When Overflow stepped to go into the pool, she expected to go underwater, forgetting about her powers. However, she walked on the water. In front of the whole class. They all stared and gasped in wonder, before Overflow quickly stepped out and ran.

"Hey wait!" Coral ran screaming ,out of breath whilst Overflow froze to the spot, terrified of what her only friends  reaction would be.

"Overflow you never told me you could do THAT! That is amazing, why did you run?"

"Because" Overflow replied with a sigh "it's supposed to be a secret"

"Why would you keep THAT a secret?" 

"Come over later. I can show you."

"Ok?" Coral replied, dazed.

After school, Coral and Overflow walked side by side, the hair flowing in the breeze.

"How much further until we get to your house?" Coral asked questionally "My feet hurt..."

"We have only been walking for 10 minutes, Coral! Stop complaining!"

How could coral explain why her feet hurt without revealing her secret on this warm summer's day? Overflow would want them to go in water later,would she?

"Here we are" Overflow said as Coral sat down, kicking off her shoes and massaging her feet, forgetting they were still scaly. Coral pulled her socks back on, covering her feet before Flow could realise.

"Flow, you're back from school! Who is this with you?" asked Crossflare, walking across with a startled look towards Overflow and whispered in her ear " you know Sun told us not to bring anyone here"

Fearful of Crossflare, she replied "There was an incident in swimming today."

Crossflare sighed, rolling her eyes and faking a smile, turned to coral and exclaimed "welcome. Don't open any closed doors here, or you will deeply regret it."

Coral suddenly turned pale, scared of Crossflare's threat and the pointy metal sword on her back, noting in her head to not open any doors. Flow lead coral round to the back of the house, and they arrived at a pool the size of a football pitch.

Suspiciously, Overflow claimed "She is just uh.. protective, don't worry coral."

"Yeh, she is quite.. scary?" Coral nervously giggled as she stated this obvious fact. Her small smile turned into a small nervous frown and her eyes looked lost and hopeless, making coral seem ghost like.

"Ok well.. remember the pool? Just watch. Don't ask. Yet." Overflow stepped onto the water, clenched her fist and moving her hand up, a spiral of water formed and steadily rised until she unclenched her fist, which caused the spiral to plummet down back into the pool, splashing coral in the process, who went white as a sheet.
