I seen Carl running up and my heart stopped fearing something happened to Adelyne. Carl reached us out of breath

"Whoa whats wrong?" Rick asked putting his hand on Carl's shoulder.

The prison door opened and Adelyne came through holding her gun and running. I reached for her when she got within reach but she slide past me with ease and kept going out the other doors.

"Andrea's in the yard."

Rick stood and we all ran towards the door.

We all made it outside and I seen Andrea with a walker on a snarepole and was holding a gun in another.

"Are you alone?!" Rick yelled.

"Open the gate!"

"Are you alone?!"

Andrea made it closer shooting a walker.

"Rick!"

He nodded at Carl and Adelyne who were at the gate. They both opened it letting Andrea in as I shot the walker. Rick pushed Andrea against the fence.

"Ah Rick."

"I asked if you were alone"

He forced her to her knees as he patted her down.

"I'm alone."

I looked at Adelyne and she looked shocked but relieved to know that another one of us was alive. Rick bent down at eye level.

"Welcome back. Come on, get up."

After a while we let her into the prison. I stood beside one of the tables as Adelyne stood near the doorway her gun strapped to her. Andrea came in and immediately hugged Carol. I motioned for Adelyne to come over to me. She looked at Carl and he nodded moving to the door. When she got to me I held her against me my hands in her hair. We all stood just looking at her.

"After you saved me, we thought you were dead" Carol explained.

Andrea looked around and her eyes landed on Hershel.

"Hershel, my God. I can't believe this.
Where's Shane?"

Everyone fell silent.

"Lori?"

I felt Adelyne tense up in my arms at the mention of her mother. I rubbed my hands down her back.

"She had a girl. Lori didn't survive."

"Neither did T-Dog" Adelyne told her.

Andrea looked at all of us in awe.

"I'm so sorry."

Andrea looked into the cell block.

"You all live here? Here in the cell block. There? Well, can I go in?

"I won't allow that" Rick explained blocking her path.

"I'm not an enemy, Rick."

"We had that field and courtyard until your boyfriend tore down the fence with a truck and shot us up."

"He said you fired first."

Adelyne moved away from me and removed her gun. She put her hand on her belt looking so sexy.

"Well, he's lying" she told him.

"He killed an inmate who survived in here. We liked him. He was one of us" Maggie said to her.

Andrea shook her head and moved her hair away from her eyes.

"I didn't know anything about that. As soon as I found out, I came. I didn't even know you were in Woodbury until after the shoot-out."

"That was days ago" Glenn told her.

"I told you, I came as soon as I could."

There was an awkward silence and her head turned in Michonnes direction.

"What have you told them?"

"Nothing."

Andrea sighed and looked at all of us in disbelief.

"I don't get it. I left Atlanta with you people and now I'm the odd man out?"

"He almost killed Michonne and he would have killed us" Glenn stated referring to the awful day.

"With his finger on the trigger. Isn't he the one who kidnapped you? Who beat you?"

She pointed to Merle as she made her accusation .

"Look, I cannot excuse or explain what Philip has done. But I am here trying to bring us together. We have to work this out" Andrea explained.

Rick walked closer.

"There's nothing to work out. We're gonna kill him. I don't know how or when, but we will" Rick explained and he glanced at me.

I looked at Adelyne who was leaning back against the railing her legs crossed at the ankles. I couldn't read her exspession but I assumed it wasn't good. Andrea rounded the table.

"We can settle this. There is room at Woodbury for all of you."

"You know better than that. What makes you think this man wants to negotiate? Did he say that?" Adelyne asked her arms crossed over chest.

"No."

"Then why did you come here?" Glenn asked.

"Because he's gearing up for war. The people are terrified. They see you as killers. They're training to attack."

I paced and looked at Andrea.

"I'll tell you what. Next time you see Philip, you tell him I'm gonna take his other eye."

"We're taken too much shit for too long" Maggie spoke.

"He wants a war? He's got one."

"Rick. If you don't sit down and try to work this out, I don't know what's gonna happen. He has a whole town. Look at you. You've lost so much already. You can't stand alone anymore."

Rick looked at Andrea.

"You want to make this right, get us inside."

