If there was one word he would use above all others to describe his current surroundings, it would be emptiness. A dark void was all that greeted him, regardless of wherever he may look. No light or sound, no temperature or wind, just a black void and him.

Where am I? He thought as he floated around in this dark void. His body refused to move and obey his commands, his limbs unresponsive and seeming as if they weren't there at all; not that he was in need of moving right now, but it was an observation his conscious mind couldn't help but make.  With no discernible he couldn't identify his location, or even his basic position. But for some he believed that he was currently horizontal, in a lying position facing upward. Regardless of whatever attempt he made to move his eyes, he was unable to truly see anything other than the surrounding blackness; even his own body wasn't visible in all the darkness.

Another observation, despite his attempts to examine his surroundings, was that he felt nothing.
No outside forces could theoretically be understood, given the visual nature of his surroundings. But a lack of inside forces he could not explain. Despite attempts to move his body, he didn't feel any struggle with its disobedience, but rather he felt nothing at all.  Even attempting to move his eyes produced no sensation. Nor was there any detectable sensations from his efforts to blink or form words. With that brought yet another observation; with there being no sound in this void, there was also no way to hear his own voice when he spoke.

How did I get here? He thought as tried to recall how he got here and what this place is, only to come up no memories as to how he got there. Which led him to ask himself another question. W-Who am I? He thought as raced through his mind again, only this time trying remember anything. my friends? nothing, my home? nothing, my family? nothing, my birth date? nothing, my own name!?!.... nothing. He can't remember anything about him.

"I know you hate me," A deep voice said echoing through the darkness and catching him off guard. Despite him being unable to tell which way he was facing; he look around checking for any changes in his surroundings. Nothing. He thought as he saw no changes to his surroundings. "And you can continue to hate me," The voice continued only now he noticed that voice spoke with a sad tone, like its trying to hold back tears. "But I will always love you, and nothing will ever change that. I'm so sorry... Allen" The voice said fading away into the darkness.

With now voice gone all he could do was think about the voice and what it said. He had no idea what it was talking about, but for some reason it made him feel said. He thoughts were interrupter as a bright blue light started flashing all around him. The darkness that once occupied his vision was now replaced with a bright blue. The lights brightness forcing him to blink as he noticed that feeling began to return to his body, as the blue light enveloped his entire body and disappeared.

Just earlier Jana was enjoying her nightly jog through the city park enjoying the cool night air as it flew across her face like she normally does, that was until she came across someone lying face down on the grass right next to the jogging trail.

Approaching the body she could see that it was a young man with shaggy dark brown hair wearing nothing but a pair of white pants covered in rips and tears. Strange, I wonder what hap- OH GOD! She thought when she saw that his back was completely covered in cuts and burns.

Cautiously she knelt next to him, placed a hand on his back and shook him."Sir?" She said gently shaking him, but received no response. "Sir, are you okay?" she said a little louder, as well as shaking him a bit harder, still no response. Getting a little fed up with this, she placed both of her hands on his back and tried again. "Sir? Sir? Si-"

(GASP)

Jana jumped back a bit, as the man rolled onto his side and broke into a coughing fit. "Oh god! Are you alight?" She asked as the man steadied his breathing and looked up at her.

Getting to his feet he replied to Jana"Y-yeah I-I think s-" He tried to say only to fall down to his knees, as a wave of pain exploded in his chest. Looking down all he can do is just stair in horror as cuts and burn cover the front part of his chest, but what truly scared him was the large burn that covered the entire top left part of his chest.

"Oh my god!" Jana said seeing the large burn on his chest. Panicking all she could do was say. "W-wait here while I go grab help!!!" And turn to leave to go get help.

The man was about to say something but couldn't say anything as he saw her jump into the air and

fly away.

All he could do was stair at the spot she flew away from in shock, as he tried to rationalize what just happened in the calmest way possible. "AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" By screaming like a little girl and falling back unconscious again.
