*Daryl's POV*

I walked up to the house and seen everyone outside and I scanned for Adelyne who was sitting on the porch with her head hanging. Her elbows rested on her knees and her hands dangled between her legs and I sighed. She looked so upset. I walked up to Carol and she looked at me shocked.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Lori snuck off to go get Rick. Shane went to go get her" she explained to me.

I scuffed and rolled my eyes.

"Dumb bitch" I mumbled.

I cast another look at Adelyne who was still sitting in the same position she had been. It hurt me that I hurt her it was horrible and I felt like shit. Carol noticed me looking and put a hand on my arm.

"Whatever happened? Whatever was said or done, fix it."

That's when I looked at her and sighed,

"How when she won't even talk to me?" I asked.

"You just keep trying eventually she'll give in and talk."

I walked over to her and she didn't even stir its only when I sat down she moved away. My hopes popped like a balloon.

"Adelyne I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said you know that, please I just want to talk to you" I said softly.

Adelyne didn't look at me she just kept her eyes on the ground.

"I don't want to talk to you at all right now Daryl you need to get away from me" she growled and I sighed.

"Can you just listen to me? I didn't mean what I said it was all a mistake I never meant to throw Katie back in your face like that" I explained touching her leg.

She looked at me and pushed my hand away. Her green eyes were serious as she gazed into mine.

"Yeah well you did and I'm not just going to shove that under the rug and-"

Suddenly headlights came pulling up grabbing our attention. That was the car that Shane took. Adelyne called for Carl and he came out of the house and they walked over together and Lori and Shane got out of the car and Carl ran over to his mother and hugged her. Everyone else was asking if she was okay and Adelyne hugged her tight.

*Adelyne's POV*

"My god" I whispered embracing Lori while everyone was asking if she was alright.

"Yes I'm fine- I'm fine, where's Rick?" she asked.

We all looked at her and then at eachother and a realization came to Lori's face.

"They're not back? Where are they?" she asked and then she turned towards Shane.

What had Shane done? He had lied to her hadn't he?

"Lori I had to get you back here, you wouldn't have come otherwise" Shane explained.

Suddenly Lori went up to him and started hitting him and Shane shouted explaining he would go find them. But Lori just kept hitting him and that's when I walked up and pulled Lori away.

"First things first I got take care of you, I gotta make sure the baby's alright" he said.

Baby?

"You're having a baby?" Carl asked stepping into sight. "Why didn't you tell me?"

I wondered the same thing. Did Rick know about the baby? I looked at Daryl who was still just standing there he looked at me nodding and I looked away.

Well we find out Lori is prego and that Adelyne is going to make it hard for Daryl to try and make things right. Sorry this update took so long. My bad guys.
