Kellen heard sounds of screaming coming from the forest.

Tears spilled through his eyes and ran towards his house. Many children watched as his face glowed like he had seen a ghost. He didn't stop running no matter what happened. It was over. Kendall was gone and there was nothing Kellen could have done about it.

He couldn't sleep.

The flashbacks of Kendall's death made it hard to relax. His memories of Kendall were flushing through his mind, and every time he smiled, the flashbacks of the monster tearing Kendall into pieces popped up and wouldn't go away.

Finally, he closed his eyes.

Kellen was running through the forest.

Screams of Kendall came from all around him until something with long claws slowly pounced onto Kellen's shoulder. Blood dripped onto his shirt and fell to the ground. Slowly, Kellen turned around. His eyes sparkled widely open as he gritted his teeth. 

"Kendall, what are you doing here? I thought you were dead!" Kellen said, his nervousness so obvious that Kendall smiled like a demon. 

"I am not dead, Kellen. Believe me, this is only the beginning." 

Sorry for this short chapter everyone! 

I kind of had to rush to finish this chapter today so y'all could read it! I PROMISE the next chapter will be much longer, at least 1000 words long. It will be updated Saturday, June 20th, if not, sooner.
