't expecting such an enthusiastic greeting." She laughs

"Sorry!"

"Don't apologize. Jessica I have the best news for you and Danny."

"Really? What's up? How are the twins?"

"They sat up! They both are sitting up on their own. George was helping them and all of a sudden, boom!" She exclaims

"Oh my gosh! I miss them so much..." Jessica  tone changes quickly. She suddenly got sad, missing such a big milestone.

"I have a video! I'll send it. Isn't that amazing? They are so adorable! You are more than welcome to stay longer!" Dorthy giggles

"Haha, we will be home very early tomorrow morning. Thank you so much again. Give them kisses for me!"

Jessica told Danny the news and he was as excited as ever. "I can't believe how fast time is going with those little ones."

"I'm so sad I missed it!"

"Aww, Jess. There will be so many more milestones!"

"I know... five days away from them is a lot. I'm just glad these five days are with you."

"Me too, but I miss them still."

"Yes! Well we can see them tomorrow morning!" Jessica leans over and gives Danny a quick kiss.

"Look how beautiful these mountains are!" Jessica says getting out of the car.

"They are almost as gorgeous as you." He says

"Haha! You're very funny! I'm super excited. The last time I went hiking I was thirteen!" She helps grab their bags and extra jackets and gloves.

"Luckily this looks like an easy hike. It's not like we are climbing Mt.. Everest."

"True..."

Jessica and Danny put on their extra clothes, gloves, hats, and socks. Then they throw their bags on and start hiking. They held hands the whole way up the mountain. They stopped to take lots of pictures.

Once they got up to the very top they stood there for a while not saying a word. Their breath was taken away by the beautiful sights that they had seen.

"Danny, this is so gorgeous. Thank you for such an amazing trip." Jessica turns to Danny and wraps her arms around him.

"This was the best weekend ever... and I'm pretty sure this was our first trip together!"

"Haha, it is. I just can't get over how happy I am." She squeals

"I was nervous... I didn't know if you'd ever want too." Danny mumbles

Jessica sighs. She was always afraid of marriage. But Danny truly did make her happy. He was the father of her children and the love of her life.

"I was hormonal." She laughs

"Ahhhh." He says playfully tapping her.

As they continue to walk Jessica wanted to stop for another picture.

"Can you see if you can try to make it look like I'm holding the mountain?" She giggles

Danny nods and takes a few steps back. Before he knew it he had fallen into sharp rocks. Jessica turns her head then hears Danny yell. She couldn't see him so she ran over to where she last saw him.

"Jessica, don't step any closer!" He yells

Jessica looks down and sees a steep hole with rocks everywhere. Danny was inside with cuts all over his face.

"Oh my god, Danny!"

"Jessica, I'm stuck. You have to call someone." He says in pain. He tries to get up but when he had fallen he tried to grasp onto rocks that fell onto him.

"Alright, I will!" She says running to find help.
