Week 5-
A few days later Sarah met up with Jessica at the library. Jessica couldn't stop thinking about Danny and how amazing the night was that they spent together. Jessica knew she couldn't have feelings, but he made her feel different. She never felt that kind of happiness with Sam. She loved him dearly, and missed him so much. She was ready for sam to come home, so she could get Danny off her mind.

"Jess, tell me everything!" Sarah says sitting down next to her.

"What do you mean?"

"You and Danny."

"Nothing, we just hung out. He's a nice guy."

"Oo! Did you do anything fun?" Sarah smirks.

"Don't be like that Sarah! I am in a relationship. Danny and I are just friends."

"Jessica, think about it... this Marines thing isn't a one time deal. He will be gone like this all the time. Do you really want to live like that?"

"I like how I am living. Sam will be home soon."

"But Jessica, you can't just live alone and have a long distant relationship were you can't even talk to your partner! Why don't you just try things with Danny."

"Because Sarah! I love Sam! I promised him I would be loyal to him and he promised me he would be home soon. I am not like you were I go around and sleep with other guys. Now drop it!" Jessica snaps closing her book.

Sarah looks at her with wide eyes that huffs.

"If you are going to be like that than sit in your apartment alone. Don't call me anymore when you are sad." Sarah stood up and walked away.

Jessica let out a sigh than checked her phone.

When she saw Danny's name on her notifications here eyes lit up.

Hey, I had so much fun. I want more Chinese food.

Me too, it was a great night.

Maybe we can do it again some time? Only if you want.

I would like that... I have to get back to studying. Bye Danny.

Week 10-

It was three weeks until Sam came home. Jessica got ready to take her finals and finish up the semester. She had hung out a lot with Danny. They did a lot together. Danny would always pick Jessica up from her final class and they would walk around campus. Jessica didn't really talk to Sarah much.

Danny made Jessica feel so good. When she was around him she always wondered what it would be like if they dated. She told Danny everything, they were like best friends. Jessica liked the fact that Danny respected the fact Jessica was in a relationship and didn't try to 'make a move'. Even though Jessica wished he would.

At some nights Jessica would lay in her bed alone and think about what it would be like if Danny was there laying next to her. She fantasized about him. She knew it was bad, but she couldn't help it. She felt like a horrible person when she would think about Danny in that way. The real question was, does Danny feel the same way? They had been spending every day together for the last few weeks.

Jessica went over Jane's one day to see how she was.

"I can't wait for him to come home!" Jane says cupping her cheeks.

Jessica gave her a small smile.

Jessica's phone rang and it was Danny texting her. Jessica's face lit up.

I want to talk to you! Wanna hang tonight?

"Who is that?" Jane says with a smile.

Jessica quickly puts her phone away and smiles.

"Just Sarah. Sorry bought that."

"No problem. Thank you for always visiting me. It's nice to have someones company."

"I enjoy seeing you. It's no trouble."

"Don't you ever get lonely?"

"Not really, I mean I have Sarah and some other friends I see. I keep myself busy."

"But when you are home alone. Don't you miss a mans company?"

"Sometimes, but I love Sam."

"Jess, it will be like this for years. You aren't happy, I don't know how any women could be happy about this."

"I promised Sam I would be loyal, I love him too much."

Later that night Jessica got home and Danny came over with Taco Bell.

"Brought you some tacos!" He says coming inside.

"Wow! Thanks!" Jessica gives him a hug.

"I know, I am pretty amazing."

"You are. After visiting Sam's mom I rented some movies."

"Exciting. How was his moms?"

"Awkward. People keep saying I should move on-"

"But know one understands you promised him and that you love him.

People need to mind their own beeswax. That's horrible that they think you would cheat." Danny's sets down the food and laughs.

"Look, I rant to you too much. I am so sorry."

"Don't apologize."

"I am not lonely either!"

Jessica paused for a moment than shook her head.

"What?" Danny says

"I am not lonely because-

Because I have you."

Danny looks down and smiles.

"If you think we are spending too much time together or-"

"No, no it's not that. It's just I enjoy being with you. And it makes me feel guilty. But it shouldn't because we are friends."

Danny was quite.

"Jessica, I feel like, I don't know that I am messing with your feelings."

"Danny, I don't know what to do."
