Everyone remained to look at each other, mainly at Aceso, Kankuro, and Gaara.

" You're an embarrassment to our village," Gaara repeated as he looked back at Kankuro. " Had you forgotten the reason we came all the way here?

" I know," Kankuro recalled. " I, I mean, they challenged us. They started the whole thing, really. See here's what happened."

" Shut up," Gaara demanded coldly. " Or I'll kill you."

" Ah, right," Kankuro agreed. " I was totally out of line. I'm --I'm sorry, Gaara. I was totally out of line."

" I'm sorry for any trouble he caused," Gaara apologized as he looked at the others. Sand appeared, making him disappear then he appeared on the ground, he was right next to Aceso. " Let's go. We didn't come here to play games." Then at that moment, Aceso recalled what was happening, the Chunin exams, that would explain why outsiders had come.

" All right, sure. I get it," Kankuro agreed. The boy seemed smaller on the ground, but still taller than Aceso. She came right to his shoulder.

" Hold on!" Sakura yelled as they began to walk away. "Hey!"

" What?" the blonde girl asked as they stopped walking.

" I can tell from your headband that you come from the Village Hidden in the Sand," Sakura noticed. " Of course the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind are allies. But no shinobi can enter another's village without permission. So state your purpose. And it better be good."

" They do have permission to be here," Aceso corrected.

" Step aside Aceso, the real ninja's are talking here," Sakura ordered.

" She's right," the girl said as they turned to face them. " Have you guys all been living under a rock besides Aceso or what? You don't know what's going on, do you? As your friend said, we have permission." She held up her permission slip. They all gasped. " Of course, you're correct. We are hidden Sand Genin. Our home is the land of the wind. And we're here for the Chunin exams. Get the picture?"

" The Chunin exams?" Naruto explained. "What's that?"

" They happen at least twice a year," Aceso answered.

" Well, I've never heard of any Chunin exams, believe it," Naruto declared.

" I believe it, all right," the girl agreed. " That you're totally clueless."

" Hey, boss!" Konohamaru called. " Those are the exams every Genin's got to take in order to graduate to being a full-on Chunin."

" Oh, well why didn't you say so?" Naruto asked. " I am so there!"

" Hey, you," Sasuke called as he got on the ground. "You! Identify yourself!" He stood beside Aceso now.

" Hm? You mean me?" the girl asked turning around.

" No, him," Sasuke corrected. " The guy with the gourd on his back."

" Huh?" Kankuro asked as they both turned around.

" My name is Gaara of the desert," Gaara answered. " I'm curious about you, too. Who are you?"

" I am Sasuke Uchiha," Sasuke answered with a smirk. A gust came through, moving around some leaves, pushing past people's hair.

" Hi, there! I bet you're dying to know my name, right?" Naruto asked cheerfully.

" I couldn't care less," Gaara admitted. They turned around and jumped away.

" Hey, Konohamaru, do I seem uncool or something?" Naruto asked as the two knelt together.

" Well, compared to Sasuke, yeah, you're pretty lame," Konohamaru admitted. Naruto groaned loudly.

" You're not going to show me up, Sasuke!" Naruto yelled.

" Hm. Back off, loser," Sasuke laughed.

" How do you even know about those exams, Reddie?" Sakura asked as she put her hands on her hips.

" I've been in them for the past few years," Aceso asked as she looked at her.

" Yeah, right," Sakura scoffed.

" I'm not in there to retest and become a Chunin again, I'm just there to help with medical assistance," Aceso explained. " This year, I can use my chakra healing ointment."

" What happens in them?" Sasuke asked.

" The Chunin exams are divided up into three parts, you have to pass one to move on to the other," Aceso explained. " I normally don't come in till the second part." Sasuke and Sakura both walked away.

"Naruto, you know that you're not my brother right?" Aceso asked.

" Huh?" Naruto asked looking at her.

" You called me your sister earlier," Aceso reminded him as she looked at him. "As well as back in the village at the land of waves."

" Well, neither of us have families," Naruto pointed out.

"I have two dads," Aceso said. "Not biological but they are still my dads. But I'll take you on as a brother."

"Great!" Naruto laughed. "As of today, I am adopting you as my sister!"

" I don't think that's how it works," Aceso informed.

" As I care," Naruto laughed. " You are my new sister and there is nothing you can do about it." Aceso gave him a small smile.

The next morning, Aceso showed up at a door with a couple of medical supplies in her hands, she knocked on the door. It slowly opened, revealing the sand villagers from yesterday.

" What do you want?" Temari asked as they glared at her.

" I just want to know if Kankuro's arm is all right," Aceso answered. " I didn't get a chance to treat it yesterday."

" I'm fine," Kankuro said roughly.

" Oh ok," Aceso breathed as she turned around.

" Are you going to test at the Chunin exams?" Temari asked.

" I'm a Jonin," Aceso answered.

"You a Jonin?" Kankuro asked with disbelief.

" Well a Jonin medical ninja to be clear," Aceso answers with a smile. " My fighting skills could use some work, but I have excellent medical skills." She then held out her hands. " Here's some bandages and healing ointment if you need it."

" Aren't you going to need it?" Gaara asked.

" Nah," Aceso asked. " We have so much at the hospital. I have quite a stash in my room actually."

" Doctor Matsuba!" a voice shouted, followed by screaming. " Doctor Matsuba!!"

" We need you for an appendectomy!" shouted another person. " We need you for surgery!" Aceso looked back at the others will a small smile.

