Monochrome Eve

Monochrome eve, fill my heart.

The pale light filters through trees to the shore;

And walking here I couldn't ask for more,

This night to mark the autumn's start. 

As we walk down this path the leaves begin to fall.

Through the moonlight I can see you smile.

Though the moonlight is beaming down on us,

The only light I see is the sparkle in your eyes.
