*Bhairavi Pov*

"Are you sure about this, Colton?" Alastair questioned him and I too sat in the anticipation of his reasons for choosing this step.

"Yes! Within these few days I wandered around and found that I actually like this Kingdom. I was always very enthusiastic when you used to talk about any modernized things and now seeing it with eyes, I do not want to go back." Colton explained glancing at me and I nodded.

"But this is a very big step to take, Colton." I pointed out.

"I know! I am not asking you to take me in a direct way. I found out that you are going to give away a competition to choose your second minister and I want to participate." He mumbled.

"If Gavin is doing bad things at Nadir then you could rule that place than just being minister to this." I uttered.

"Let me be fair, Your highness. We all are a bunch of people who were living with minimal touch with other people from other land with a conception that Council is the bad guy. But it turned out they have their opinions and we had ours. I am not proper for to be a ruler, but I want to fight as yours and Kingdom's protector." He uttered and I sat in stunned not knowing what to even say to him.

"Do you really want to stay here forever?" We heard a new voice breaking the silence.

We all turned to see Jacey is standing near the workroom with a frowned expression. I gestured her to come inside and she did, but continued to stare at Colton.

"Yes!" He replied normally.

"Then I will also stay here." She mumbled and glanced at me.

"You need not do that, Jacey. Your parents need you and that makes it reasonable for you to leave." Colton mumbled not looking into her eyes.

"But..." she started to say which he cut her off saying "I do not care whether you stay or not but it shouldn't be for me."

"But I like you and maybe more." She whispered in a low tone.

"I do not!" He mumbled with which she walked away without a second glance.

"What was that?" I questioned him with a frown.

"What?" he questioned back.

"Do you really not like her?" I retorted.

"I am younger to her. We have an age difference between us which is not acceptable." He replied frowning.

"Then this stupid thinking is not acceptable to this Kingdom with which you are not eligible for participating any competition." Alastair uttered beating me off.

"What?" he asked us in shock.

"Yes! When a man of more age can be with a younger woman then why can't the same happen in reverse if their hearts want it." I questioned to which he looked down.

"It is just not that. Her parents were our King and Queen and I do not want to hurt them." He mumbled.

"You do not want to hurt them, but want to hurt the girl who likes you." I stated.

"And where were these questions when she took so much care of you?" Alastair questioned him.

"I know I am being stupid." He finally uttered.

"That is an understatement. Now go and have a word with her and then return to this room to know our decision." I ordered to which he scrambled outside.

"Today I had the first day of training the warriors of Agatha." Alastair started the conversation.

"I know! Ravi informs me everything." I mumbled, not staring at him.

"Fine!" he mumbled back, sighing and I glanced up to see him looking at the papers in deep concentration.

*Jacey Pov*

I brushed my tears away, but they continued to fall and I ignored the looks of care coming from many soldiers walking in the garden.

"Jacey!" I heard all to familiar voice, but I ignored him like he did all this time.

"I am sorry!" He whispered, sitting beside me.

"It is fine! The rejection is not a new thing for me. There will be someone else and let's hope that he will also not reject me." I whispered.

"There will be no one else." He mumbled.

"Yeah! I am the evil person here so how can anyone like me right." I uttered brushing away the fresh tears.

"I am younger than you." He pointed out.

"Of course! I am older than you." I mumbled wishing he stops his words right this moment.

"Your parents will be angry at me." He pointed.

"Ok!" I simply whispered, getting his words which are being used instead of his thoughts about not liking me because of me.

"However, I really like you and got the brain to ignore all those things." He finished his words but I frowned trying to understand him.

"What?" I questioned, turning to look at him.

"What!?" he asked back before pressing his lips to mine and I sat stunned for a few seconds before returning it.

"You really like me?" I questioned him when he released.

"Yes! My Pal sent some brain of hers to me. I never thanked you for taking care of me." He replied smiling.

"I never wanted you to." I mumbled before kissing him myself.

"You will be a good minister." I uttered when we stood up to leave for the workroom.