"A what?" Kankuro asked.

"Appendectomy, someone's appendix must have burst," Aceso answered. "I'll see you guys later."

"What exactly are you going to do?" Gaara asked. "Provide assistance?"

Aceso looked at him. "I'm the doctor."

"But your a kid," Temari pointed out.

"Doctor Matsuba!" Another voice shouted. "We have a gluteal situation, struck by an arrow!"

"I was really hoping I didn't have to do butt surgery today," Aceso frowned as she looked over to the sound was coming from. "I will see guys later," Aceso smiled as she looked back at them. "I have a couple of surgeries to do. "She dumped the supplies into Temari's arms. " I'm Aceso Matsuda by the way." She then ran off to go help with the surgery. Gaara laughed, the other two jumped, and he quickly went back to a killer look on his face. The other two looked at each other with weird looks before closing the door.

Aceso spent most of the day doing the two surgeries, both a success, After she cleaned up and she was sent to the building that contained the first Chunin exam. She was to take her chakra healing ointment. Aceso walked in and opened the door to see Anko Miarashi breaking in through the glass, she had kunai knives sticking some cloth into the ceiling. Ibiki Morino was watching along with everyone else.

" Is this part of the test?" Naruto asked as his eyes went wide.

" Heads up boys and girls," Anko began. " This is no time to be celebrating. I'll be your next proctor, Anko Mitarashi. You ready for the second test. Good! Then, follow me as soon as my helper shows up!"

" You're early again," Ibiki informed.

Anko smiled weakly, trying to play it off. She then scanned the room. "How many are there?"

" You've gone soft Ibiki," Aceso stated softly, everyone looked at her.

"Aceso!" many voices shouted, she jumped and saw Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke looking at her in shock.

" You let all these guys pass?" Aceso asked as she looked back at Ibiki.

" Your test was too easy," Anko agreed. " I agree with Aceso, you must be getting soft."

" Or it could be a stronger crop of candidates this year," Ibiki suspected. They looked out among them, Aceso saw a few familiar faces including Gaara and his siblings. She saw a guy in a green jumpsuit, with shiny black bowl-cut hair, and black eyes. His cheeks drew color when they made eye contact, she moved her eyes upon the others. Some of the leaf testers were familiar from when they came to the hospital or just passing by them in the village.

" Hm. They sure don't look it," Anko voiced her opinion. " Trust me, before I'm done with them, more than half will be eliminated."

" Huh? More than half? Really?" Sakura asked.

" This is going to be fun," Anko laughed. " All right, you maggots have had it easy so far, but things are going to be different starting first thing in the morning. I'll let your squad leaders know where you're to meet me. Dismissed."

" Wait!" Sakura shouted. " What is Aceso going to do?"

" Doctor Matsuba provides medical assistance, and she just invented new medicine a week ago or s," Anko said with a smirk, the others looked among each other. " She's a Jonin medical ninja, after all, After the second test, you will be crawling to Aceso to heal you."

" What is this medicine?" Temari asked.

" She invented it when we brought her along for a mission," Naruto explained. " It's a healing ointment, that also increases a bit more chakra into you. Helped me a lot." Everyone started to murmur amongst each other. Aceso looked at her feet, she didn't like to receive a large amount of attention like this or be the center of attention.

" And if any of try to bother her tonight about it, you'll regret it," Ibiki warned.

" As I said before, you're dismissed," Anko smirked. Everyone got up, leaving the room and their tests.

That night Aceso was getting ramen with Anko and Ibiki.

" Are you ready for tomorrow?" Anko asked.

" Yes, but I just hate being in that place," Aceso answered.

" You'll be fine," Ibiki asserted. " You are going to have a ton of Genin rushing towards you for that medicine."

" Only if it's needed," Aceso reminded. " Too much chakra can disrupt the body's circulation, putting it into a comatose state."

" You never fail to amaze me with your medical talk," Anko talked. " You should come on more missions outside the village."

" Oh no," Aceso denied. " Those are for real ninjas."

" You're a real ninja," Ibiki reminded her.

" Not really," Aceso denied. " Sakura's right, all I do is stay in the hospital."

"Along with going on the Chunin exams to be medical assistance," Anko added. "Plus a lot of the procedures you do are on injured ninja."

" Don't listen to Sakura," Ibiki advised. " You're a ninja and only you can change that."

" Thanks, Ibiki," Aceso smiled at him.

" Eat up," Anko advised. " Tomorrow is a big day."

" Yes, ma'am," Aceso nodded before returning to her bowl of ramen. When Aceso returned back to her room, she saw Naruto sitting on her bed. " Naruto?"

" What took you so long little sister?" Naruto asked with a laugh.

" I was getting some ramen," Aceso answered. " Why are you here?"

" I want to try on your jacket," Naruto requested,

" Huh?" She asked as she tilted her head.

" You got a jacket for when you became a Chunin right?" Naruto asked. "If I wear it for a minute it'll help increase my chances of becoming one."

" Sure," Aceso smiled. She closed the door, went over to her closet and pulled out her jacket, and handed it to Naruto, he happily put it on.

" How does it look?" Naruto asked as jumped onto his feet and looked in the mirror. " This is so cool! Believe it!"

" You look well on your way to being Hokage," Aceso laughed, Naruto froze and looked at her. " What?"

" You really believe I'll become Hokage?" Naruto asked.

" I think you'll make a great one too," Aceso answered. He smiled at her.
