Sunrays and Coffee

Tehreem was brainstorming on her assignment; she was on her laptop late at night. Haider was asleep and she was stressing over the fact that she had submit this that day.

"Tehreem get some sleep and do it in tomorrow" said Haider in his sleepy voice.

"It's 1 so technically the next day and I need to give this today" said Tehreem in an annoyed voice, she could hear Haider groaning.

Tehreem put on her headphones and played some soft music to calm herself and do things productively. She was trying her best to concentrate on her work, but she was getting sleepy. She kept her head on the table and her eyelids were getting heavy.

"Ouch" said Tehreem and bolted up; she felt her arm getting burned. She saw Haider standing next to her chuckling, he had kept the mug in his hand on Tehreem's arms.

"Stop Sleeping, have this coffee and get back to your work" said Haider and Tehreem nodded with a soft smile, she felt unknown feelings by his sweet gesture. Haider went and pulled in a chair next to her, keeping her company.

Haider did not let Tehreem sleep until she finished her work, He talked with her while she was doing her work and the coffee worked for a while. Haider went to take a scale for her to draw margins, when he came back, he saw her sleeping on the table.

He decided to let her sleep since she was done, He slowly picked her up in bridal style and he felt her snuggle towards his chest. He smiled at her gesture, and she was so calm in his arms. He slowly placed her in the bed trying to not wake her up from her sleep.

He went towards the table and drew the Margins for her assignment, he completed the small works left and he went to sleep. He felt asleep as soon as he laid in the bed, he was very much tired.

He felt the sunrays hit her eyes; he opened his eyes to not find Tehreem next to him. He looked up to meet her eyes, she was stacking the papers. She turned towards him with a smile, he did not realise how much he was used to her until he did not find her next to him that day.

"Good morning Mr. Khurrana," said Tehreem.

"Morning Mrs. Khurrana, did you finish your Assignment" asked Haider.

"I did thanks to you, Thanks for carrying me to the bed and also for the magical coffee" said Tehreem and Tehreem gave him a cup of coffee with a smile on her face. Haider took the cup and started sipping it.

"I know It's not as good as yours, yours is just too good but I made this so It's not even near yours" said Tehreem and Haider gave her a questioning look. He likes the coffee very much; it was different, and he liked it.

"What?" asked Tehreem seeing the questioning look.

"This is really good; I love it and you should make this often because this is too good" said Haider genuinely and Tehreem nodded.

"I can consider that if you make often too," said Tehreem.

"Deal" said Haider and shook Tehreem's hand, both smiled at each other.

"Anyway, I'm leaving" said Tehreem and left.

Tehreem had returned, it was evening. He found Everybody sitting in the backyard with a coffee. She informed that she reached, her eyes met with Haider's eyes, and he held the coffee mug forward.

"Did you make it?" mouthed Tehreem and Haider nodded a yes.

"I'll be back fast" said Tehreem with a smile and left.

This conversation did not get unnoticed by Hina, Hina told Saaz and Sarah about this in whispers. Haider went and poured a mug for Tehreem and He met Tehreem on the way. She smiled at him and took the mug from his hands.

"Thanks" said Tehreem.

"Don't forget to keep your end of the deal," said Haider.

"I won't," said Tehreem.

They went to the backyard and joined his family. They all talked and had fun, Haider got a call and left to take it. Hina smiled at Tehreem and Tehreem smiled back at her.

"It's been so long since he went to the kitchen to even make Coffee for himself, I've no doubt that you're the reason that he made coffee for all of us" said Hina and Tehreem had a soft smile on her face.

"You bring out the chef in Haider" said Sarah dramatically and they all chuckled.

The sun was shining bright, and Tehreem was groaning, she had overslept, and Haider had left since he had classes that day. Tehreem was free so she decided to make herself some breakfast. She was eating her toast and she heard her phone ring; she took the call.

"Yes" said Tehreem while munching her toast.

"Are you eating?" asked Haider and Tehreem hummed a yes.

"Anyway, I need your help," said Haider.

"What's it?" asked Tehreem keeping her toast aside.

"I kind of forgot my assignment at my table so it would be great if you could bring it to me" said Haider and Tehreem sighed.

"Why do you forget stuff? Seriously why does everyone forget to take their assignment and asks me to bring, I just need to know the reason" said Tehreem and Haider chuckled hearing her rant.

"Please Tehreem," said Haider.

"Fine" said Tehreem.

Tehreem went to the room and changed into something formal, she decided to visit her parents after giving the Assignment. She went with a simple look and took his assignment. She went with the driver. She texted Haider to meet her and she got of the car.

She stood outside the Gate and the security guard let her in since she had visited their plenty times with Areeka, by now they recognised her. She went inside and she was Haider walking towards her in surprise and she smirked at him.

"How did you get in?" asked Haider.

"Here is your assignment and to answer your question, I've come here plenty of times that the security is familiar with me" said Tehreem with a smirk and he took the assignment.

"Thank you so much for this" said Haider and Tehreem smiled at him.

"What do we have here" said a guy and Tehreem turned towards him, she had recognised him. Tehreem rolled her eyes at him.

It was Rehaan, Tehreem had heard from Areeka that he and Haider has some problems due to several reasons. They constantly bickered each other, Rehaan taunts Haider, Haider gives a fitting reply, and they shoot back at each other, creating a scene.

"Hello Mrs. Haider Khurrana also known as Haider's ex's sister that is Areeka's sister," said Rehaan.

"Stay away" said Haider in no mood for a fight, Tehreem was clutching her fist tight.

"How rude am I? Mrs. Khurrana I am R-" said Rehaan but Tehreem cut him off.

"I've no interest in knowing your name," said Tehreem.

"Haider, you've got yourself a feisty one unlike the other one, who is very timid and easily intimidated" said Rehaan with a smirk.

"Stop talking Sh*t about my wife and Areeka" said Haider, He did not want to create a scene in front of Tehreem because everything between them was problematic and he did not want Tehreem hurt in anyway because of him.

"Haider went soft after marriage" said Rehaan and Tehreem clenched her fists but she controlled herself.

"Do you have a problem with than and Even if you have a problem with that, no one gives a shit" said Tehreem with a fake smile, she started walking away.

"We have the timid sister here now" said Rehaan.............
