When they got back to the village, Aceso got to pretty good friends with Team 7, rekindle her friendship with Sakura a bit. She tried to return the headband, giving up the idea of being a ninja. She was currently standing in front of Lord Hokage and the council.

" I can not have this headband," Aceso said as she held it out.

" You've earned that headband," Lord Hokage reminded her.

" And I have unearned it," Aceso insisted. " I was useless on the mission."

" From what Kakashi you were far from useless," Lord Hokage recalled. " You even invented your own chakra medicine."

" That doesn't mean I have a right to be a ninja," Aceso argued.

" Aceso! Stop arguing with Lord Hokage!" Iruka argued.

" Sorry, sensei," Aceso apologized as she bowed her head.

" How about this? Stay a ninja till the Chunin exams are over from there you have every right to stop being a ninja if you wish," Lord Hokage offered. " You love working as a medic during those exams as I recall." He was not wrong, Aceso loved being able to show off her skill and meet other people from different villages and around her own village.

" Really?" Aceso asked as her eyes lit up. " I'm much more fit for just staying in the hospital."

" You live in the hospital," Iruka reminded her.

" That doesn't mean anything," Aceso argued.

" In about two months you can hand over that headband," Lord Hokage. " As for now hold on and continue being the beloved medical ninja in this village."

" Yes, sir," Aceso agreed. She then was able to leave. Later that day she was sent to a lady's house to check on special herbs for the hospital. When she got there, the lady was yelling at Naruto.

" Those were special herbs I've been growing, and destroyed them!" the lady shouted before throwing hands.

" Ow! Ooh! Ow! Ow!" Naruto cried out.

" Ma'am?" Aceso asked.

" Oh, Aceso dear," the lady said with a smile as she looked at her. " All my herbs have been pulled by this monkey. I'm afraid it'll have to wait a little longer."

" Understandable" Aceso smiled.

" Why can't you be nice to me?" Naruto complained.

" You were the one that pulled my plants!" the lady yelled. Aceso giggled.

Later that day Aceso had left the hospital after doing surgery, she was walking and reading a book at the same time. She heard a bird chirping, she looked up to see an eagle circling.

" Hey, Aceso," Sasuke greeted, she stopped walking.

" Done with training already?" Aceso asked.

" Kakashi has to go file our lastest mission," Sasuke answered. " See you later."

" See you later," Aceso agreed as she continued to walk, Sasuke looked back at her, he found it odd that she wasn't falling over him like all the other girls, it was a nice change, then he continued on ahead. As Aceso walked, she looked up to see a Sakura and Naruto standing on the street. She then saw a square box moving, it started to follow Naruto.

" Hello Sakura," Aceso greeted.

" Good day at the hospital?" Sakura asked.

" Some difficulties, but overall decent," Aceso answered. 

" That's the worst disguise of all time!" Naruto shouted. " There's no such thing as square rocks! It's completely obvious!"

" You saw through my camouflage again," a kid said, Aceso walked over leaving Sakura by herself. " You're slick, boss. Just what I'd expect from my greatest rival." The box shined brightly and smoke appeared, three voices were coughing. All had goggles on. It was Konohamaru, Lord Hokage's grandson, and his friends.

" I think we used a little too much gunpower, you guys," Konohamaru suspected.

" Who are your friends, Konohamaru?" Aseco asked as she stood next to Naruto.

" I'm Moegi," the little girl informed. " The sassiest kunoichi in preschool. Check me out!"

" I love algebra. Call me Udon!" the boy with snot coming down his nose said.

" And I'm the number one ninja in this village," Konohamaru stated. " Konohamaru! And when we're all together--We're the Konohamaru Ninja Squad!

" Yeah, I knew it was you, Konohamrau," Naruto stated.

" Lies," Aseco denied, and the kids giggled.

" Hm, hey, what are those things?" Naruto asked noticing the goggles. " Those goggles you're wearing on your head."

" You used to wear goggles, remember?" Konohamaru asked. " So we're copying you!" Naruto grunted. " Hey, come on boss! Why are you being all like that? You oughta be more excited!"

