*Bhairavi Pov*

As I was in the middle of contemplating the words uttered by Alastair who is standing before me, he crushed his lips to mine while I asked him to repeat the words again making me still in my position.

He pulled me near to him and plunged his tongue inside holding my face and I felt like I am about to fall down either due to confusion or due the feel enveloping me from inside.

However, I know for a surety that he shouldn't be doing this and I shouldn't be allowing it so I pushed him away, taking him with surprise and stared at him while he stared back with a victory look.

Then I glanced behind him to see all the people around and from the food place walked outside and are staring at the scene along with Colton. He did it with an audience, making me feel the rage towards him forgetting whatever the flutter of feeling I felt towards him.

"How dare you?" I questioned stepping near him.

"What?" he questioned back in confusion.

I pulled out the sword he had near him and pointed out at his neck asking "How dare you to disrespect me infront of the people and kiss me like that?"

"Alastair!" Few people called for him walking near us, but he stopped them showing the hand.

"I kissed you because I wanted to and there is no disrespect in that." He replied staring at me.

"It is a disrespect when you are doing it to a woman who is unmarried. Do you really think so low of me? Why are you hell bent on ruining me?" I screamed at him with tears brimming in my eyes.

"I don't know what you are talking about, but do not cry." He replied, reaching for my eyes, but I pushed the sword to touch his neck with it.

"You are mine, Bhairavi. If doing this stunt with an audience is not acceptable to you then I apologize for that, but I will not for the kiss." He added and I shook my head wanting to run away from here.

"You cannot do that to me. You have no right at all." I screamed again tightening my hold.

"I have every right." He retorted with an impatient look.

"And I have every right to slash your neck for doing this." I retorted to his retort and heard many gasps from behind him.

"Go ahead!" he challenged and I shook my head, mumbling "I have ethics."

When I started taking back the sword Gavin walked near us saying "She threatened your life, Alastair. She should be either punished."

"Fight me!" he challenged still staring at me.

"With pleasure." I accepted pointing the sword.

He took Gavin's sword and stood calmly making me take the first strike which he blocked with his sword. All this time he never glanced away, making me remember his kiss.

"Why are you angry at me? Is it because I shout at you or because of this?" he questioned in the middle of the fight.

"You shouldn't kiss someone who has no relation with you and ruin her virtue." I replied not losing the concentration on the fight.

"But we have a relation." He uttered, making me frown but I ignored his words.

"When did that happened?" I asked him still with the frown.

"When you became the keeper of my heart." He replied when I was about to take a large strike making me stun in my place which he took advantage of it and out the sword at my neck.

"It is true, Bhairavi. You became the keeper of it so we have a relation through it right." He uttered, taking a step near to me with each word and held my hair with his other hand.

"You are jesting." I mumbled, coming out of my another shock for the day.

"I am not! I can prove that to you again." He mumbled, pulling my hair, making my head move to look into his eyes.

"How?" I questioned him in a whisper.

In the next moment I am being lifted by him into his arms after he threw Gavin's sword to him and walked near to his hut while I just stared into his eyes with lots of questions and then a warmness making me scared of everything.

After entering inside, he locked the door and laid me on the cot, making me come out of the stance. I tried to get up and move away, but he stopped holding my hand while taking the sword away and slowly laid beside me.

"How is this going to make me believe you?" I questioned him in confusion while trying to take my hand away with a little effort shocking myself.

"Close your eyes and do not open them no matter what happens until I ask you to." He replied and I did after contemplating for a few moments.

"Just forget about everything in your mind and concentrate on your heart and only that." He slowly whispered in my ear and placed his lips on mine again.

I wanted to open my eyes, but I didn't wait and understand what is he actually talking about. He slowly started nibbling my lips making my hands to move, but I fisted them to my side.

This time it was slow kiss opposite to the one outside and he pulled me more to him making me gasp, giving him a chance to plunge into the tongue.

In that moment I didn't stop my hands, making them circle around his head and clutch his hair returning the kiss slowly following him. Within minutes it went from slow to passionate and when he suddenly released me a moan of displeasure left from my throat making me feel shock at myself.

