Chapter 1
In the days of Camelot, a young girl was out in the fields playing in the wind with flowers. The girl had brown hair tied back, and blue eyes. She wore a purple dress with, a belt around her waist. She wore a simple silver circlet on her head. A man was sitting against a stone a bit away. He was writing away in a journal when he looked up and smiled.
"Colette," the man called out.
She looked at him. "Papa?"
"You should be using this time to study not play with your magic," Her dad instructed. The flowers and wind dropped when a man walked up the hill.
"Your majesty," Colette curtseyed as she lowered her head.
"No need to stop," the man said. "What you were doing was beautiful." Colette smiles as her dad gets up. "Merlin, I need to speak to you."
"Arthur you know I like to use this time to teach my daughter," Merline reminded him. "If she's going to take my place in the future she needs more lessons."
"Colette starts Hogwarts next month, she already knows more magic than other kids her age," Arthur explained. "I come to speak to an important matter revolving around Morgana." Merlin sighs and looks back at his daughter.

A few days later, Colette was standing in the middle of the room on a stool as a woman measured her, another older woman was sitting in the corner sewing.
"Grandma, what if I don't get into Hufflepuff?" Colette asked.
The older woman in the corner looked over. "Then that is quite alright."
"But you are the founder of that house," Colette brought up. "It'd be shameful if your granddaughter didn't get in." The woman measuring her pinched her cheek. "Mom." Britta Hufflepuff, her and Merlin never married, but the two had grown to be friends, and upon a fateful night resulted in Colette.
"Colette, my mother accepted people for who they are without preference unlike the other founders," Britta explained. "If you have a preference that one of the founders prefers then that is who you are. You will still be loved regardless of your family." Colette smiled at her.
"How is your training with your father going?" Helga asked.
"Pretty good, King Arthur wants me to listen in at the next roundtable meeting," Colette answered.
"He won't make you leave Hogwarts will he?" Britta asked. "Your father is very keen on you learning more than he's taught you."
"Britta you are hovering," Helga said. "To be allowed at the roundtable at 11 is an honor, I'm sure the majesty wants Colette to start how to communicate and to talk at these meetings."

Colette had now started Hogwarts, and Rowena Ravenclaw had given her wand. The wand was 6 inches, made of alder, and passed a phoenix feather core. To her joy, Colette made Hufflepuff, her grandmother and mother were both very happy about it. Merlin was jokingly upset that she didn't get Slytherin.
Colette was already well-versed in using magic, the wand helped her gain a bit more control when things were too difficult. During the week Colette would spend time at school, and on weekends in Camelot. This went on for about a month, one day while Camelot, Colette was out in the woods with a muggle named Hewett. He was the son of the night, the two had fake swords and were practicing with each other. Hewett wasn't a son of a knight at the roundtable and King Arthur wanted Colette to have practice with a sword. He once gave her lessons when she was about seven. She had just got knocked onto her feet.
"I win again," Hewett teased.
"But I had all my defenses up this time," Colette said as she got pulled to her feet.
"Which means you still have that much more to learn," Hewett stated as they both got into stances again. "If you want to be a valued member at the roundtable, you need to be good at the sword, and magic."
"And speech," Colette added as Hewett lodged, she blocked him. "You are good at this, are you going to be on the roundtable."
"That depends on the next king," Hewett answered as they continued their training. "It would be a great honor. Your father got Sir Cadogan, maybe you can get me."
"It's a deal," Colette agreed, she looked past him and saw someone step into view.
"Never take your eyes off your opponent," Hewett said as jabbed her arm.
"Ow!" Colette yelped.
"Pay attention," Hewett instructed. "You are messing up a basic rule." Suddenly, the person shot a spell, Colette pulled Hewett behind her and put up a hand, a shield appear blocking the spell.
"Well down, Colette," a voice said as the person stepped into the light revealing a woman.
"Morgan Le Fay," Hewett breathed.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Morgan said with fake sympathy. "Am I interrupting your date?"
"This isn't a date," Hewett said quickly. "We are training."
"Training," Morgan laughed. "That's cute." She suddenly turned into a raven and flew away.
"We should go," Colette advised.
"King Arthur would want to know about what happened," Hewett added.
"Leaving so soon?" Morgan's voice rang suddenly. It happened so quickly; Colette looked back to see Morgan standing behind Hewett with a knife. A funnel of darkness appeared around Hewett, when it disappeared, he looked back to see Colette had taken attack, she was bleeding out of her shoulder.
"Colette!" Hewett exclaimed.
"Thank you," Morgan smiled. She grabbed a hold of Colette and disappeared, and Hewett went right to the king. They found Colette a day later in a tower. Colette was now sitting in a room in Camelot's castle, the king and her father were inside.
"What did Morgan say to you again?" Arthur asked.
"Morgan had cursed my daughter to kill you," Merlin said with unease. "When it is least expected."
"Does that mean I am going to die?" Colette asked as she held the blanket tighter and looked down.
Arthur sat on the bed, and Colette backed up. "None of us are going to die," Arthur assured her. "We will figure something out." He put a hand on her head. "What you did for Hewett was very brave. Don't forget that."

