Ari stormed into the party with clear anger all over her face and scanned the place in search of the person she was ready to go off at. It didn't take long for her to finally spot the table at the corner that her group of friends seemed to be occupying but her gaze halted on Taehyung right before she started speedily pacing in that direction.

"Kim Taehyung!" She shouted his name once close enough, gaining the attention of everyone that was there and making Taehyung instantly stand up, while she walked over to him and without a split hesitation, slapped him across the face, making the observers flinch in place.

"That must have hurt." You whispered under your breath as you were looking anywhere else but at Taehyung's face at that moment, like most on that table were doing.

"Have you lost your mind?! Why did you hit me?" Taehyung managed to bring his head back in a straight position and face her angered expression that only grew worse once he uttered those questions of his.

"Yes! I have definitely lost my mind. How could I explain otherwise the fact that I hang on to you like an idiot? Even after the way you behaved, I still couldn't let you go, I wanted to give you a second chance and provoke you in order for you to come and tell me that you want me, that you can't let me go. I was stupid for thinking you even cared. You are a worthless jerk!" Ari yelled right at his face with all her might, for she had gotten furious after Dae had called her and had told her that he apparently had decided to get into a relationship with Y/N.

She was so mad and how could she not? The fact that he really chose to let her go even though he knew that she was supposedly getting engaged and even after Dae had told him where to find her. She had been hoping that he would come for her, she had done all this in hopes that he will prove his love for her and maybe then she could overlook once and for all the whole bet thing. But instead of trying to prove his love in any way, he had gone and found himself another girlfriend. 

It hurt her heart it hurt her pride, it made her feel so angry at her own self for ever hoping for him, for ever loving him, for ever trusting that he had loved her even once. It made her so frustrated that she couldn't hold herself from coming and leashing her emotions out on his face.

"I may be worthless but I am not petty! Going around trying to pretend as if you moved on and you are getting engaged just so you could hurt me!" Taehyung replied making Jimin mumble under his breath his thoughts on the words he just spat out of his mouth.

"You doing all this tonight just to get even with her is the definition of pettiness though."

" Who is pretending? I might have hesitated to accept Hoseok's proposal but after tonight, heck you will see! I will definitely marry him! You hear me! We are done!" Ari spat words that she didn't fully mean but at that angered moment, she was serious enough about her words to even beg Hoseok to marry her for real if needed. If that would piss off Taehyung in any way, she was willing to go through with anything at that moment.

She turned around and took her to leave immediately after, making Taehyung gasp for an instant, before he rushed after her and managed to get hold of her arm by the entrance.

"Let go of me!" She shouted at him as she tried to free herself but their push and pull only made Taehyung pull her into a tight embrace in order to prevent her from leaving.

"I said let go of me!" Ari still resisted despite the fact that this time around her voice broke, showcasing her inner turmoil.

"I won't! Stop asking me that! I can't let you go!" Taehyung raised his voice as he was struggling to keep her still and he was growing desperate for her to listen to him.

She froze in his arms after those words sunk into her mind and after a few seconds they exchanged still, Taehyung took a deep breath and slowly pulled away from her. His hands found their way to hers and he took them and held them tenderly as they were finally facing each other, without much anger or fury.

"I am sorry..." He uttered first and she left her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance as she looked away from him. " All these days you have been away from me...all this time that I passed without being able to call you mine...I really thought I could get used to being without you quickly, but I kept missing you and everyone and everything kept reminding me of the fact that I don't have you-"

Taehyung went on to spill the feelings of his heart and she softly raised her gaze to meet his now pleading one.

"I know I was the one that lost you. I know I deserve the fact that you made me feel so miserable by making me think that you found another already. I dwelled and dwelled, trying to tell myself it can not be true. How could you unlove me so quickly, how could you forget me so simply, while I  didn't wash the pillowcase you sleep in just so I could get a glimpse of sleep?" The grievance showed in his eyes as he halted his words and Ari found herself feeling guilty.

But the more she was comprehending and replaying his words in her head, the more a sense of satisfaction and joy took over her that she couldn't hide and thus a smile formed on her lips, which made Taehyung get frustrated.

"You are laughing? I am spilling my heart out and you are laughing?" He raised an eyebrow at her, looking rather offended and Ari burst out laughing, making him let go of her hands and take a step back.

