Chapter Two

The smell of flowers was beautiful. Nick coughed again and looked around the subway station and something stood out to him. Nick looked at a silk banner that was hanging next to the destination sign. The banner was crimson with a sunflower pattern. Then something in Nick's mind clicked and it was a small memory. Nick remembered the banner when he and Mitch were walking passed to get coffee from the drop shop. Nick got up off the chair and looked over the corner and the coffee shop was still here. The line was long and he turned back and walked to the waiting area.

The subway was about 2 minutes away. Nick could hear the subway train racing through the tracks. As the bright lights of the train appeared the train stopped as the loud scratching echoed. Nick covered his ears. It always bothered him. The doors opened and people got off the train. Nick walked on and put his bag under his chair. As he sat down he put his headphone in and put on some music. As the train started moving Nick got a cold chill through his body. Nick felt like something or someone was following him.

"Something feels off. But what is it?" Nick thought in his head.

"I feel so lightheaded," Nick mentioned to himself as head put his hand on his head.

"My head feels like a raging storm in my head," Nick sighed softly.

Nick looked around without making his presents known. Then he drifted off to sleep. As he fell asleep he could hear whispers. Whispering in his ear. Nick twitched and turned. Trying to tune out the voices. They sounded familiar but he couldn't make out what they were saying. The voices sounded like an echo in a cave or an empty house. Nick couldn't think straight and it started to bother him. He heard a heart monitor from a hospital. He opened his eyes and it was very foggy on the train. As the train was still moving and no one was there.

As he got up everything looked run down and old. There was blood on the windows and the floor. Everything was making Nick's head spin making him feel sick like a roll a coaster He couldn't stand that well although as he grabbed onto the rail. He heard a voice whispering to him that echoed through the train.

"Nick. Do you remember me?" The voice echoed.

"Who are you? What's going on!" Nick yelled with fear.

"You forgot about me, darling?" The voice chuckled sounding disappointed.

Nick turned around slowly still feeling sick. The was a man standing in front of the doors. He looked about 5'7 with short brown hair. His eyes were black as coal and hollow. Nick's eyes widened and his heart dropped in his stomach melting in the acid.
