Crazy
November 30th-
Jessica got out of work early and pulled Olivia out of school for her doctors appointment. Olivia's had her cast on for two months now. The doctors said it was time for her to get if off and start physical therapy.
When they got to the hospital they removed her cast and cleaned up her foot.
"Look how gross it is!" Olivia cringes as the nurse removes the bandages from the surgery.
"Have you found a physical therapist yet?" The nurse ask politely.
"Owe! That really hurt." Olivia bites her bottom lip and holds onto the table.
"I'm sorry, honey." The nurse backs away.
"No, not yet." Jessica sighs
"I recommend Dr. Daniel Huston. After my husbands accident he went there and he helped so much. He's a great doctor and a great guy." The nurse says happily.
Olivia huffs and looks at the nurse. "He's not that nice."
Jessica taps Olivia and widens her eyes. "Don't be rude." Jessica says sternly
"Excuse me?" The nurse giggles giving a Olivia a silky look.
"He's not that great. He's my dad, believe it or not. Olivia... Olivia HUSTON." Olivia chuckles
Jessica became embarrassed and tried to motion Olivia to stop.
The nurse glances at Jessica's wedding finger then back up really quickly.
"There are a few more doctors in his building. Doctor Nixs, he's great too." The nurse says awkwardly.
"We will look into some and start her on therapy next week." Jessica says softly.
"Great, I'm going to put you in a boot. Though it is a walking boot, your doctor prefers you to not walk on it and continue using crutches. If you feel comfortable, you can put some pressure on it, but not too much. How does it feel?"
"It hurts a bit, the exercises you had me do helped."
"Continue those at home and I'll see you in a month."

On the way home Jessica was flustered. She didn't like what Olivia had said. She wished she had just stayed quite.
"What's wrong?" Olivia looks over at her mother as she drives home.
"Why would you say that about you dad?Couldn't you have went without saying anything?" Jessica says sternly
"Sorry, it just came out."
"Try to get ahold of your dad, we need to get you a therapist."
"My dad? I haven't talked to him since he left. What makes you think he wants to talk to me?"
"Liv, maybe he's just been afraid to call... I can't afford a therapist. And I don't want to pay for one if your father can do it with no charge."
"What if I'm afraid to call him?"
Jessica sighs. At the red light she turns to Olivia.
"I get that it may be hard, but you and your brother have to talk to him sooner or later."
"I- I just can't forgive him. For what he did to us, and to you."
"You can't stay angry forever, it's not worth it. He's your dad, he loves you. But today at the doctors office you were being very rude about the therapist being your father. I didn't raise you to be snappy, don't let it happen again."
"Well it's rude to cheat on your wife and leave!" Olivia covers her mouth as he light turns green. She looks away from Jessica.
Jessica never really thought the kids knew about the affair. They did, they just didn't want Jessica to know. The day Danny left, the kids herd Jessica yelling at Danny about it. The day Danny left was now a blur to Jessica from the shock she was in.
"Olivia, he didn't cheat." Jessica says bluntly
"Yes, yes he did mom. Sean and I herd."
"From who? Who would come up with that?"
"You. The day he left, you were yelling at him from upstairs about it."
Jessica and Olivia pulled into the driveway and Jessica stopped the car. She turned to Olivia and shook her head.
"There was no affair... He just wasn't happy with me anymore. People change sweetie. We drifted apart and weren't the same people that we were twenty years ago."
Jessica unbuckles her seat belt and gets out of the car. Olivia grabs her crutches and goes inside.

The next day at dinner//
"So, how was everyone's day?" Jessica says twirling her fork into the spaghetti.
Olivia gives Jessica a thumbs up as she chews her food and Sean playfully bangs on the table.
Jessica looked at him and giggled. "So, was your day good or bad?"
"Great! I got a new job. A better job, as a waiter! They pay extra, no more cleaning dishes! I wait tables now and get tips." Sean shook his head in excitement.
"Oh congrats Sean! What restaurant?"
"The Steak House."
"Fancy, that used to be your father and i's-" Jessica stopped.
"Never mind.... I'm happy for you, bud." Jessica gives him a soft smile.
After dinner the three of them started cleaning up. As they were cleaning up Jessica's phone rang.
"Kids, this is work. I have to take it. Do you mind finishing up here?"
"Yea, no problem mom." Sean smiles as he rinses the dishes and Olivia drys them.
Once Jessica left the room Olivia got Sean's attention.
"She's going crazy." Olivia whispers
"Who? Mom?" Sean chuckles
"Yes!"
"How so?" Sean continues not paying much attention to Olivia's accusation.
"I accidentally said something about the affair. She totally denied it. What if she's in denial?" Olivia whispered loudly
"Olivia, maybe she was denying it because she wasn't suppose to know that we know. Can't you keep your mouth shut? We promised grandma we wouldn't say anything." Sean throws the dishes in the sink and gives Olivia a stern look.
"It just came out. I didn't realize it until after I said it. But now that I think about it, did dad really cheat?"
"I think, I don't know. Let's just not talk about it. I don't want her to hear. But she's not going crazy!"

The next day//
Jessica was in her office. She just got out of the court room when her mother called.
"Hey mom, just the person I wanted to talk to." Jessica says walking back up to her office.
"Ahh, Jessica! What's going on?"
"Did you tell the kids about the affair?"
"No, of course not."
"Then how does Olivia know? I don't want the kids knowing."
"Jessica, if I knew I'd tell you. They must have figured it out on their own."
"Ah shit." Jessica sighs
"I'm sorry..."
"It's fine. But hey, I have to go to a meeting I'll call you later?"
"Alright honey. Maybe you and the kids can come over for dinner?"
"I can't tonight. I'm working late, Sean's starting his new job, and Olivia's staying at a friends house. Is Saturday good?"
"Yes! I'll see you then!"
**
That night Olivia stayed at her friend Faith's house. Jessica was caught up at work late, and Sean was starting his first night at his new job.
SEAN'S POV//
"Hey Sean, I need to leave early to go take care of my dog. Do you mind taking my shift?" His co-worker Eric says
"Uh, sure. No problem."
It was Sean's first night and he was already overwhelmed.
When he finished waiting on his tables, Eric's tables had customers being seated. Sean grabbed some menus and walked towards the booth and set the menus down.
"Sean?" A deep voice asks
Sean picked his head up with a smile on his face. He looked at the gentleman and that smile soon left his face.
"Dad?"
