*3 days later*

*Adelyne*

We had gotten word that Andrea had left Woodbury headed here and she never made it. It scared me, and we were making sure we were out of here. The governor was bound to show up he was gearing up for war.  I had packed up my stuff and I was helping Beth. I picked up a hat,

"Oh this is cute, when did you get this?" I asked examing it.

Beth turned and looked at it.

"Remember when we were on the road and we stopped in the house that was falling apart?" She asked.

I thought back to that. It was literally coming apart. A light came down and nearly hit Carol missing by a hair. It hadn't been my favorite place but we weren't there long.

"Yes I do."

"I found it upstairs in one of the bedrooms. You can have it if you want Al" she told me.

I smiled and slipped it on my head.

"Thanks.....so what do you think about all this?" I asked.

Beth shrugged.

"I mean if it keeps us safe it needs to be done."

I bit my lip,

"Are you worried about Andrea?" I asked.

"Yes. I hope she's okay."

I did too it gave me knots in my stomach not knowing. I helped her finish and was going through my bag when I got called down by Rick.

"What's up?"

"You're going to be staying with Herhsel, Beth and everyone Daryl insists" Rick explained.

I nodded.

"Okay."

"Okay? Just like that?" He asked shocked.

I chuckled.

"Yeah why?"

Rick shrugged.

"I was just expecting more of a fight from you. But 'Okay' thanks for making it easy. "

"Damn I'm not doing my job" I joked.

Rick laughed and kissed my forhead.

"But I do want you coming to Woodbury. You're one of our best shots. Daryl, Michonne, and I are going. We need you"

I nodded and told him im in.

We had retreated the prison, well a few of us. Hershel, Beth, Carl, Carol, and myself and my sisters family. We hid and waited for things to be over. I leaned against the rock and jumped when I heard shots going off. I knew it was from the prison. I was never really a religious person but I prayed that everyone was okay. I prayed I would see my family. Suddenly we heard feet running and we all popped up and Carl aimed his gun as did Hershel. The kid stopped running.

"Put the gun down son" Hershel told him.

This kid looked scared and he was slowly lowering his gun. He almost had it down when suddenly a shot went off and he dropped dead. I was shocked and looked at Carl. OH NO!
I looked at Beth, Hershel, and Carol.

*Daryl*

We had went to get everyone. And we were putting our things away. I seen Adelyne in a cell setting things up, she was wearing a hat. But what had me more interested was the bent over position she was in. I leaned in the cellway.

"Mmmm damn I'm loving the view" I told her.

She turned and laughed, I walked over to her.

"Nice hat, you look cute. Come here"

I pulled her into my arms and my hands rested on her bottom. I squeezed and she squirmed pressing herself into me.

"Mmm. Hey listen I heard you were coming with us too Woodbury. Why did you agree to that?"

I leaned my forhead on hers.

"I didn't agree Rick told me I was going. If Rick says I should go, I should go."

I kissed her forehead gently.

"But Rick doesn't know about your condition, I want you safe" I whispered.

Adelyne lifted her head and gazed up into my eyes.

"I'll be okay, I'll be with you I couldn't be any safer" she told me.

I pulled her in and kissed her passionately holding her against me. Her arms wrapped around my neck and tugged at my hair. I loved this woman she was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I was in the car with Adelyne, Michonne, and Rick. I was sitting in the backseat with Adelyne. All I could think about was her safety. The only people that knew she was pregnant was Maggie and I. I watched as she sat  listening to Michonne and Rick intentivly. Her dark hair was pulled into a ponytail and moving all around from the breeze from the open window. She leaned back and looked out the window.  We slowed to a stop when we seen a humvee and dead people. Rick and Adelyne were the first ones out. I loved how they were so alike. Running to the rescue. Michonne and I followed behind them.

*Third Person*

 They took out the couple walkers and looked around. Adelyne was circling the car and then someone pressed against the window and Adelyne jumped back. She held her chest she nearly scared the hell out of her. Everyone came over, the woman in the Humvee was alive. Adelyne looked up and into the window.

"You alright?" she asked.

The woman just nodded. Daryl watched as she spoke to this woman. Sometimes she had a peaceful way of doing things. Rick could come off a little strong and terrifying. But not Adelyne she was sweet, she could fight but she was very sweet and she got people to trust her.

"Want to come out of there?"

The woman looked out the windows and seen everyone and looked back at Adelyne. She didn't even tear her gaze away.  Adelyne backed up from the door, but it didn't open.

"It's safe I promise."

Adelyne took her crossbow off her back and set it down on the ground and held up her hand. The door started to open slowly and the woman stepped out. She glanced over at the group and then back at Adelyne.

"What's your name?" Adelyne asked.

The woman wrapped her arms around her. It was cold and this woman didn't even have a jacket.

"Karen"

"I'm Adelyne, what happened here?"

*Adelyne*

Karen explained what happened and  took her back to Woodbury parking a ways away and walking there in the shadows hidden. We ducked behind  a car and apparently not quick enough because we had been spotted slightly.

"Who's there?" a voice yelled.

No one said anything. Karen was about to get up but I pulled her down. That's when  the car we were behind was getting shot. Rick pulled me close with protection since Daryl and Michonne were behind him. I wasn't quick enough to grab Karen before she stood.

"Tyreese!" she yelled holding up her hands.

"Karen!" he yelled back.

"Where's the governor?"

"He fired on everyone, killed them all" she explained.

Rick slowly rose from behind the car and we all did slowly.

"Why are you with them?" Tyreese yelled back.

"They saved me."

They had let us enter and we talked to Sasha and Tyreese.

"Is Andrea there with you?" Sasha asked.

 I looked back at Rick, Daryl, and Michonne and we looked back at them and shook our heads.

Sasha looked at her brother.

"She hopped over the wall and headed towards the prison. We assumed she made it when she didn't come back."

My heart quickened and my stomach tied in knots.

"No" Rick told them.

Oh my god. No, Michonne took off and I followed.

"Adelyne! Michonne!"

I didn't care I followed her. Daryl and Rick followed quickly.  We followed Michonne down to were we had rescued Glenn and Maggie. But we kept going, and ended up at a door. I looked at Rick and he nodded. I pushed it open with Michonne and walked in seeing a walker. It was dead I looked to the side and seen Andrea leaning against a wall.

"Oh my god, Andrea"

I rushed over to her and everyone followed. Michonne stayed right by her side. I took her face in my hands and she looked up at me. I looked at Michonne,

"Come on help me get her to her feet" I told her.

"No" Andrea said.

I looked at her confused and Rick knelt down next to me. Slowly and with a wince she pulled back the collar of her coat and revealed a walker bite. My heart broke. Oh Andrea.

"How- how is everyone? Glenn, Maggie, Carol, the rest of them?" she asked.

Rick looked into her eyes.

"Us. The rest of us."

My eyes welled up with tears and I took Andrea in a gentle hug and sniffled.

"I just didn't want anyone else to die" she explained. "Take care of that little one Adelyne" she told me.

Andrea winced and a tear fell from her eye.

"It's time for me to go be with my sister."

Rick slowly handed her his gun and she looked up at him.

"I know how the safety work."

Andrea gave a slight smile. She looked at Michonne,

"I'm staying right here."

We respected that and said our goodbyes. Rick, Daryl and I all waited outside the door. I was sitting with my head down and Daryl was next to me rubbing my back. I jumped when I heard the shot go off and that's when the tears fell. I knew that Andrea was gone.
