September 16th-

Jessica and her mother were in the guest house cleaning up a bit. They took a break when Scarlett woke up.

"Don't cry, little girl! You are too cute to cry!" Jessica pouts rocking her back and forth.

"Are you ready to go back home?" Dorthy says folding up towels.

"No, I don't think so. But I'm ready to see Danny." Jessica nods and smiles at Scarlett.

"It will all be okay. If you decide to stay, you are always welcome. Gosh if I could have it my way I'd have all my kids move back in." Dorthy giggles then hugs Jessica.

"Thank you for all your help. I couldn't be more grateful."

"I'm glad I was able to help. I love you, Jessica. I'm so proud of you."

"I think I'm nervous. When he gets here a lot is going to change. I'm scared I won't be ready to go back to New York."

Danny's POV-

Danny was off work and with his friend Nathan. He and Nathan had been close friends for a while.

"How does it feel being able to see your lady and bring her home in a few days?" Nathan says

"I'm excited to see her and the babies," Danny says quietly

"You don't seem excited, what's going on?"

"I have this feeling she won't come back home with me. It's all a messy situation." Danny shakes his head and takes a sip of his beer.

"I bet she'll come home."

"She forgot our anniversary. It was one year since we met on the eleventh. That was a slap in the face."

"She probably has a lot on her mind. She has two babies to take care of. Don't take it personally."

"I guess if you look at it that way. She might not remember."

"Make her remember."

Jessica's POV-

Jessica was going to her last appointment with her therapist. She was happy that it was over. It had helped her a lot but she didn't think she needed a therapist anymore. The depression slowly escaped her body which made her feel so much better and happier.

"This is it, Jessica." Her therapist says with a smile.

"It is, thank you for your help."

"It's my job. You've come a long way. Are you ready to go home?"

Jessica exhales. "I'm not sure. From what I told you before, I don't think I'll be able to say those things to Danny."

"Why not?"

"When I told you those things I was in a bad spot. I love Danny, I really do. When I see him all of my feelings will change again. Some of them, at least."

"Just make sure you always talk about how you feel. You can't keep your emotions hidden, one day they will find you and come out of hiding."

September 18th-

Today was the day Jessica would drive to the airport to pick up Danny. After a long month, they would finally be reunited. They were both preparing to see each other with nervousness and happiness rushing through their bodies.

Jessica drove around until she saw Danny. When she did her heart sank and she let out a deep breath that she had been holding in for too long. She quickly turned the steering wheel and parked the car. She swung the door open and ran towards him. Jessica jumped into his arms and wrapped her body around him, catching him by surprise.

"Jessica" He says breathlessly holding her tightly. They swayed back and forth standing in the same spot for a few moments. Tears rush down both of their faces. This moment was the moment that Danny had been waiting for. He finally had Jessica in his arms and had no intention of ever letting her go.

Being in Danny's arms once again made Jessica forget everything bad. She only had good thoughts. She didn't think she would be like this when she saw him, but she was.

"I love you so much." Danny chokes up and cries more and more as the minutes go by. Jessica pulls away from him and holds his arms.

She wipes her tears than his. "You shaved that beard of yours!" She giggles

"You look beautiful... you always have. I just can't believe the day is finally here." Danny looks into Jessica's eyes then looks behind her. He sees the car seats but wasn't sure if the babies were inside.

"Are they in there?" He walks towards the car and Jessica follows him.

"They are." Jessica comes up behind him and opens the door. Danny's tears make another appearance as he lifts Wyatt out of the car seat.

"He's gotten so big...

Hey, buddy, it's me, Daddy." Wyatt's head rests on Danny's shoulder. Jessica walks around the other side of the car and carries Scarlett over to Danny. He held both of the babies in his arms and smiled.

"God, I missed you three so much."

Danny drove Jessica and the twins to his parent's house in Stillwater. The four of them were going to spend the night before they had to get back for Sarah's wedding. The car ride over was peaceful. Jessica and Danny did lots of talking. They discussed the twins and caught up a bit. Jessica talked to Danny about the depression but the conversation was very brief. Jessica wasn't able to find the right time to talk to Danny about important matters that had to do with their relationship and living situation.

When they arrived Danny's parents stood outside waiting to see Jessica and the twins. They ran to the car and said their hellos.

"Jessica! It's so nice to see you!" Zoey excalims

"It's nice to see you and John!" She smiles

"Where are my grandbabies?" John hugs Danny then takes peeks his head into the car.

"They must have had a long car ride from the airport. Come on in, dinner is on the stove!" John kisses Jessica's cheek and smiles.

"Hey, mom, dad, Jessica and I are eating out tonight.m, remember?" Danny says

Jessica turns to Danny and shakes her head. "What? Danny your dad made dinner."

"Oh that's right! And we get to watch the babies!" Zoey smiles bouncing Scarlett up and down.

"Danny?" Jessica turns to him

"I have a surprise. Go get ready."

Jessica got dressed and left the house with Danny. She had no clue as to where they were going. In the car Danny didn't answer her when she asked where they were going. He just smiled and changed the subject.

After thirty minutes in the car Jessica noticed that she was in Minneapolis where her and Danny went to college. She hadn't been there in months, it was refreshing.

Danny then pulled into a parking lot. Jessica looks at Danny and he looks at her.

"Alright, let's go." He smirks as he gets out of the car and opens the door for Jessica.

"So where are we going?" She holds his hand as they walk down a little street with shops and restaurants close to campus.

"You'll see."

A few minutes later Danny stops in front of a Chinese restaurant.

"Oh my god." Jessica covers her face and laughs.

"Since the eleventh was the anniversary from the day we first met, I thought we should celebrate. Remember, we walked here after that party and got Chinese."

"Danny! This is wonderful! I remember that night so perfectly. I can't believe you remembered the exact date we first met."

"When I first met you I had this feeling that I should remember the date."