"I know! And I wish you to be here with me." He uttered smiling at me.

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else." I mumbled and we both stepped inside the room to see both of them stealing glances at each other without the other noticing them.

"They both are stubborn." I whispered.

"Tell me about it." He whispered back before clearing his throat.

"Everything is fine now?" Alastair questioned.

"I am sure it is the way you both are holding hands. Are you ready to hear the decision?" Bhairavi asked and we both nodded.

"You can leave with Ravi everyday for training with the Council. I officially grant you to be the other minister." She uttered.

"There is no competition?" Colton asked her.

"Just remember to be loyal to the Kingdom and me. And also do not jump into any conclusion for taking any decision before knowing everything clearly." She replied with a half glance towards Alastair.

"Definitely!" Colton replied and we both walked outside.

"She will never stop taking a dig at his mistake, I guess." Colton whispered to me.

"It is her right! Do you know how humiliating it is to hear the words he uttered infront of all the people she get to know in the less time? I would have slapped him for sure." I said shaking my head.

"Then I should be beware." He whispered teasingly.

"From my father for sure." I pointed out and all the teasing left his face.

"He will extinguish me." He whispered and we continued to walk near to my parents chambers.

"I have something to say to you." He mumbled, standing before my parents.

"What is it?" my Father questioned him.

"I asked Bhairavi to let me participate in the competition for another minister, but she made me one directly." Colton replied.

"Oh! We thought after settling the issue in Nadir, you can be the King to it marrying my Daughter." My Mother mumbled making both of us look at her in shock.

"What?" we both questioned them.

"We would have not forced you both, but would have given a choice." Father immediately added.

"I love you both." I whispered, smiling at them.

"I want to ask her hand in marriage, but not this moment. After I proved to be good at what I am going to do." Colton mumbled still in shock.

"You will have our blessings. Now all I need is to not have a big problem at Nadir like my heart is saying." My Father whispered and I too wish for the same.

*Alastair Pov*

"We have a problem." Bhairavi said, standing up after reading a message she got few moments back.

"What is it?" I questioned her getting up myself.

"I will tell you after reaching there." She replied and we both walked towards the guest chambers.

"Gavin shook the hands with the pirates and now the land is under their control." Bhairavi uttered, making all of us stun in our place.

"That is not all. They sold all the livestock in the land and burned down the farming part making all the people live in hunger." She added.

"Oh lord! We should have never left the land." King uttered with a defeat on his face.

"What would we have done even if we were there? Now we need to think about what should be done to save the people." Queen uttered and we all nodded.

"I will send a few numbers of ships right this moment and get all the people away from there before we lose anyone's life." Bhairavi mumbled and stepped out of the room.

"Are you also feeling guilty for coming away from there, leaving it in Gavin's hand?" Colton questioned me but I didn't reply.

"I feel guilty." I slowly replied after a few moments and Colton's eyes widened a little.

"I sent for them and do not worry. Few warriors too left for their safety to bring them back." Bhairavi said, stepping beside me making me understand why his eyes widened.

"But where can all the people live. They need to have a place and can't disturb your people." King mumbled.

"I will think of something. For now we have to pray for their safety." She mumbled and took her leave and I followed her.

"Bhairavi!" I called after her, but she ignored me until she reached the workroom.

"I have lots of things to do to prepare for their return. I need to think about their apparel's and food to be made for them and also the shelter." She continued to babble pacing the room.

I stopped pulling her into my arms and she didn't fight my hold. She didn't hug be back, but atleast she is still for sometime.

"I am guilty for that, but if I can stay there and prevent that and lose you then I am not feeling it at all. You are important for me. You are my heart while they are my duty." I mumbled rubbing her back.

"Ok!" she simply whispered, but still stood in my hold.

"I love you." I whispered back pressing a kiss at the top of her head.

i have other plans for nadir and their people... So there is little pov of jacey and little effect from bhairavi...

Pray for chennai guys... it is in really bad shape and hope the next disaster doesnt even touch it or any place... pray for it...
