Chapter 1

Huey sat across from his youngest brother, a bit nervous as he was eyed by him. They had long gotten home from school and it was now late, Dewey, along with the rest of their family, was fast asleep.

"So, Hubert, you have a crush on our brother." Louie stated, his arms crossed as he leaned back in his seat.

"U-um, yeah..." Huey muttered.

"Since when?" Louie continued.

"Freshman year..." The red triplet stated.

"Why?" The youngest asked.

"Um, w-well, it's just.....I don't know Louie, he's, he's just so amazing in everything he does, sure, he's a bit, reckless, and I think it's adorable whenever he messes something up. He's always been there for me whenever people would tell me things, not to mention the countless times he's said that he loved me, even if I knew he meant it in a brotherly manner."

"You know you'll never have a chance with him, right?" Louie pointed out.

"Yeah, I-I know..." Huey muttered.

"Not just because you're brothers, but because he's straight, you know that right?" The youngest triplet questioned, looking his older brother in the eye with a raised eyebrow.

"Huh? I-I thought he was bisexual. He told me himself when we were sophmores last year." Huey pointed out. "Did he, tell you he was straight?"

"No, I, I just assumed he was, since he's not very social anymore and hardly talks to anyone but us." Louie explained.

"Well, he said that he was bisexual, so, I might, have a chance? The only thing keeping us apart now, is, o-our blood..." The eldest triplet looked down sadly. How he adored his younger brother, they had always gotten along perfectly ever since they were born, not including the occasional brotherly quarrels, but that was besides the point. Huey loved Dewey and would stop at nothing to tell him one day, even if that day was far in the future. The red wearing teen knew that one day, the live he had for his brother would fade away, or turn into jealousy when he got with someone else.

"Huey." Louie called out softly, noticing that his brother had gotten lost in his thoughts. "Look, I know what I'm about to say is, morally wrong, and it would make our family freak out, but, I support you, and, if you want, I can give Dewey the notes you write for him."

"Really? That'd be a lot easier than stalking his locker all the time, making sure he isn't near it." Huey looked over at his youngest brother with hope in his eyes.

"Yeah, but I want ten bucks a note." Louie averted his gaze to a wall. He didn't actually mean what he had said, but, if his brother obliged, then it'd be a win win.

"Lou, please don't beg me for money, just get a job. Besides, we're brothers, and brothers are supposed to look out for each other."

"Okay, fine." The green clad teen grumbled. "So, do you have a note ready for him for tommorrow?"

"Uh, y-yeah. I actually do. Let me just find it." Huey stood up and went over to his desk, since they were both in his room. He moved a few papers around before finding the small note. "Here."

"Can I, read I it?"

"Go ahead, just, don't make fun." Huey went to go sit on his bed, watching his brother read the note, hoping he wouldn't make fun. Louie read the note to himself, smiling at what it said.

"This is really sweet Hue, and romantic." Louie claimed, handing him the note back.

"Thanks, but, t-to be honest, I found it online. I'm not really that great at romantic stuff on paper, it's different in person though." Huey explained.

"That's strange, it's usually the other way around for most people, but whatever."

"Hey, can you, give this to him tommorow, Lou?" The eldest triplet extended the note back to his brother.

"Sure thing, do you want me to tell you how he reacts?"

"No thanks, I'll wait till next Wednesday." Huey shook his head softly as he spoke.

"Why? Don't you want to know if he reacts in a good way?"

"Well, I'm actually confessing next week, up front, it might be a bit awkward, but, I'm willing to risk it, my dignity and the respect he shows me, all to tell him that I love him."
