Malfoy Matter
Ombré and Draco had just been given a lecture on apparently a very famous boy who survived Voldemort. Rumor was Harry Potter was joining Hogwarts this year. But the way Lucious Malfoy described it to his children was much different than how anyone else described it. So in a turn of events, Ombré and Draco were convinced to hate this boy. After much talking and buying the books, the three Malfoys were off to the train station. "Father, is there food on the train?" Ombré asked quietly. "Yes there should be, but you're not eating like a pig, I don't need anyone seeing a Malfoy eating a lot, it's a disgrace and it's disgusting."
The thing was, Ombré Malfoy wasn't even fat or anything, she loved food but worked out and kept herself...thinner than maybe acceptable. The pressure from her father on how thin she should be was getting to her head as of this last year, before then she never really cared. "Okay." She replied softly. "Now!" Lucious grabbed a trolley and hauled it over. "Take your stuff. I can't and won't ride the train with you so you two are going alone. Make sure to stay away from redheaded hand-me-down Weasleys and that Potter boy." The Malfoy twins nodded and shoved their excessive luggage onto the trolley. Lucious nodded.
The twins turned their heads to face the brick wall, their platinum blonde hair whisking around as they gripped the trolley and ran at the wall. And with a swoosh, they disappeared, starting their new journey into the Hogwarts world.
"Wow." Draco grinned as he looked at the sleek black train. "Indeed." Ombré agreed. They boarded the train and walked down the isles. "Hey Ombré, will you help work homework?" Draco asked as they sat in an empty car near the back. "Sure." She shrugged. Just then there was loud footsteps as someone approached their car. Then Luna Lovegood flung the door open and smiled. "Hello Ombré!" Ombré stood and gave a quick hug to her close friend. Draco sighed and rolled his eyes. "Are you excited? I'm excited. My dad got me extra books for..things." Luna said with a smile. Ombré raised her eyebrows. "Like???" She questioned.
"Well I've got some voice hearing books, and some on hallucinations. And..." she lowered her voice so that even Draco, who was right there, had to strain to listen. "Ones that talk about dark pasts and theories on famous witches and wizards." Ombré smiled. "Sounds interesting, come on Luna! Sit." Luna politely shook her head. "I'm dearly sorry Luna, it's just, I have some muggle born friends who have absolutely no idea what they're doing. I've GOT to help them out. Maybe after we get sorted we can talk about how Severus Snape was a teacher's pet!!" Luna giggled and ran off. Draco scoffed. "She's friends with mudbloods? I knew that girl was bad news, the moment I saw her."
Ombré crossed her arms and glared at her brother. "We were three when our parents met. There's no way you thought she was bad news." She shot back. "Whatever. I'm personally taking a nap." "Hmm..me too." She agreed.
-Time skip cuz im not watching them sleep-
The whistle which, well, whistled, rang through many ears, and woke up many, including the Malfoy twins. "All students may exit the Hogwarts Express!" The conductor announced. The Malfoy twins grabbed their luggage and slid open the car door. "Let's go." Ombré said softly. The two heaved their stuff off the train. "FIRST YEARS! THIS WAY! ALL FIRST YEARS!!!" A person called...or was that a bear? Ombré couldn't tell. Anyways, the two headed on the direction of the unknown tall hairy creature. They got directed to small wooden boats and were sorted into lines who slowly boarded boats in groups of three and set off, there was always someone who wasn't a first year it seemed, along the ride with them.
Finally the Malfoy twins arrived at the front and the hairy, man it seemed, greeted them. "Ello, names' Rubeus Agrid, gamekeeper of Ogwarts, welcome aboard, a third year will be joinin ya, so don't worry." Agrid, or as the twins would later learn is actually Hagrid, waited to let them aboard about until someone came to be the third year on board...or should I say, someones. Two gangly gingers grinned and poked each other as they hopped aboard. Hagrid raised his bushy eyebrows. "Ello Weasleys..did you get a permit?" He cautiously asked. "Yes of course." One said. "Think we wouldn't?" The other asked, as they both handed Hagrid red slips of paper. "Hmm.."
Hagrid scanned over the paper multiple times. "Seems like ya ain't trickin me. No funny business?" Hagrid asked. "Nope." The third years replied. "Alright, hop on board." He said, gesturing to Ombré and Draco, who did as they were told. As the boat sailed off, the third years waited till they were out of earshot before excitedly turning to the Malfoys. "The thing is," one started. "We had Snape's signature." The other said. "And these dimwits made detention and permission slips the same color," the other started again. "So we ripped off Snape's signature from one of our detention sheets," the other continued, which at these point had the blonde Malfoys looking back n forth between them. "Put it near the end of the permission slip," the other grinned. "And used a mending spell so the two were one!" The other one laughed, finishing their story.
"You did good Freddie." Said the one on the right. "You too Georgie." The other one smiled. "Erm..so, Georgie and Freddie, who is Snape?" Ombré asked. The presumably twins stared before bursting out laughing. "Hear that Georgie?" "Right on I did Freddie." The twins grinned and turned back to the twins. "Did I say something?" Ombré asked, genuinely confused. "It's Fred." The one on the left said. "And George." The other said, both still smiling. She went over what she said in her mind then her face flushed with embarrassment. "Oh you were calling each other that so I thought-" "It's alright kiddo." George smiled. "Fine by me." Fred smirked.
"You guys look like idiots, are you Weasleys?"
Silence.
