*Daryl's POV*

A few of us decided that we were going to look for Rick and the others last night. I was against Adelyne going but she wasn't going to listen to a damn word I said right now. We were just about ready to go when we seen Hershel's car pull up. Suddenly Hershel, Glenn, and Rick all got out. And Maggie instantly ran to Glenn and Lori, Adelyne, and Carl all went up to Rick and he hugged them all.

"We're alright but what happened to you?" Rick asked looking Lori over.

"I was in a car accident"

"Accident how?"

"I went looking for you" she explained.

"Snuck off by herself I brought her back" Shane told him.

"Are you crazy you could've-"

"Who the hell is that?" TDog asked.

We all looked to see where TDog was pointing and there was a kid in the backseat with a blind fold on and he looked to be out cold.

"That's Randall" Glenn told us.

Who the fuck was Randall? He better not become a threat to anyone exspecially Adelyne. I wanted him no where near my girl she needed to be safe.

I found Adelyne sitting in her tent by herslef holding onto Katie's purple monkey and my hand slipped into my pocket and I held onto the bracelet that had been made for me. Adelyne brought the stuffed animal to her mouth kissing it. That made my heart ache for her I threw Katie's death in her face. I watched her lean her face onto it and start sobbing. No not it was my fault I did this to her. Sighing I unzipped her tent and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. I didn't even say anything to her she stood up and I walked over to her pulling her into a tight embrace as she sobbed. I stroked her hair and she wrapped her arm around my neck and I couldn't help but love how she felt in my arms. This was the woman of my dreams, the love of my life.

*Adelyne's POV*

I had accepted Daryl's apology but his words would always ring true to me but I would never tell him that. We all stood in Hershel's house and listening to Rick talk.

"We couldn't leave him behind. he would've bled out if he lived that long, it's gotten bad in town" Rick told us looking around.

"What do we do with him?" Andrea asked.

Hershel walked in drying his hands.

"I repaired his calve muscle best I can but he'll probably have nerve damage. Won't be on his feet for at least a week" he explained.

I ran a hand through my hair and Daryl came up next to me putting his hand on the small of my back.

"And then what?" I asked.

Rick looked at me his eyes all serious.

"When he is we give him a canteen, take him out to the main road, send him on his way" Rick explained.

Just letting him go didn't seem to be right in a way but on the flip side it was a good idea. But at the same time now. I had gotten a good look at the boy he looked young couldn't be any older than maybe eighteen or so.

"That's what we're going to do?" I asked.

"Isn't that the same as leaving him for the walkers?" Andrea asked brining up exactly what I was thinking.

"He'll have a fighting chance" Rick explained.

Shane stepped forward.

"Just gonna let him go? He knows where we are,"

Rick glared at him with that serious look he had. "

He was blindfolded the whole way here he's not a threat."

Shane chuckled lightly crossing his arms over his chest.

"Not a threat. How many of them were there? You killed three of their men, took one of then hostage but they just ain't gonna come lookin for him?" Shane asked with a smug look.

"They left him for dead no one is looking!" Rick yelled causing my to jump a little.

I hate when Rick yelled it scared the crap out of me exspecially because in all the years I'd known him he rarely yelled. I once compared him to a dog that never barked but I was drunk and that was whole diffrent story. Way before the world went to hell.

"We should still post a guard" TDog told us.

"He's out cold right now, will be for hours."

"You know what I'm going to go get him so flowers and candy. Look at this folks—we back in fantasyland" Shane said as started to walk away.

I rolled my eyes and we all followed him.

"God Shane you're such an asshole for once just shut up" I told him and he turned to glare at me and opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by Hershel.

"You know, we haven't even dealt with what you did at ny barn yet. Let me make this perfectly clear, once and for all— this is my farm. Now I wanted you gone. Rick talked me out of it, but that doesn't eman I have to like it. So do us both a favor— keep your mouth shut."

Ouch. I looked at Daryl who looked down at me and then kissed my forhead.

"We aren't going to do anything about it today. Let's just cool off" Rick explained.

*Daryl's POV*

I was at my tent and I seen Adelyne running up and I instantly put down my stuff and focused on her. She took a few seconds to catch her breath,

"Hey, I heard you're going to talk to the kid when he wakes up, I'm going to" she told me sipping the water I handed her.

I shook my head. No! I didn't want her to see that I wasn't going to be nice and she would be in danger, I wanted her nowhere near him.

"No I won't allow it."

Her eyes widened.

"What? Come on let me. I want to help and I can help you" she explained.

"Do you even know who to intereigate someone?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Trust me" she walked closer to me and put her hand on my chest pushing back with a sexy look until I was against a tree. "I know how. I can be sly and sneaky and get into someone's head find out what drives them."

Her voice was low and seductive she turned and rubbed her butt against me quickly.

"Mmm babe" I growled.

She looked at me with a smile and flipped her hair away.

"Let's find out what drives you  wild again" I growled grabbing her hips and pulling her against me.

"That depends is that a yes to helping you?"

I sighed and surrendered and she let me take her the way I wanted to.