Within a week a plan was devised to prevent Colette from killing Arthur, the plan was developed with Hogwarts. Colette was to drink a sleeping potion that would put her in a deep sleep and be locked away in a room at Hogwarts.
All the founders, Merlin and King Arthur were standing in a room with Colette at Hogwarts. It was designed similarly to the room she stayed in to recover in Camelot as well.
"Once you are asleep, this room will stay hidden from everyone that isn't in this room," Helga Hufflepuff explained. "Once you awake then this room will become accessible to all." She placed a cauldron on a shelf. "This can hold anything small from a ring to a grand mirror. "
"The mirror can allow you to step back in time," Britta explained. "But the people will not see you or hear you. It can also act as transportation for the present time. Since there is a possibility of you not waking for months. You can't step into Camelot this day, only the one you are waking in." Colette nodded.
"In this room, is also a crown and sword cursed to kill Arthur," Godric explained as gestured to the sword on the wall; then to the crown in a case that sat on a pillow. "When the curse is broken, the headmaster will become the first to know, and send a message to the people in Camelot." He held up a red gem. "Having this one you will allow you to speak to dragons." He placed it in the cauldron before walking over to her. He placed a dagger into her hand. "This can destroy anything."
"Including a Horcrux," Merlin added. "If ever someone was evil enough to make one."
"When you are asleep, I will place an enchantment on you," Rowena began to speak as she placed a crystal ball by the 'window'. "Until you awake, you will not age past the 11, you can wake up in two years and still appear 11."
"The crystal ball will allow you to locate anyone that you wish," Arthur explained. "Upon awakening and you wish to find your mother, use the crystal ball and then the mirror."
"That would make sense," Colette said.
"The potion is ready," Salazar said as he poured it into a goblet for her to drink. "While you are asleep, you'll never become hungry, or dehydrated." He then put the goblet on the bedside table. "If by chance the potion doesn't outlast the curse, then you are to use this." He held up a small box, he opened it revealing a ring, a snake was engraved around it. He picked up the ring and slid it on Colette's finger, she turned invisible, he slipped it off and put it back in the box. "Use this to come to find one of us, do not under any circumstances go to King Arthur."
"You are cursed to kill Arthur when least expected," Britta added. "If you go to the majesty, he can become injured or dead."
"I understand," Colette nodded. She then turned to her parents, without a word, Merlin engulfed her in a hug, and Colette hugged back.
"Starting to think you were supposed to be sorted in Gryffindor," Merlin said.
"Hufflepuffs can be brave as well," Colette said.
"Colette is heavily loyal to Camelot," Britta pointed out. "She truly is a Hufflepuff, Merlin." Merlin pulled back and Britta hugged her daughter, kissing her head. Colette went over to her grandmother, Helga placed a hand on her face and they touched foreheads. She then went over to the goblet, and seconds after drinking it all, Colette fell into a deep sleep. Merlin placed her on the bed, dagger secured in her hands. Beneath her was a blanket her mother had made her, and on her nightstand was a wooden flute that Helga had made her a long time ago.
Colette ended up sleeping for centuries, passed the time Camelot fell. The founders, and members all checked on her from time to time, but they too had passed along with Camelot. After they all passed, many witches and wizards had become obsessed with finding The Lost Princess and the 13 artifacts, but no one had any luck.

It was a dark knight, in a burrow, Molly Weasley had just finished ready the story about Colette of Camelot to eight-year-old Ron Weasley, he was still wide awake.
"Again," Ron requested as he pulled the covers up more.
"Ron, it's time for bed," Molly said as she stood up. "All your siblings are asleep."
"Just one more time please," Ron requested.
"Ron," Molly said as she put her hands on her hips.
"If you could have any of those missing items, what would they be?" Ron asked.
"If they were real...the crystal ball," Molly answered. "That way I could keep track of all my little carrots."
Ron smiled bigger. "I would want to find Colette herself, she sounds like an angel, so fearless and kind and pretty."
"Fancy a fictional character, Ron?" a voice asked, they looked to see Arthur Weasley. Ron nodded as his face turned red. "I would like into all those items. Each contains powerful ancient magic, Colette herself was said to be well-versed in ancient magic."
"Ancient magic?" Ron asked as he sat up. "What is that?"
"Magic from long ago," Molly answered. "It got lost through time, back in the days of the founders, it was just called magic, lots of witches and wizards knew it. Some of it was ancient to them as well."
"Does anyone use it now?" Ron asked. "I want to use ancient magic."
"As your mother said, ancient magic has been lost to us," Arthur answered. "Only a few can use it these days, though I have not met anyone that could. Albus Dumbledore may know, but I honestly have no clue, some are born with it, but it's very rare these days."
"Besides you don't want to learn it," Molly said. "Ancient Magic is ten times more dangerous than the magic we currently have." She put a hand on his head. "Now, get some sleep." Ron held the book up. "Read it yourself then and then sleep."
"Goodnight son, Arthur said.
"Good night," Ron said his bedroom closed. He laid back, he opened the first page, on it was a drawing of Colette of Camelot. "Princess Colette of Camelot."
