I decided to try and post more than one chapter since I took so long to update. I know the chapters seem to be more filler and going nowhere, but I wanted to make this book longer like my other one and take my time with it. I hope you guys have been liking it so far. I'll edit mistakes later.

Hope you Enjoy

Ratchet huffed in frustration as he stared at the empty berth before him. It was times like these when he felt as if Optimus was his own sparkling, sneaking off in the dead of night despite his orders. Of course, he was never really the one to be respected in that sense as he wasn't the leader, but he was the medical officer. A medical officer who, if need be, could overrank his commanding officer if he was in poor health.

In this case, Optimus was very much so under his authority.

He wouldn't take any energon, recharge, and was constantly out searching for clues to whatever happened to that child he'd been so determined on saving just a few weeks prior. His lack of recharge and care for his own body led to several sedations- ratchet would never forget the glare Optimus gave him every time he woke up from being drugged.

Though, it did make him laugh.

Something Ratchet did little of these days. In these times. Times of chaos, and war.

Watching his leader get loopy and stumble around while falling into unconsciousness did bring a smile to his face platings.

He had to sedate him for the fifth time this week. He was getting careless, and Ratchet knew the only recharge he got was forced upon by his own hand. But now, he was gone. Optimus was missing. He'd only left him for a few hours, thinking the sedative would last far longer.

Arcee held her servos on her hips as she stared at the screen in front of her. Ratched growled and stepped forward, already realizing where Optimus has gone to as he read the contents of the screen.

"You know, you can't force a leader to stand down." Arcee gave a bemused chuckle as the others gathered around them.

"How is that possible? The formula was destroyed after it left my mind." Bulkhead tilted his helm while Bumblebee whirred in an agreement.

"I do not know how it came to be, but I do know that he needs backup. If it is true that this is synthetic energon, it can be used for our good. But so could the Decepticons-"

"So we need to save boss bot." Wheeljack stated, seemingly coming out of nowhere. He stood leaned against the wall across the room, a small smirk on his face. "It's been a while since I've pounded some dents. Too long, if you ask me."

"Jackie!" Bulkhead laughed and held no hesitation as he moved to greet his fellow wrecker. "You back so soon?"

"I still cannot comprehend how you manage to make it sneak in without my noticing." Ratchet grumbled. Wheeljack grinned and shook his helm.

"Can't get rid of me, doc, no matter how hard you try. How about we save the leader, huh?"

Arcee rolled her optics, though she was grinning by now as well. "I doubt the leader needs saving, but we should make sure the Decepticons don't try anything. We ready to roll?"

Bumblebee was already transforming, and he revved his engine while the others followed suit. Ratchet huffed while rolling his own optics and preparing a groundbridge. "Wheeljack, for the love of the Allspark, please don't destroy any more human facilities. Fowler will have our helms."

"Wouldn't dream of it, doc."

Ratchet snarled while they passed through, "Do not call me that!"

When the groundbridge closed, he glanced back towards the screen where the synthetic energon was located. Much to his surprise, the small beacon began moving. It was on the move. An uneasy feeling entered his being.

Either Optimus already retrieved the source, or the Decepticons did.

They would not survive this war if the other side got there first. Let alone this planet.

"Be safe, Optimus." Ratchet mumbled.

Lynlee tossed and turned in her sleep. She could feel the hands again, grasping at places no one had ever seen, let alone touched, other than her. A scream was stuck in her throat as darkness surrounded her.

She could no longer see him, but she heard him as he chuckled close to her ear.

"Know this, little one, the war will be over soon. Though I regret not being able to take you with me as my own, know that I will rule over you, even after you are with the Allspark."

Suddenly, she could hear buzzing and her body became limp as she felt herself being dragged. The noises got louder, and she wanted to fight it- she wanted to run away and hide- but she simply couldn't. Everything was numb. Everything was limp. She couldn't even feel herself breathing.

Voices in the background shouted, but she could not reply.

The voice snarled in anger. "You will not step another foot- less you want your sparkling to perish along with her."

Something slammed against metal, and Lynlee felt the need to jump in fear. Suddenly, her body was being dragged upwards, as if ascending to heaven, and she could see everything. It was Him.

Megatron.

A smaller form was in his hands, and he laughed as he twisted around, hurling the figure up and away. There was dust and blue fluid everywhere. Beside him, a large black mass was formed. The form did not cry out or plea, but instead dropped like a rag doll as it fell into the abyss.

The buzzing returned, and metal screeched. Lynlee screamed again, covering her ears as pain engulfed her entire being. She wanted to be home. She wanted to be with her mom. Not here, among robots and death.

Fear crept up her body as another figure, almost as large as Megatron, stepped forward. It was dark in color, though her eyes were too blurry to make out any further detail. Megatron chuckled while raising his arm.

A sinister smirk was plastered over his face as he taunted, "Truly, better than any other I experienced before. Well done, Razorwing. I applaud you."

