2nd
The moment Brian closed the front door, he realised he'd left his keys and money inside the house. He widened his eyes and looked down. He knew he couldn't get back in the house. It was already too late at night and he had just fought with Angela, the woman he has been committed to for three years now. But he couldn't return to his friend's house ─where he was currently staying, they had had a smaller fight before this one ─ without the keys of both his house and car, neither could he call a taxi, since he forgot the money back inside as well.
He walked away from the porch, and looked at the study's window on the second floor. /Angie rarely goes there/, he thought, /and I could just grab the ladder from the back and enter; but that's just childish, I'm not thinking rationally./ Having lived in that house for two years, he knew both the house and Angela. He knew she wouldn't be happy ─at all ─ to see him there.
After a couple of minutes trying to figure out how to get his things in the freezing cold, he gave up, and went on the back of the house to get the ladder. He put the ladder on the window, and was about to start climbing, when the light turned on! He quickly brought himself as close to the wall as he could, so he wouldn't be noticeable. He could see Angela's short brown hair getting something, yet he couldn't tell what it was. When the light was turned off, and he was sure Angela had left, he started climbing the ladder. Being afraid of heights, Brian glanced at the ground, and saw a small creature ─it was too dark for him to be able to tell what it was ─ looking up at him. He grabbed his phone from his pocket, and lit the ground while still holding the ladder with his other hand. "What's a turtle doing in Brighto-" He suddenly stopped. "All this time... I HAD MY CELL WITH ME?!" He quickly climbed down the stairs and put the ladder back in its exact place. He can just call his friend to pick him up!
He was about to leave, when he heard police sirens getting louder and louder. "Oh no.." He whispered, and started running with all his might. It was the moment when he realised, Angela had entered the room to get the telephone, to call the police. She must've heard the noise and she probably entered the room to see if anyone was there. She must've also seen the ladder.
He had ran a few blocks away, and just stood there, taking everything that had just happened in, when he realised his phone was ringing. It read the name "Angie" on it. Brian immediately picked it up and answered. "Hello?"
"Brian, it's me." He heard Angela's shaken voice. "I think someone got into our house. The police is here, too. Do you think you could.. come over?" Brian agreed, and started walking ─not too fast, so Angela wouldn't understand he was that close ─ and when he finally got there, he saw Angela standing by the front door, while all the police officers were by the window, probably looking for clues. "Brian!" Angela hugged him.
Everything turned out perfect, as if Brian had planned everything out to make up with Angela again; and everything would remain perfect, as long as Angie doesn't find out it was Brian who "broke into" their own house. Or, everything would remain perfect, as long as Brian doesn't find out that Angie knew it was him all along.

How do you imagine Angie to be? I have a very specific image for her and I'd like to hear your opinion.
Also, if you remember what I told you about the percentage, well, this writing got 80% ;)
