*Adelyne*

The prisoners were dead all except two Oscar and Axel since they tried to kill Rick and Daryl and Rick was not having that. They had to stay in D or they would be sent off packing. They had tried to negotiate but Rick wouldn't budge on the deal. Herhsel had stopped breathing and Lori had revived him with CPR. Lori was overdue and who knew when the baby would arrive. Carl had found more medical supplies and went into the tombs alone to find them. I nearly ripped that boys head off he could've gotten hurt or killed. He had an attitude towards me but he'll get over it. He knows I love him and I'm looking out for him. Hershel had woken up which was a good thing he was alive and we couldn't be happier. Lori, Beth, Carl, Maggie, and I had gotten crutches for him so he could try walking. We got him up on his one leg and helped him. He almost immediately fell but we kept him upright. We were going to take a stroll because Hershel didn't want to stare at the top bunk anymore so we were going to take a walk. We got him down the stairs and into we had cleared out the bodies he looked around and started to walk with the crutches.

"You cleared all those bodies out. Looks like a place we can really live" He said smiling.

Lori guided him slightly just be sure he didn't fall or wobble along with Beth and me while Maggie trailed behind.

"You watch your step the last thing we need is you falling" she told him.

We kept walking and I looked out and seen Daryl, Rick, and Glenn came though the hole we made in the gate with firewood I waved at them and blew a kiss looking back to Hershel. Glenn cheered for Hershel and Carol and TDog came walking up to watch Hershel press on. I smiled to myself everything seemed to be okay we can have lives here we can hunker down build a life that's all we wanted for a long time ever since the farm got overrun. Carl chuckled,

"Ready to race Hershel?"

I chuckled.

"You give me another day I'll take you on" he said.

I ruffled Carl's hair and he shook his head laughing.

"I'll race you dude"

Carl scoffed.

"Yeah right you're too fast you'd win" he told me with a smile.

I hugged him pulling him into my chest and kissed the top of his head with a giggle telling him i might let him win. We were all watching enjoying everything when we all heard growling.

"Walkers!" Carl shouted.

Immediately we all kicked into gear. Herhsel went with Beth. TDog with Carol, Maggie, Carl, Lori, and I started shooting the walkers. I heard Rick yell along with Daryl and Glenn. I glanced back seeing them running towards us. We scattered and I heard Tdog scream and I watched a walker take a bite from his shoulder. My heart dropped,

"No!!!" Carol screamed.

They ran to the nearest door followed by Maggie. Oh no, I ran to the gate and opened it leading to our cell block.

"Mom, Carl"

They both ran and I closed the gate and went in.

It was silent as we walked through the doors we were heading to were the cells were and suddenly walkers came through. I quickly grabbed Lori as we went through the gate the prisoners had once came out of and slammed it closed. Shit! Somehow we had to get out of this.

*Daryl*

I ran through the gates taking down walkers and looking frantically for Adelyne. She was nowhere in sight and that scared me. Rick looked at Herhsel and Beth who were safe behind a gate. I took down the last walker while my heart was racing. Adelyne where was she? I almost lost her once I didn't want to lose her again.

"What the hell happened?!" Rick asked.

"The gate was open" Beth cried.

"Where's Lori, Carl--everyone else?"

"Adelyne lead Lori and Carl into C block." Hershel told us.

"And T was bit"

"Anyone else?" I asked.

Beth shook her head.

"I couldn't tell"

"Stay put" Rick told them.

More walkers started coming and we started to take them out. Glenn came running up to us.

"Those chains didn't break on their own. Someone took and axe or cutters to them."

That's when we all looked to see Oscar and Axel walking up to check out the scene. My anger boiled, I bet it was them. I was going to kill them they were trying to kill our group and the love of my life was god knows where in that prison. I just hoped she was safe. My god Adelyne please be safe.

"You think they did it?" Glenn asked.

Rick was glaring,

"Who else?"

He advanced toward them but was stopped short by a loud siren. Glenn, Rick and I looked around.

"What's that?"

I groaned.

"Uh you got to be kidding me!" I yelled.

"Daryl"

Rick through the keys to me and i caught them. He started to shoot the speakers to get the siren to stop but it kept going. It was bringing more walkers, this was bad. Rick ran towards the prisoners his gun aimed.

"How the hell can this be happening?!"

Oscar held his hands out.

"Whoa whoa whoa it has to be the back up generators."

"Well, how do you turn those on?" He asked.

"There's three that's connected to a diesel tank, okay? Each one controls a certain part of the prison. The hacks shut 'em off when the prison was overrun."

"Can someone open the gates electronically with full power?!" I asked aiming my crossbow ready to kill them if I had to.

Oscar shook his head and shrugged.

"I only worked in there a few days. I guess it maybe possible."

Rick grabbed his shirt and pulled him.

"Come with us!"

"Let's go!" Glenn yelled.

We all started to run to get to where we had to go to turn off the siren.

*Third Person*

Tdog was holding his shoulder as he lead Carol. He was in pain and losing blood he knew he was going to die but he wasn't going to take Carol down with him. He was going to get her to safety.

"There's a set of double doors that will lead to a corridor it'll get you back to our cell block."

Carol reached for him.

"You should stop."

Tdog winced in pain.

"I'm getting you there."

"Stop!" Carol cried.

Tdog leaned against the wall closing his eyes in pain holding the bite. He didn't care about him he wanted Carol to be safe.

"Why? Sit here and wait to die?"

"No I'll do what I have to. You're not becoming one of those things"

"I can't ask that" Tdogs panted.

"It's the pack remember?" Carol told him following him trying to get him to stop.

"This is God's plan. He'll take care of me, always has. He's going to help me lead you out of these tombs."

Carol looked at him sad as she followed knowing there was nothing she could do to save him.

The alarm was blaring so loud from inside the prison. Adelyne, Lori, and Carl all kept walking down tunnels not really sure where to go but they had to go somewhere. Carl was keeping watch as they went from tunnel to tunnel. Adelyne made sure to keep an eye on him and Lori making sure they were safe. Lori was walking fast panting Adelyne wanted to have her rest. But she knew she couldn't that. That could lead them to getting trapped our killed either way it wasn't good. We kept walking and then suddenly Lori grunted and leaned against the wall.

"Can you keep up?" Adelyne asked.

Lori grunted again.

"Somethings not right."

"Are you bit?" Carl asked worried.

"No, no, no." She said shaking her head.

Suddenly she turned to face them and leaned against the wall sweat coating her forehead. She looked at Adelyne and held her stomach.

"I think the baby's coming"

"Mom?" Carl said his voice breaking.

Suddenly walkers started snarling and Carl was ready to shoot them.

"No, there's no time. Turn back" Adelyne told him.

They all ran and Adelyne helped Lori so she wouldn't fall behind. She knew she was in pain but they had to keep moving. Lori was grunting and coughing in pain. Adelyne prayed they would get through this. The growling of the walkers continued and Carl was basically leading them blind hoping to find somewhere. Suddenly he found a door.

"In here!" He told them and opened the door.

Adelyne lead Lori in quickly and Carl slammed the door shut. Lori gunted again and cried out in pain. We all waited and we heard the walkers pass and Lori came down the stairs panting and grabbed onto a chain hanging nearby. We heard more growling and Lori gasps as a contraction hit her. Oh my god, Adelyne thought. We need to make it out of this.
