Another quick update. Sorry for mistakes, I'm planning to fix them later.

Megatron growled in anger as he stormed through the Nemesis. Every mech moved out of his way as the Warlord made his way to the throne room. He'd known all along- Soundwave had been keeping secrets.

Though the communications officer was cleaver, he was not perfect. He'd left the humans belongings right there in the middle of his berthroom. In state of panic, he had taken the human with him, but not the evidence.

Why did his most trusted Decepticon feel the need to disobey him? Of course, he always had a reason. He'd gone against Megatron's orders before, but not in secret. The communications officer often moved without meaning too- just as he'd done the night he'd brought the human femme with him. He had pulled her away from him despite knowing he wanted to have his fun.

"Knockout!"

"Y-yes my liege?"

The medical officer waited as requested in the throne room, nervously awaiting his arrival. "I found his signal, my liege, along with something else that is very interesting. "

Megatron sat on his throne while Knockout slowly gained his confidence and continued, "Soundwave's energon signal was found alongside synthetic energon. Which is incredible, since I failed to retrieve it from that Autobot-"

"I need not be reminded of your failures, Knockout." Megatron snapped.

"M-my apologies. Not long after that, a red energon signal was found. It is gone now, but it approached Soundwave. Now, Soundwave's energon signal is completely gone. It happened within a span of five minutes. We located a groundbridge that belonged to the Autobots-"

The warlord clenched his pointed servos and hissed in anger. "Continue to search for his signal, Knockout. If the Autobots are apart of his disappearance, out intelligence is completely in their hands!"

Or worse, Soundwave would join the Autbots.

Unlikely, though his previous actions and secrets revealed otherwise. But still, yet, he dispised Optimus Prime. Nothing could change his processor about that. Not after he 'killed' his sire.

A wicked smile crossed Megatron's face platings at the memories.

Yes, Soundwave would always be under his control. And he would never know the truth. The communications officer would rather offline himself than join the Autobots.

"Report to me immediately if his signal comes back online. If it is true that the Autobots have captured Soundwave, he will require assistance."

He would save his most trusted soldier. But, of course, punishments would be necessary. No bot could hide a secret from the Warlord. Third in command or not, Soundwave would pay for his secrecy and manipulation.

Megatron would make sure of that.

Lynlee could barely move a muscle. Everything hurt. Her ribs throbbed with such intensity, she wondered if they were fractured yet again. Soundwave had taken so much time and care trying to nurse her back to health, and now here she was at square one again.

Soundwave.

The girl shot up immediately, suddenly more awake than she had been before. A sharp pain shot through her body and she grimaced but held her tongue. Her eyes frantically scanned the area around her.

What had happened? Where was Soundwave? Why wasn't he here with her?

She wondered if this was some form of Stockholm Syndrome.

Alien robot style.

She is kidnapped and held against her will, and now she longed for a familiar face. Despite that face being completely made of metal and covered with a visor. It wasn't her fault- being alone with her mother over the years made her feel completely vulnerable.

Years of isolation held such a large tole upon her that she never wanted to leave her tiny house in the woods, even when her father died. Her mother was everything to her up until the moment she too passed away.

Was that what Soundwave was now? Her caretaker? Though he had taken the girl against her will, she felt safe enough with him. He didn't let Megatron kill her. He protected her and cared for her when she was injured.

Heck, he even spoke to her.

Lynlee had no idea what significance that fact alone truly meant, but she did realize that it was a giant leap from the Soundwave she first met. He was just beginning to indulge in conversation with her, and the two even shared some personal past events.

Now she felt crazy, trying to make the fact that she was becoming independent on her kidnapper an OK thing. Normal, even.

A dark chuckle sounded from somewhere around her.

Lynlee jumped and yelped. Around her, the room was dark. Almost too dark to see the large figure standing before her. The giant silver robot before her grinned from across the room. Or, should she say, the cave. It was huge, with insanely tall walls and glittering rocks.

Bundles of red rock stuck out here and there, glittering so bright that she had to squint and look away. There were also large machines surrounding her. Much like what she'd seen Soundwave work upon back when she had first been captured.

Is this supposed to be a secret hideout?

"I see you are awake, pest." the voice hummed. Though the voice sounded chipper, there was something darker in his tone that made Lynlee shiver in fear. Right, the giant metal robot. She'd almost completely forgotten about that while within her thoughts.

"W-what do you want?" her voice trembled slightly, but overall she was proud at the brave front she was trying too hard to push forward. How many times would she be the weak link in these situations?

But when the robot stepped closer towards her, Lynlee threw her brave facade away and attempted to move away. Sharp metal fingers moved inched away from her face, making the girl squirm. The grin on his metal face widened.

"Pathetic creature. The Autobots are fools for protecting such worthless creatures."

Autobots?

Suddenly, the sharp finger punctured the skin on Lynlee's face and she cried out.

"What I want, human, is the energon. Where is it?" That same finger continued to slowly slide down her face, and she felt blood trickle down her neck. The pain was bearable, but she feared what was to come if she didn't do as he commanded.

"I don't know what energon is." She admitted softly. "Soundwave never told me-"

"Don't lie to me."

A scream tore from her throat as she was suddenly snatched from her spot and swept into the air. Excruciating pain filled her body as she was slowly being squeezed in the robot's hand. She tried to beg for him to stop, but it was getting hard to breathe.

"I-I am not l-lying. I don't know-" a strangled sob escaped her lips, "I don't know what you want! Please, stop!" Something inside of her cracked and she let out a loud sob. Warm tears streamed down her face as the monster before her grinned.

"As much as I want to have my fun, human, I can see that you do not have what I request." His pointed finger tapped her chest. "It was here before when I tried to take you, and now it is not. Which could only mean Soundwave had it. That wretched third in command."

Soundwave had what? Lynlee tried to think back when this familiar robot first tried to take her at the graveyard. At the time, she wore her mothers necklace, and it had sat upon the middle of her chest. That couldn't be it, could it?

Why is everyone so insistent on taking my mother away from me? What is so special about that necklace?

"Oh, well. This setback is anything but a failure. If anything, I would say things are starting to work out perfectly in my favor." Starscream began to squeeze again, and sneered at Lynlees pain scream.

"With the Omega keys, I will earn back the favor of Megatron. And he will happily accept you as a gift. Oh, how my master loves to taunt Optimus Prime with human pets."

Here it was again- everything Lynlee had learned so far seemed to rotate around Megatron and Optimus Prime. Who was Optimus? Megatron was a monster- a spawn of hell itself. If Optimus was the enemy, then that would make him the good guy, right?

Except for the fact that Soundwave thinks he killed his sire.

But her dream proved otherwise. What if it was all some sort of misunderstanding?

Questions rushed through her mind, but that same pain flew through her again and it suddenly became hard to breathe again as Starscream began to squeeze again.

"For now, I think I will have my fun with you. Megatron does not require you in one piece."
