Chapter three
Autumn's POV
She walked through the city unknown. Leaving her job with iced coffee in her hand. Autumn has new friends, still trying to find a date to meet up with her old ones. She found a way to fake her death, so she will get out of the school. Promising herself to not be in touch with the survivors until she found a date. When the killer prawled at her, she didn't really die, making it look like she did.
After Hunter and Kylo dumped her body in the dumpster, she waited for them to leave before searching for something to cover up the blood. Finding some clothes from the other dead bodies. Once she wrapped herself where the blood spilled out, she cautiously peeked out from the dumpster for the others walking by, before getting out and booking into the nearest house away from the school. The people let her in to get her fixed up as best as they could once they called an ambulance. She ended up in the hospital for two weeks of the injuries she received. Autumn told the doctors and nurses a very long story of how it happened. They did say that there was a force field that will kill anyone in shock, but they lied.
Now she's up and walking everywhere. Autumn loves what she does for a job. Admiring the view of the city, she walks home in the dark. Entering the quiet neighborhood of Aspen Glen, Autumn walked sipping her coffee.
Once she got home, unlocking her front door, finding herself in the dark place. Switching the lights on revealing the nice house. Autumn paces to the kitchen grabbing a snack, a banana. Going to the living room, she switches the TV on to her favourite show of all time. Playing on her phone while listening to the show. In the middle of looking on instagram, her phone dings. It's not someone she knows, she checks it out anyways. Might be something important. Checking it out for her curiosity, a mysterious number showed. Reading the text gave her a shock. A shiver raced through her spine. She could hardly believe it. Tears filled her eyes. Her mouth gaped open, hand over it. Starring in surprise, Autumn finally snaps out of it. Clicking off messages, glancing up at the tv before shutting it off.
Walking up to her room crying. Autumn doesn't want to go back to Whiterock and do the killings all over again. She made it out of there without anyone knowing, now she has to go back and relive it again.
Who else would she be doing this with? Will she live this one again? Are the survivors from before going to be there? Millions of questions ran through her mind. Curling up in her blanket made her a bit better, but not fully. Crying in her pillow for what felt like two hours. Even though she wasn't there for long. From what she's seen . . . It's a horrible sight. It took her over three years to recover both physically and mentally. Calming down a bit, she layed in bed turning on the tv. After watching a bit of tv, Autumn calmed down completely, almost falling asleep. In four days, she will be off to Whiterock where all the nightmares will start up again. Will continue.
Making new ones. New people, new killers. Three days to go for a free life. Tomorrow when she goes into work, she'll tell me that she won't be here for two weeks, maybe longer. It's getting late, turning off the TV and falling into a deep, deep slumber.
In the morning, Autumn got up bright and early. Getting ready for her work, with a white blouse, tight black knee high skirt, black high heels and her brown hair in a tight bun. She planned to tell her boss that she won't be coming for the next couple of weeks. Instead of walking in the early morning dew, Autumn gets in her car and drives off to her work place. Hitting almost every green light, Autumn made her way to the parking lot. Walking inside, she makes her way to her boss's office. Knocking on the door, waiting for the signal to come in.
"Come in."
Stepping into the small room, he looks up from his desk, smiling an evil smile. His scruffy dark hair covering his forehead.
"How can I help you, Autumn?" he said in his deep, scruffy voice.
"I won't be here for the next two weeks." Or more.
"Oh? Where are you going?"
Taking a deep breath, letting a heavy sigh escape before answering. "I will be heading to this game at Whiterock, and will be there for two weeks. I may not be present after that. I'll have to survive a killing spree."
"Oh? Well thanks for letting me know."
Leaving the office, Autumn moved onto her work for the day. Throughout the day, her mind would always jump to the killings in the past. She hopes she lives through this one and does not get slashed like last time. Working hard until her break came, Autumn walked to the cafeteria soundlessly eating her lunch. Her coworker tried to strike up a conversation, so she asked what's wrong before Autumn started from the beginning.
On the way home, Autumn drove quietly, radio off. Only being Saturday, she could stay up a bit. Only three days left until Tuesday, she couldn't sleep if she wanted to. Autumn got out of the car, walking inside. Grabbing dinner, she walked upstairs. Laying in bed watching the tv. Not long enough before Autumn fell asleep from a busy day last day.
