Chapter Eight

Siya

I frowned as the loud music hit my ears and broke my sleep. 'Aah!' I looked around to the unfamiliar surroundings of the room but before my thoughts could wander any further I heard him speak. Sooraj! I woke up with a start as my thoughts wandered back to the beautiful dream-like reality that had just happened in this very room. It bought a smile to my face instantly and I looked dreamily at Sooraj who was busy talking to someone with his back faced towards me. I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't realise his call coming to an end, that was until he turned around to find me looking at him with a dazed and dumb-founded expression. His smiled, his ever charming one, the one that got a dimple on his cheek and made me go weak in my knees. That definitely managed to get me out of my trance and I blushed deeply before looking away. I could feel him sit right next to where I sat, 'Don't look away. Not today. I love the colour that gets onto your face when you blush.' I was sure whatever colour my face was displaying this statement would've definitely made it a tinge darker even and I refused to look up at him. He chuckled on that and gently raised my chin with the help of his fingers. 'I cannot believe that the strong independent girl that I had met long ago is indeed you!' I opened my mouth and displayed playful fury at that and smacked him lightly on his chest. He engulfed me in his arms laughter echoing throughout.
'Who were you talking to this early in the morning?' I asked him rather in a muffled sleepy voice
'Early morning?! I've been up for quite long now!' He pulled me away a bit so that he could look at my face before continuing, 'when a beautiful smile was pasted on your lips and your face, so peaceful was dreaming about us together, running away from the world in a faraway land! '
I laughed at his choice of dramatic words, 'You just lacked the acting my love.' We laughed at that together.
'Hmm, you managed to change the topic this time, but who was it anyway?'
'Why do girls need to know everything about their guy? Who do they talk to? What do they eat? When do they sleep? Did I ask you what you were dreaming about?'
I sighed out quite loudly, 'You're a pain. So much drama, I'm sure there's nothing to it then. Must be Rohit who else!'
He narrowed his eyes at me rather mischievously, 'You're naïve darling. You never know a guy's mind, never trust your guy Siya.'
I retorted back with equal mischief, 'Okay. I will be a pain from now on then and question your every move. Let's start, why're you sitting here with me in your arms?'
He looked at me dumbfounded.
'What? I'm trying to know a guy's mind!'
He pulled me in for a hug. 'It was Rohit. And because I love you.'

I guess my heart must've literally skipped a beat after hearing that, wait did he really say it? No I guess it was just my day dreaming again. I just managed to shook my head and snuggled closer to him. The rhythm of his heart beat bought a faint smile on my lips once again.
'Siya?'
'Umm?'
'Did you not hear what I said?'
I jerked out of his arms like the speed of a bullet fired from a gun, 'You said that?'
His eyes I saw wandered all over my surprised face before he put a strand of my hair gently behind my ear, a smile played on his lips the entire time. His hand rested on his cheek lightly, 'What if I did?'
I looked into his eyes that clearly reflected what I felt for him. There was no hint of fear in them today. No hint of withdrawal. It was pure love, I smiled after a very long time, a smile I was sure that had reached my eyes today. I guess I literally crushed him when I engulfed him in my arms.
'Ouch! Siya, do you want to think about it again? I do want to literally die in your arms even though I may have said it indirectly.'
I pushed him away hard in playful anger. 'You're horrible Mr. Sooraj Kapoor. You took so long to accept your love and now that you have you say mean things on the same day!'
He chuckled out loud at that, 'I took long enough, I'm sorry my love.'
There should definitely be some law on the excess use of tenderness used by guys to melt away a woman's anger.
'I'd be right back, hold onto that smile will you?'
My forehead immediately crinkled as I thought about the abruptness of his movement. With nothing to do, I got up and stretched my body as I moved to look out of the nearby window.

I got lost into the vastness of the sea that lay before me. The waves splashing on the rocks as they touched the shore. I did not even hear Sooraj enter back into the room, not until he gently held me with his hands resting on my waist. I smiled as I felt his chin rest in the crook of my neck. My body trembled at his proximity. I shuddered as a shiver passed down my spine when his husky voice spoke into my ear, 'Where's my baby lost?'
'I could wake up to this scene every day.'
'I didn't know I was that irresistible, but I'm glad to hear that?'
'Always in a dream world. I never said I wanted to share this view with you sweetheart!' I laughed out loud as I pushed him away from me.
I watched him as he scratched the back of his neck with him hand, the other one placed on his hip, 'And here I was making breakfast for my sleeping beauty.'
I looked in shock to the full tray that he had placed on the study table next to me, Two glasses of mango juice, a sandwich with a smiley face made up of ketchup on it and cornflakes. 'You made it?'
He nodded at that like a small child who was complimented for his work. I took the tray and sat down with it on the bed. Without further thought I dug into the sandwich and I heard my stomach growl with hunger.
'Is.. ..ery ..sasy..'
'What?' He looked at me questioningly, as if I had just caught his mistake.
I laughed at his weird expression as I swallowed my bite, 'I meant it is very tasty.'
'You know I haven't had anything since I woke up as well.'
Oops! I looked at the half eaten sandwich in my hand and moved it towards him, 'You can have a bite of this, here!'
He smiled as he sat next to me and had a bite of that sandwich.

He offered to even take the tray back, when I requested that I get to do that at least he smiled and said that he wanted to treat me like a princess so all I had to do was sit peacefully. I was smiling the entire time he was away, only to be broken by the thoughts of an incoming message on my phone. It was by an unknown number. The message just plainly said -

Some secrets do not die out. And some cannot be hidden forever. Now that you both are one, there's something that you'd probably want to know. Rather you should know. You walked out on me the other day, I understand. You succumbed to his charm, nothing new. I just hope you do not follow my sister to the grave as well. There are some dark secrets about your boyfriend that lay hidden at the moment. Walk out of his house right now and meet me in hour where we last met. I hope by now you do know who this is.

Note: Sorry for the inconvenience, but had to alter and sort out a few things before coming up with the next part. The next one won't be a long wait! I hope you like the story so far.
