The next day-

Danny and Jessica left the hotel early in the morning to get to the babies. On the way home Danny held onto Jessica's hand and didn't let go. Last night reminded Jessica that everything will always be okay when she's with Danny. She loved him. She felt safe with him.

When they got home Jessica could hear the babies fussing through the front door. She swung it open and ran to Dorthy and Albert who were trying to calm them down.

"Aww, why are my babies crying?" Jessica pouts picking up Wyatt. Danny took Scarlett.

"I think they missed their mommy." Dorthy says I'm exhaustion.

Dorthy plops herself down onto the couch and covers her head right as the babies stop crying.

"Were you two not being good for grandma and grandpa?" Jessica says in a baby voice.

"They were good in the beginning." George says walking into the room.

"I'm so sorry! You should have called, we would have came home." Jessica says sitting next to her mother.

"Sorry about that. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to leave them for the night." Danny sighs

"No! Don't apologize. We loved having them. We want to get in all the time we can." Albert exclaims

"Mom and dad were up basically all night." George chuckles

"Gosh! I feel so bad." Jessica looked at her mother and quivered her lip.

"I think your father and I forgot what it was like to have infants." Dorthy giggles holding onto Wyatt's hand.

That night-

The day after the wedding was pretty calm. Everyone rested and didn't do much. Jessica was starting to pack all of the baby stuff. It was hard for her to think about leaving but she thought that maybe it was time. Danny sat on the bed with the babies changing their diapers while Jessica packed up lots of their toys.

"And baby girl is out." Danny whispers. He points to Scarlett who had fell asleep while Danny was changing her.

"Aww, I'll take her and put her in the crib." Jessica stops what's she's doing and picks up Scarlett. She holds her in her arms for a moment and smiles.

"She's just so beautiful. They are both so perfect. I'm just so in love with them." Jessica says softly as she sets Scarlett down in the crib.

"It's all because of you." Danny replies

"That's not true." Jessica rolls her eyes then shakes her head. She sits next to Danny on the bed and puts her chin on his shoulder. They both look at Wyatt who was moving around and giggling.

"Hi baby boy! Are you a little wiggle worm? You just love to move around." Danny says to him.

"He's a happy baby boy." Danny adds

"I'm in love with our little family." Jessica whispers

"Me too."

About an hour later the twins were both asleep. Jessica and Danny were cleaning up the guest house when George walked in.

"Hey, Jess, someone's here for you." He says

Jessica looks up and huffs. "It can't be Sarah. She's on her honeymoon. I'll be right back." Jessica says to Danny.

Jessica walks over to the front of her parents house when she sees Sam standing at the door. Jessica was shocked at first. She walked up to him and greeted him.

"Sam, what's up?" She says curiously

"I wanted to apologize for last night. I should have realized that Danny would appreciate me dancing with you. I didn't mean to put you in a tough spot." He says sincerely

"It's okay, really. You didn't put me in a tough spot. He wasn't mad either." Jessica nods

"Are you sure? He seemed pissed." Sam sighs

"Danny was just being overdramatic. He forgot about it."

Sam and Jessica talk for a bit then he pulls something out of his pocket.

"I forgot to give this to you at the wedding." He pulls out one of Scarlett's lovey's. Jessica widened her eyes and held it to her chest.

"Oh my god, thank you! I've been looking for this."

"You forgot it at my place."

"You were at his house?" Danny says standing behind Jessica.

Jessica was startled at first. She turned around and her face turned red.

"It was just dinner." Sam smiles

Danny looked pissed. Jessica was scared.

"Wow, Jessica." Danny shakes his head.

"Don't do this, Danny." Jessica says in an irritated tone.

"Do what? First you slow dance with him at a wedding and now he's bringing stuff of yours that you left at his house. And while you were out here doing who knows what I saw a bunch of text between you and him. What the hell is going on?" He raises his voice.

"Nothing god damn it! He's my friend!" Jessica clenches her teeth.

Sam walks up besides Jessica and looks Danny in the eyes.

"It was nothing, man. I would never disrespect you like that. Unfortunately I know how it feels." Sam huffed

Jessica sighed and covered her face. She was so angry and embarrassed.

Danny stared into Sam's eyes then came darting towards him. He forcefully pushes Sam to the ground. He smacks his head on the grass and tries to get up. Danny kicks his chest and makes him fall back down.

Jessica acts fast and pushes Danny away.

"You asshole! What was that for?" Jessica yells. She hits Danny and looks him in the eyes.

"Stay away from me and my family. It's my family. Get it through your thick skull that Jessica wanted me because I was responsible and I had something going for me. Unlike you who left for the marines." Danny points his finger.

Jessica's gasps and pushes Danny again.

Jessica tries to help Sam up but he refuses to take her hand. He gets up himself and pushes off the dirt.

"Fine, I'll leave you and your family alone. Just remember that Jessica and I have more history then you and her will ever have.

I'm sorry Jessica, for everything. I'll do what your boyfriend said and stay away. He's right, I was never good enough. Have a good night." Sam turns around and walks to his car.

Jessica tears up and tries to chase after Sam at first. Then she stops at turns to Danny.

"How could you!" She screams walking off.

"Jessica-" he says trying to run after her. He grabs onto her arm but she fiercely turns around and smacks him across the face.

"You're a real asshole. I hope you know that."

Danny holds his cheek and stands there, ashamed of himself.

"You should be embarrassed of yourself. You're a grown man for gods sake. He's a nice man and all he's trying to do is be nice!" Jessica huffs slamming he front door in his face.

Danny clenches his fist and throws them in the air. He had lost control and had felt so bad.

After Danny felt that Jessica may have cooled off he went back into the guest house. He saw Jessica on her phone. She would either be texting or attempting to call someone.

"Jessica, can I talk to you?" Danny says softly

Jessica looks up at him and glares. "He blocked me on everything."

"I'm so sorry, Jessica."

"Why did you do that?" She quivers her lip and tears up.

"I got jealous. I lashed out and I'm so sorry."

"He's just my friend. As much as I love you and the babies I can only feel guilty for what I did to him. Being his friend makes me not feel so guilty. He was trying to be nice and he invited me over his house for dinner so he could give me a tour. He wanted decor tips and a friend! You over think too much, Daniel. I'd never try to hurt you and he wouldn't either. Lashing out and saying those things to him was so wrong. Shoving him to the ground was even worse. I've never seen you like that and it scared me." Jessica becomes flustered and moves her hands around.

"I feel like such an ass. I'm going to make it up to him, I promise. I'll call him or something. I know you'd never try to do anything with him. I just think about all the history you have and it scares me. I'm afraid that you would want him more than me just because I've known you for a year. I can't believe I did what I did. Just not seeing you for so long and knowing that you were with him-"

"Oh my god. You like I'd actually.... oh my god." Jessica covers her face.

Danny rushes to her side and wraps his arms around her. "No, I don't think that."

"I'm such a slut. That's what everyone thinks of me as. A cheating slut." She cries

"No! Not at all Jessica. Nobody thinks that."

"God, I'm so sorry for making you feel like that. Like you have to be worried... you don't have to ever be worried, baby." Jessica hugs Danny and holds onto him.

"I'm sorry jess, this is all my fault."

"It's mine!"

"I don't want to fight anymore. All we have been doing is fighting. We aren't like this."

"I don't want to either. I just want to be happy with you. This is all just a huge mess and was blown out of proportion."

"I'm sorry, again. I can't stress enough how bad I feel."

"I'll try to call him tomorrow. Maybe we can fix this."

**