" So...did you want something?" Naruto asked.

" He's just trying to be cool," Konohamaru assured the other two.

" You know what we want," Moegi confirmed. " Are you busy now?"

" Hmm...I have to train. Believe it!" Naruto informed.

" What?" Konohamaru demanded. " But you promised that you would play ninja with us today."

" You shouldn't break your promise Naruto," Aseco advised.

" I don't recall saying that," Naruto laughed as he rubbed the back of his head.

" A ninja playing ninja?" a voice asked, they looked over to see Sakura dragging herself over to them. " That is so twisted."

" Uhh!" Naruto jumped. " Hey, Sakura."

"Hey, boss, who is that girl anyway? Why is Doctor Matsuba here?" Konohamaru asked, he quickly came to a conclusion. " I get it. You're a smooth operator, boss."

" Uh..." Naruto breathed looking down at him.

" Come on, I know that they're your...girlfriends," Konohamaru concluded as he stuck up his pinkie finger.

" Aceso isn't girlfriend," Naruto denied. " She's my sister."

" Sister?" Aseco asked as she furrowed her eyebrows. 'He said that on the Land of Waves mission as well."

" Huh?" Sakura asked angrily.

" Sakura on the other hand...Well, you could tell she's really crazy about me, huh?" Naruto asked as he blushed.

" That's it!" Sakura screeched before plummeting in the face with her fist, sending him flying into the fence.

" Boss!" Konohamaru shrieked before turning to Sakura angrily. " What kind of a girlfriend are you?" The other two kids ran over to Naruto.

" I think she cracked him," Moegi admitted.

" Oh, no!" Udon gasped. " We gotta check his pulse!"

" Come quick Naruto's sister!" Moegi cried. Aceso went over and knelt beside Naruto and checked.

" He's fine," Aceso said as Naruto began to groan.

" You're a witch!" Konohamaru insulted Sakura. " And you're ugly too!" She cracked her knuckles angrily, and Konohamaru yelped.

" Hmph," Sakura sighed angrily as she walked away after beating up Naruto and Konohamaru.

" Hey, Konohamaru, are you okay?" Udon asked. Both boys groaned getting onto their feet.

" I don't even think she's human," Konohamaru complained as he felt his head. " Did you see how wide her forehead is?" Sakura stopped walking, they all gasped and looked at her. She robotically turned around with an evil look on her face. They all whimpered, Moegi hid behind Aceso. Sakura growled and started charging toward them, they all yelled and began to run away. They stopped when they collided with someone, and Konohamaru went flying back.

" Aah!" He cried out as he fell back. They stopped and looked to see a boy with a headband from the sand village and a weird hat, that reminded Aceso of cat ears, and purple make upon his face. Next to him stood a girl with spikey blonde hair, they stared down at him angrily. The both of them seemed oddly familiar, but she couldn't place where she had seen them before.

" Do you need something?" the guy asked.

" Sorry about that," Aceso apologized.

" Oh, you'll be sorry alright," the boy agreed as he picked up Konohamaru by the scarf. Held him in one hand.

" Konohamaru!" Naruto cried out.

" So does this hurt, punk?" the boy asked.

" Put him down, Kankuro," the girl requested. " Or you know you'll pay for it later."

" Hey, I'm sorry," Sakura apologized. " The whole thing was my fault."

" You better take your hands off him right now!" Naruto demanded angrily as he raised both fists.

" We got a few minutes before he gets here," Kankuro said. " Let's mess with these punks, huh?"

" Let go of me, you jerk!" Konohamaru cried out as he swung and kicked the boy's chest.

" You're feisty, but not for long," Kankuro smiled.

" Please put him down, Mr. Kankuro," Aceso requested as she stepped forward, but Naruto put his arm out stopping her, snarling.

" Put him down!" Naruto shouted as he charged toward the boy. The boy did a one-handed Jutsu and Naruto fell back screaming.

" What the--what was that?" Naruto demanded.

" You're a Leaf genin too?" Kankuro said with disrespect. " Looks like your village is full of wimps."

" The only wimp here is Aceso," Sakura stated.