"What did you feel?" he questioned while I continued to close my eyes.

I felt your care and hesitation in the beginning and then the passion enveloping you for me. Is it how love makes you feel? I thought slowing down my breath.

"Do you still think I am jesting?" he asked and I shook my head in negative.

"Good thing!" he mumbled before crushing me again with his lips and this was beyond the before one making me confuse how can that be possible.

"I will go and see to that they will not speak of the incident again." He slowly mumbled before untangling himself and left the hut while I laid on the cot with my eyes still closed.

*Alastair Pov*

After leaving the hut with a grin that she believes me and even I believe that what I have for her is love which was in the unclear form before this incident.

I glanced at the food place and saw all the people still in their places with shocked looks on their faces while Gavin is fuming and Jacey is copying her brother.

"She is with me in real from this moment. I want everyone to not put the incident forward and continue the day, forgetting about it." I ordered them and they all nodded.

When they all left I turned towards the sibling and said "You both have my gratitude for making me realize my feelings for her. I will never forget your help."

"Feelings? I sure hope you are not serious. She is from outside land and we don't even know who she is. What if we all went through the same phase because of the low act of the person who wants to destroy us?" Gavin questioned making me still in my place.

"Now she belongs to this land. She is mine and will be given the same respect like I get. I have trust on her that she will not put this land in danger." I replied before turning to walk away.

"Alastair!" I heard Colton calling and turned to see him running near me.

"Did I hear right? Did you kiss her?" He asked frowning.

"Yes!" I replied, nodding.

"She must be angry at you." He mumbled to himself.

"Now she is fine with it and we are together now." I said in a hard tone hoping that he will realize she is mine.

"Wow! That is really a great thing to hear. She cares for you Alastair and you are lucky to have her." He said, slapping my shoulder with a grin before walking away.

I walked inside the cot to see her sitting on the cot, but with her eyes still closed, making me smile at her. I sat before her slowly and placed my hands on either side of her face.

"How can you be fond of me?" She calmly questioned making me frown.

"How can I not? You are beautiful, passionate, brave, caring and to top that you are mine." I replied pulling her to me.

"I never thought that love happens between two unmarried people." She mumbled with a frown.

"It can happen between anyone and do not feel less that you thought like that because until you I thought there is no love at all." I uttered making her slip a smile on her face but she hid it in the next moment.

"You shouldn't love me." She whispered, making me frown.

"Why?" I asked her lifting her head, but she is not opening her eyes at all.

"I do not belong here and will leave someday." She replied.

"What if I do not allow you to leave? And you belong here from the moment I showed my affection before my people." I replied.

"You do not understand." She said, groaning and covered her face with her hands.

"Then make me understand what is your problem." I said not letting her say that what I am feeling is wrong.

"That will be another problem." She said and I sighed.

"You are mine only, Bhairavi. I do not know what is it that stopping you, but I know that even you feel it. I will give you the time you need, but there is no other option for you." I said before pecking her lips removing her hands seeing her eyes open and left the hut.

I entered the chamber to see King and Queen with Gavin and Jacey. They all nodded at me and I nodded back. I stood before them understanding that they already must have got the air to the incident and need my view.

"One cannot be kept in this place when we know that they can hurt a person's life." Gavin stated.

"Do you have anything to say about this. Alastair?" The King asked, staring at me.

"It is a lover's spat, Your highness." I replied and he smiled but composed himself.

"He is the future King and how can she be his lover when she can be a spy or some danger for us." Jacey questioned.

"Today I am taking the full responsibility of her and vow that if she turned to be the one who is here to hurt us then I will punish her with my hands. Until then, no one has a right to say anything to her or point out." I negotiated and King and Queen nodded.

"The matter settled then." King uttered, and I nodded, smiling at them before leaving the chamber.

Everything is in place except this woman accepting her feelings for me and where will she go without accepting. I will not leave her until she realizes it.

there can be few mistakes as i didnt checked it.... i know everyone expected a slap but well the sword at neck point is more of Bhairavi as we can see ;)
