This must be one of my favorite writings.

We looked at the map. We were completely lost and it was getting dark. Then it started to snow, which would only slow us down, and make the whole situation even more dangerous.
"Great." Rachel sighed. "That's just what we needed."
Lee, one of the guy in our group walked up to her and told her that we have enough supplies, and that we only need to find a shelter. Our previous one had been overran by.. Walkers.
None of us has got used to these things existence yet. The only things we know about them are that they die when they're shot in the head, and that they feed on people. Sometimes, our people, too.
"Guys, look!" Alice, an eleven year old girl pointed at a cabin.
"Keep your voice down, Al!" Rachel, her older sister scolded her.
After a long silent walk to the cabin, we separated so that we could check for any walkers.
Lee and I would be the ones to see if it was safe inside. "I tried telling you all not to let Kyle handle the map." Lee whispered while we were entering. Kyle is another person in our group of survivors. He's 19, with a bad attitude that is not loved by anyone, but we still remain united in order to be safer. "He was the only one that had a compass with him. I was skeptical about him too, but we can't really do much abou-" I stopped when I saw one of them sitting on the floor. "Lee?" I whisper and nod towards the walker.
After finishing with the cabin, we went out to find the others because we thought we heard something, but except for Kyle, they were nowhere to be found. "Where's Rachel and Alice?" Lee said while looking around.
"I.. don't know, I was searching this way by myself." He pointed at his right. "They'll definitely return, maybe they just saw something that dragged their attention." Kyle looked as if he was telling the truth to me, but Lee was not buying it. "And you didn't hear anything?" He crossed his hands and glanced at me to see whether I believed Kyle or not. "No, I swear guys, I thought they'd be here, just like you." There was a long pause, probably caused by everyone's thoughts on the situation. "So are we going to look for them?" Kyle asked, looking like he felt guilty; and their next move was to stare at me, expecting for an answer. "Of course we are, Alice is only eleven, and Rachel is unexperienced." I said, and both of the guys nodded.
We all went in the cabin to - hopefully - get warmer clothes, since it hadn't stopped snowing yet, and it was freezing outside. We got out and rushed to the first path we saw.
It was the same night, and we had stopped and set the tents we had in an empty parking lot. Lee and I were still leaving our things in them, when we saw a light. It was nothing dangerous, fortunately. Or so we thought. It was just a fire that Kyle lit up, but when Lee and I got slowly closer to him, we saw him pulling a knife out, which was full of blood. Kyle got the shirt he was wearing under his leather jacket, and cleaned it up. We then heard him say something under his breath, but we could not tell what it was. We both walked away, and I whispered to him if he could hear what Kyle was saying. "The real question is not about what he said, but what that knife had on it, and if this blood was a walker's or.. Alice's, or maybe Rachel's." I widened my eyes at him. "And an even better question is if Kyle is the bad guy, or someone else?" He smirked at me and pulled his gun out. "And if Kyle IS the bad guy," Kyle said while walking towards me. "Does he have a sidekick?" He asked.
The last thing I heard was Lee's voice saying "I'm sorry.." and then everything went black.

I know, they always end with both a plot twist and a cliffhanger:(

It's just, my thing, y'know?