" Yeah, that's me," Aceso admitted as she waved her hand. " Can you please Konohamaru down?"

" Konohamaru!" Moegi and Naruto cried out.

" Konohamaru!" Udon cried out.

" Hey! Cut it out!" Konohamaru squealed as Kankuro raised his hand higher. " It hurts!"

" That's it!" Naruto shouted as he jumped to his feet. " Drop him now, or I take you apart! You go that, fool!"

" You're the fool!" Sakura shouted as she grabbed Naruto and choked him. " Making threats isn't going to help, Naruto!"

" You're annoying. All of you," Kankuro sneered.

" Just put him down," Aceso pleaded as she started to walk over to him.

" Get back Aceso!" Naruto cried out.

" I'll be fine," Aceso brushed him as she got closer.

" I don't like runts or any scrawny weaklings," Kankuro said as he raised a fist, glaring at her. " So when a wimp like this starts shooting off his mouth..."

" Ow!" Konohamaru cried.

" I just wanna break him in half," Kankuro smiled.

" Fine," the girl sighed, giving in. " I'm not involved in any of this, okay?" Aceso put her hand out and Kankuro smacked it aside.

" First, I'll take care of this little squirt," Kankuro began to list. " Then I'll waste the other one." 

"Mr. Kankuro, please," Aceso said as she put out a hand. Kankuro went to smack it away, she grabbed it, then slammed her fist into his stomach. He doubled over a bit dropping Konohamaru in the process.

"Stronger than you look," Kankuro smirked as he regained himself, he grabbed Aceso's collar. "Let's see how tough you really are." He drew back his arm, getting ready to hit her.

'This guy is stronger than he looks as well,' Aceso thought to herself.

" No!" Naruto cried out running forward. Suddenly there was a strike and bloodshot everywhere. Kankuro let go of Aceso. Kankuro groaned as he grabbed his bleeding arm, they looked down to see a pebble on the ground. They looked up to see Sasuke in a tree.

" You're a long way from home and you're way out of your league," Sasuke stated as bounced another pebble in his hand.

" Sasuke!" Sakura cheered, Aceso stepped back, digging into her back for medical supplies.

" Naruto!" Konohamaru shouted running towards him.

" Oh, great," Kankuro groaned as Aceso took out ointment and bandages. " Another wimp to tick me off."

" Get lost," Sasuke demanded as he crushed the pebble in his hand. " Step away from him Aceso, he doesn't deserve your help."

" So cool!" Udon, Moegi, and Sakura squealed, Kankuro looked at Aceso to see she had medical supplies in her hands.

" How come you're not cool like that?" Konohamaru demanded as Naruto groaned. " Huh?"

" Ah, what do you mean?" Naruto asked as he knelt down. " I could have taken that guy out in two seconds flat."

" Hmph!" Konohamaru breathed in disbelief and looked away. Naruto snarled angrily.

" Hey, punk, get down here," Kankuro requested as he looked back up at Sasuke. " You're the kind of pesky little snot I hate the most. All attitude and nothing to back it up." Wrappings fell into the air.

" What?" the girl demanded. " Are you gonna use the Crow for this?" He put down the thing with hair he had on his back.

" Kankuro, back off," a voice said, Aceso jumped she looked up to see a boy upside down. He had seafoam green eyes with no pupils, black eyelids, love carved on his forehead, and brownish, reddish hair. He carried something on his back. He seemed familiar to Aceso, she couldn't place where she's seen him before, but he was oddly familiar as well. " You're an embarrassment to our village." Everyone gasped.

" Uh...Ah...Hey, Gaara," Kankuro greeted. Gaara was in the same tree as Sasuke, on the other side, and on a higher branch. The boy's eyes moved to look, at everyone else.

" He kind of reminds me of you Aceso," Naruto informed.

" Uh, thanks," Aceso smiled as Aceso and Gaara looked at each other. Her brain was really fuzzy, an image popped into her head, but it was too blurry to make out.

" Except Aceso's hair is a more bright red and her eyes are a darker shade of green," Naruto said.

"Hey...you are right," Sakura blinked as she looked between the two.