A roar sounded. It was filled with pain and anguish. Tears filled her eyes at the mere sound of it.

"You will pay for this, Megatronus!"

Megatron, or Megatronus, chuckled while a dark red ball of light flew from him. It struck the dark figure in the chest and he fell backward in pain. It struggled to get up while the monster himself took his time walking forward. His other arm twisted and turned until is transformed into a sharp blade.

"Know this, Razorwing- your side will lose. The Decepticons along are worthy of ruling this pathetic planet. You will fall with your leader."

A scream sounded as the blade was brought down into his chest, then swiped across his arms. They fell at his sides and blue liquid began to flow out everywhere. Lylee screamed again and covered her mouth, feeling her body jerk as bile rose in her throat.

He's a monster.

She was just beginning to realize what Soundwave saved her from.

"Megatronus!"

"Ah, Prime, please do excuse the mess- though it seems you were not as offlined as I thought you were. You will soon be joining the Allspark with Razorwing and his sparkmate."

Optimus struggled to step forward, and Lynlee shut her eyes, faintly remembering this same figure taking three shots to the chest in a previous dream. He was the one from before- the one who had tried to save her.

"You will pay for your crimes with energon, Megatronus."

"Please, Prime, do call me Megatron. As it seems you too have abandoned your name, Orion." He sneered, "Times change, Prime. This world is gone, and I will build it up from the dust as its new leader."

"Never." Razorwing growled, suddenly springing up. With great force, he struck Megatron in the face with his foot. Pain was evident on his face as he collapsed forward. Before he fell, something detached from his back and a large flying metal creature screeched.

Lynlee's eyes grew wide in recognition as it slammed against Megatron's head, and then shooting bright purple balls of light similar to Megatrons. He cried out as he was struck in the face again, and his body tilted to the side in pain.

Optimus took his chance, charging forward with his sword, and jarring it deep into Megatrons stomach. A cry of pain left his lips and he immediately pulled away before transforming.

"No!" though he tried to aim, he was getting dizzy again as he stumbled to the side and fell next to Razorwing.

Megatron took off towards the sky, retreating back to his army.

Lynlee watched as Optimus struggled to stand and help Razorwing up. Without arms, the other robot could do nothing but cry out in pain and smear the blue liquid all over Optimus.

"It will be okay, solider. You will survive-"

"We both know I cannot survive through something like this, Prime." Razorwing whispered with a grimace. "And I do not wish to see another day without my sparkmate. Did he-"

Optimus lowered his helm. "Yes."

A cry of anguish the robot's lips. "We were expecting."

Optimus recoiled, but Razorwing held on. "I want no part of this war any longer. Call me what you might, a coward- but I cannot do it without her. Please, allow me to be with the Allspark."

"You cannot expect me to-"

"Take care of my sparkling. Do it, Optimus. Allow him to fight for our side. He will be useful. But please, do not see me like this. Not like this-"

Lynlee heard a ringing in her ears, and everything became muffled as the two continued to speak. Optimus finally nodded, taking the other robot by the torso and painfully dragging him away- towards the dark pit close by.

She heard the buzzing again, louder than before, as Optimus finally stood Razorwing up straight and looked in the eyes. Razorwing smiled softly and nodded his helm.

Suddenly, the small flying robot came out of nowhere, diving towards optimus and attacking.

Razorwing shook his head, and it immediately stopped before twisting around and flying in the opposite direction. She turned slightly, wondering where it could be heading too, when she heard a third voice over the buzzing.

"Sire!"

A sharp pain filled her skull, and Lynlee cried out as darkness surrounded her yet again. Pain spread throughout her body.

The hands came back, grasping at her arms and shaking her. She screamed out again, unable to get the sound out of her ears. It was growing louder and louder-

Suddenly, she was jerked to the side, and a bright light filled her eyes. Lynlee squinted in discomfort and immediately raised her hand to her face. Her cheeks were wet with tears, and she trembled as she slowly lowered her hand again.

The hands grasping her arms loosened their grip, and she tensed- too afraid to look up. She was afraid to look up and find the face of Megatron sneering down at her again. Tears left her eyes and she whimpered as the hands shook her gently.

With much hesitation, she peered up to find Soundwave staring down at her.

A gasp of surprise left her lips and she was immediately relieved- but her heart was still pounding in her chest. Soundwave seemed to notice as well, because he gently sat her up and pulled her body closer to his.

Her cheeks warmed immediately but overall she really didn't mind as the terrors from her nightmares still flew through her head.

What did it all mean? How could she even know about any of it? Was it even real- did it actually happen?

There were so many questions flying through her mind, but one thing was certain. Through the pain and chias, Lynlee was able to make out one thing.

That voice. The one that quivered and called out for his... his sire. She recognized it. She saw him as she'd turned around.

It was Soundwave.

Soundwave had been there, crying out for his sire.
