CHAPTER 2
DIE
DIE
DIE
I kept on doodling those words waiting for the lovely sound of bell ringing throughout the classroom signaling the end of this disastrous thing called math. After quite a long dreadful moment, the bell rang and I sprang out of my seat and out of the room. Finally able to breathe after 2 hours. Walking to the second floor, I reached my locker at the end of the hall. I'm actually quite thankful that my locker was so deserted that no one dared to go there and it gave me the privacy I desired. My locker was the only locker occupied there so no one will actually try to talk to me. I don't really talk to people and I don't have many friends. Most of them are just my classmates or acquaintances or my cousin Louis, who I don't want to talk about.
I don't know how strangers can let other strangers into their lives and accept them like they are their family. You can't trust people so easily. What if, that person only comes into your life to ruin it? I don't understand the concept of friend and I have a huge trust issue and I guess that's why I have no friend.
"JR!!"
Well, except for this guy. I watched as a 6' monster walked his way to me while smiling. That guy really needs to stop smiling before his face splits into two. His name is bullshit but people here call him Daniel. Daniel and I became friends when we first met at an MMA competition 2 years ago. He was my competitor and may I say that he was the toughest competitor that I've ever fought with. I won though, no doubts but we became quite close since then. I never knew that we went to the same school until we bumped into each other the next day after the competition. Fate really has its own way to fit in.
"I've told you not to call me that"
He shrugged and tackled me to the ground. In a blink of an eye, he was on top of me in a mount position. His hands were in a ready position to punch me but before he could punch me, I bucked his hips, control one of his arms and trap the same side foot with my foot. Bucked the hips again and roll over the shoulder into his guard. I checked his biceps to prevent punches and submissions. I was on top of him before he could properly take a breath. His eyes were as wide as saucers as he saw me on top of him.
"You can never trick me, dumbass"
I stand up and dust off the non-existence du- wait; there are bags of dust on my jeans. Dang it! Now my jeans looked like it's older than my great grandmother. I narrowed my eyes at him when I heard he said exactly what's on my mind.
"Your jeans can befriend my great grandmother now"
"You did this and you're going to pay for it"
I lunged at him and before I managed to slap him on his head, he dashed off while laughing.
"Catch me if you can!!"
I ran as fast as I can, trying to catch him and when I saw him running inside the cafeteria, I froze. I never went in there. I hate the packs they have in it and how they treat the people who aren't 'famous' like shit. But I still went inside as I want to teach that dumbass a lesson or two.
Opening the double doors that lead to the cafeteria, I could feel the stares the students were giving. I regretted my decision and was ready to leave the cafeteria when a flash blonde-haired monster caught my eyes. I stomped my way to him who was lining up at the food section to get his food. When I reached him, I instantly slap him on the head and put him in a headlock.
"Ouch!! Let me go!! "
"That's what you get from staining and mind I say you said bad bad things about my jeans. And for forcing me to step into this filthy cafeteria"
I whispered the last part before letting him go. I watched as he straightened himself up before he took his place back at the line.
"I know you hate that jeans and I can see it in your face that you also thought that it looked like your great grandmother. Don't lie to me; I've known you too well to see if you're lying so don't even try. Besides, I didn't force you into this 'filthy' cafeteria, you followed me. I only want to have my lunch"
Daniel air quoted the word filthy while looking around the room. Well, it is filthy. Literally.
"Come let's eat"
He pushed me into the line and grabbed a tray filled with very dry-looking spaghetti and small little meatballs, a mashed potato, and an apple. I only took the apple because the other didn't look appetizing at all and I can't eat with all the stares I got.
I followed Daniel to an empty table on the left side of the cafeteria and took a seat in front of him which unfortunately gave me the 'privilege' of watching all the other students. Great. I watched with amusement swimming inside of my eyes as Daniel devoured the food in front of him and finished it even before I could take my first bite. He made the food looked delicious. Now I'm hungry but I don't want to line up again. Damn you, Daniel. He pushed the tray aside and started talking to me. I wasn't paying much attention as I'm getting too much of it from the other students. When the bell rang, we both stood and dumped our food into the bin and out of the cafeteria.
"That was fun. Let's have lunch again tomorrow. See you in Biology"
I surely hope not.
