*Daryl's POV*

"Merle!" I yelled walking into a room.

Rick shushed me and everyone else followed behind.

"We're not alone here" Rick said.

"Screw that could be bleeding out said so yourself."

We walked throught the room and there was a fire going. And I noticed Adelyne pick up something off the stove and look at it with a grimance.

"What's that burnt stuff?" Glenn asked.

"It's skin" she told him settiing it down.

"Told he was tough no one can kill Merle but Merle" I told Rick.

Dixon's were tough as nails nothing call kill a Dixon but a Dixon. Although Adelyne was a pretty tough chick I could see it. And she was so hot but I couldn't focus on that right now. I had to focus on finding my brother.

"He's lost a lot of blood" Adelyne told us looking around and sticking her head out of a broken window where she seen a bloddy rag. "There's a bloddy washcloth on the windowsill."

"He left the building?" Glenn asked.

"He's out there alone as far as he knows. He can get through it survivin'" I said.

TDog scuffed and we all looked at him.

"You call that surviving wandering around the streets maybe passin' out? What are his odds out there?"

I glared.

"Better than being left to rot by you sorry pricks" I got up in Ricks face. "You couldn't kill em. I ain't so worried about some dumb dead bastard"

"What about a thousand dumb dead bastards? Diffirent story?" Rick asked looking me in the eye.

"Take a tally do what you want I'm gunna go get em"

Rick put his hand on my chest and I pushed him away and moved back bumping into Adelyne knocking her over. TDog caught her before she fell to the ground and she glared at me annoyed. My god if looks could kill I'd be dead.

"Keep your hands off me!" I yelled.

"Daryl he's family I get that I went through hell to find mine. We can do this but only if we keep a level head" Rick explained.

I sighed and thought maybe he was right.

"I can do that"

"Only if we get those guns first I'm not strolling the streets of Atlanta with just my good intensions okay" TDog told us.

We were all in a room Glenn had an idea on how to get the bag of guns. Adelyne was sitting on the desk in the office we were in looking at what the plan was. She didn't look so good. Her eyes were glossy and she looked ready to pass out. I hoped she was going to be okay. I was going to make sure she made it back to camp and back to Katie. That little girl needed her mother and I was going to make sure she did.

"No way" Rick said.

I paced back and forth looking down at what Glenn drew.

"Even I think it's a bad idea and I don't like you much" I told him.

Glenn looked at everyone.

"It's a good idea. If we go out there in a group we're slow drawing attention. If I'm alone I can move fast" he explained.

He went over the whole plan and we still had second thoughts about it.

"I'll do it" Adelyne said. "I'll grab the bag and come back with it. I hate to admit it Glenn but i'm faster than you."

"No" Riack and I said at the same time.

I looked at him and then we looked back at Adelyne and she looked shocked.

"Why not? Look"

She jumped off the desk and knelt down nect to Glenn.

"The plan will work out the same way. Only instead of Glenn going I'll go and you and Glenn wait for me in the alley and Rick and TDog stay in the same place. It still works out" she explained.

She looked so cute when she was in mission mode and I liked it but I didn't like this idea.

"No no I don't like this idea Adelyne" Rick said and she looked at him.

"Rick I'll be fine"

"He said no and I agree" I siad and everyone looked at me.

Adelyne sighed and moved her hair away from her eyes.

"Why?"

"Because Katie needs you to come back in one peace, alive" Rick said.

That's when her gaze softened and she stood up.

"That's not fair."

"It's completely fair" I said with my arms crossed over my chest.

*Adelyne's POV*

I was in the alley with Daryl and Rick and TDog were in their spots and I had my crossbow with me and I was kneeling down next to glenn and he was getting ready to go. Daryl loaded and arrow quickly

"Got some balls for a china man" Daryl said and I chuckled a bit.

"I'm Korean"

"Whatever."

I took hold of Glenn's arm I would've felt better in I was going. I was faster than Glenn and it would be better if I went but when we voted I was over ruled. Everyone was against me going exspecially Daryl.

"Just come back here safe. I mean it we'll cover you. Ready? go" I said and I stood leaning against the wall holding my weapon.

"That was very reckless of you to do" Daryl told me.

I looked at him confused and tipped my head confused.

"For jumping in front of my weapon the way you did. I coulda shot you"

"Wouldn't be the first time a weapon has been in my face. And I knew you weren't going to shoot me. And if you tried I could take you" I explained looking away back to were glenn was suppose to come back through

"Ha that's cute. I have a good six inches against you."

My mind instantly went to the gutter and I chuckled leaning my head back.

"Shut up" Daryl said with a chuckle.

We waited pateintly Daryl stood next and I heard footsteps he must have to because he looked at me and I noddded. He turned and so did I. We came face to face with a kid who looked no older than maybe seventeen. He looked like he was one of those stoner type kids.

"Whoa don't shoot me! What do you want?" he asked.

"Lookin for my brother he's hurt real bad you seen him?" Daryl growled.

His voice got lower and it instantly became more sexy. Adelyne stop this is not the time!

The scared kid looked at me and I had my crossbow at my side but I was prepared to use it if I had to.

"Don't look at her! Answer me"

Oh Daryl didn't like that. The kid shocked me when he started shouting.

"Ayudame!"

"Shut up you're gunna bring the geeks down on us. Answer me" He growled.

Damn that voice. Adelyne stop. I'm going to have to kick my own ass later for drooling over how sexy he sounded.

"Ayudame! Ayudame!" the kid kept screaming.

"Shut up you hear me shut up!" I yelled holding up my crossbow.

I heard footsteps amd I turned around hoping it was Glenn but then I was knocked to the ground my crossbow sliding away from me. I heard Daryl start to speak but he stopoped and I looked up to see Daryl getting beat up. Quickly I stood up and ran and jumped on one of the guys backs and I grabbed his neck and he yelled in pain. But he quickly got me off his back and next thing I knew I was being beat up as well. I felt a bat hit my ribs and kicks landing to my stomach I cried in pain.

"Daryl!" I screamed.

I tried my best to fight off one of the guys and I used my foot to kick him off me not far just a foot or so.

"Get off me!" I yelled.

"Get away from her!" I heard Daryl yell.

That's when Glenn came back holding the bag. And I was dragged up off the ground by one of the guys.

"That's it. That's the bag, Vato. Take it! Take it!"

I'm being dragged and then one of the men yell in pain. Darly had gotten to his knees and shot on of them in the ass. A car pulled up and I was being dragged backwards an I struggled.

"Daryl! Daryl!"

I was thrown in car and they drove off.

"Adelyne!"