*Adelyne*

I was sitting outside on watch. My feet had started to hurt a little bit o I was sitting. Andrea was still here and rejoicing with with everyone. I was relieved to see her and know she was alive. But I know we were never the closest of friends. I just wasn't sure what to say to her. I sighed and started to chew on my nails and looked out keeping watch. I sighed and rubbed my stomach. What was I going to do? I was going to be a parent to another child. What if I failed again? Like I did with Katie. I felt a stray tear slip down my cheek but I quickly wiped it away and pushed that thought away.

"You know chewing is a nasty habit" A voice said.

That's when I seen my sister Mary walking up. I moved and made room for her.

"Yeah so I've been told."

She sat down next to me. She had changed since I last seen her. Her eyes were a dimmer green. Her frame was smaller and she just looked so tired. Like she could sleep for weeks if you let her.

"So when were you going to tell me?" Mary asked.

I looked at her curious and raised an eyebrow.

"Tell you about what?"

Mary scoffed and smiled.

"You think I'm stupid? Al you're pregnant I can tell. You're also gaining weight in your face a bit" she explained.

I looked away and out into the feild at anything to avoid looking in the eyes of my sister. I bit my lip,

"Come on, lie to me"

Instantly my head swiveled in her direction and my eyes narrowed.

"Do not talk to me like I'm a child. I am a grown woman and I make my own choices. We are not fourteen anymore" I told her.

Mary sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

"True but you will always be my baby sister that won't change. And I will always love you."

I nodded and put my arm around her hugging her. I loved my sister so much and I was so happy that she was alive. After I pulled away I stood up and told her I'd see her later.

I was heading down to the gate when a voice stopped me.

"Where are you going?"

I turned seeing Hershel standing with his crutches on the gravel. I put my hand on my hip.

"Wouldn't you like to know Hershel?"

I smiled and walked towards him.

"I would that's why I'm asking. So where you going?"

"Out to hunt. Im not going far and besides I miss hunting" I explained.

Hershel looked at me with that fatherly look I had seen more than once. I bounced on my heels.

"I have to tell Rick and Daryl."

I leaned my head back and exhaled loudly.

"Hershel twenty minutes tops."

He shook his head and I sighed I walked into the prison searching for Rick but stopped when I seen things being packed up.

"Whats going on?" I asked.

"We're leaving" Carol told me.

I looked at her shocked.

"What?"

Carol nodded and I went to Ricks cell to see him packing things up.

"You're just gonna take this laying down Dad? What about protecting this place, its ours?" I asked.

Rick set down the bag on the bed and came over to me.

"Listen to me Al. We are fake leaving, we're going to make sure you and Carl and everyone else are safe. A few of us are going to stay and defend the prison. We got this."

I sighed. I didn't like this idea. If we were fighting to stay I would help defend this place. I nodded and walked up to the perch where Daryl and I slept. He looked at me and smiled,

"Hey momma, what's up baby?" He asked.

I smiled and Daryl slipped his arms around my hips.

"Nothing, I just wish someone would have told me. I'm going to stay and help though I-"

"No no you are not" Daryl said firmly.

I looked at him and raised my eyebrows at him.

"Dar-"

"No Adelyne absolutely not."

He looked around and came closer to me lowering his voice.

"You don't need to stay and help. Plus we have my little man to protect in there, no need for you to be put in danger" he whispered.

I sighed and then chuckled looking at Daryl.

"How are you so sure it's a boy?" I asked.

Daryls blue eyes gleamed with happiness. But even behind it I seen worry, and maybe fear.

"Cause I just know"

I hit him lighlty in the chest.

*Third Person*

Rick was handing Andrea supplies and keys to one of the cars. Andrea was about to get in when Adelyne ran to her calling her name. Stopping Andrea stepped back and closed the door as Adelyne approached her.

"Hi Adelyne."

"Hi. Look I just wanted to clear the air."

Andrea looked at her confused.

"Huh?"

Adelyne sighed and bit her lip.

"I just want to apologize for every mean hurtful thing I said to or about you. We haven't always been the best of friends. But I do care about you, I know you'll do what you think is right. I hope you will, you're a warrior. Maybe my child will be too just like you."

Andrea's eyes widened.

"You're pregnant?"

Adelyne nodded and Andrea hugged her.

"I hope everything works out."

Adelyne rubbed her back.

"No matter what, you always have a home here too. You're one of us Andrea...now drive safe okay?"

They pulled away and Adelyne sniffled. Andrea got in the car waved to all of us and pulled away.