"These are my feelings! They are not funny okay! I suffered! I had to betray my own friend to find out your location and I rushed there, ready to risk it all just to talk to you and try to change your mind only to overhear you talking with that guy about how you were playing me! Do you even know how unfair that felt!" He went off while she had allowed her burst of laughter to die down, listing well to him, but still smiling from ear to ear.

"Oh, so you wanted to take your blood back by doing all this tonight? You aren't really in a new relationship with Y/N?" She crossed her arms over her chest as she questioned what she had pretty much settled on in her mind after his early confession.

"I am obviously not. Jungkook is." 

"Who now is what?!" Ari's shock took over her face instantly as she wondered if she had heard him right.

"Yeah, you have missed episodes. Apparently, I had also, cause only tonight I found out. I almost lost my head trying to get you angered enough to come here." He admitted, as his hand reached to his neck, feeling somehow unsafe while in his head resurfaced that glare Jungkook had given him while he was claiming to be in a relationship with you. 

"How did this happen? When? I think my mind is going blank right now." She held her forehead as she spoke, finding it really difficult for her to process the information as it was almost impossible. You and Jungkook used to bicker like crazy whenever you were to see each other and he used to have eyes only for Seon. You also have an issue with touch which Ari was aware of. No wonder it was difficult for her to digest this bomb information.

"Don't ask me anything. I don't know either. All I know is that it's real though. They returned from the rooftop and announced it. This is their first day officially together." Taehyung went on to fill her in and Ari took her moment before she concluded that no matter everything if this was their wish, then she will wish them happiness with all her heart.

"I guess this party will turn out to have a real reason to celebrate then. That's great. I will stay." She announced as she turned around to get back inside but Taehyung grabbed her hand and turned her back around.

"Wait...what about us." He asked her, with eyes that failed to hide his hopes.

"What about us?" Ari pretended to play dumb and Taehyung just stared back at her for a bit, before he took the courage and pulled her into his embrace. They shared a moment of eye contact before he leaned closer and she brought her hands around his neck, then tilted her head, giving him access for the kiss which he didn't hesitate to bring to reality.

A kiss that was disrupted only by the loud cheers and clapping that came from the rest of you that had gotten up from your seats and had gathered by the door entrance to listen in to their conversation while rooting for their relationship to go well.

"Ah, you all are embarrassing," Taehyung complained as Jimin whistled once and two and the rest started laughing like idiots and clapping even harder.

"Just take him back already. He calls me every night saying that he can't sleep and I can't even change my number you know." Yoongi complained, making Ari giggle while Taehyung just looked towards the floor.

"Yes, do us this favour cause if he tries to claim that Y/N is his girlfriend one more time, you might find nothing left of him," Jungkook added in jokingly but Taehyung took a step back, just in case, making everyone giggle.

"He sure is a troublemaker...what do you say, girls?" Ari purposely pretended to be indecisive and threw the ball at her friends, making Taehyung look towards them with wide eyes.

"He made a mistake but he ultimately didn't go through with anything so can it even count?" Seon left her argumentative point in his favour, making his eyes light up immediately.

"He is all words but he does love you. I am certain." You admitted for as far as you knew him, despite all the things he says because of his pride, ultimately he would still go to lengths for Ari that he had never gone for anyone else.

"I agree. He deserves a second chance." Dae shared her thoughts and Taehyung felt as if he had won a trial at that moment as he turned to face Ari.

"Only this time...you better not screw up again." She warned him and Taehyung swore in his life that he won't before he pecked her cheeks and pulled her into his embrace.

"I guess now we have one more reason to party tonight then. Let's drink!" Jimin raised his hand up, clicking his imaginary glass with your head, before he turned around and picked up Seon in his arms, making her lightly scream in surprise before he went ahead to carry her inside and back to the table.

"To me, it looks like he has already drunk enough," Yoongi commented in between his chuckle as he took Dae's hand and she leaned her head against him for a moment while laughing, before they too followed behind, with Taehyung and Ari going right after.

You were about to tail them but Jungkook's hold held you in place and as you looked back at him, he just pulled you to the side at the corner, away from any possible eyes, before he smiled at you and leaned in to peck your lips. An action that caught you unprepared but you smiled nonetheless.

"Are you tipsy too?" You questioned him and he just proceeded to engage in a more proper kiss, which made you lose your trail of logic for a moment.

" No Y/N, I am just in love," Jungkook uttered while his face was still in close proximity to yours and while you looked into his eyes, you started hearing the rhythm of your heart beating in your ears.

"This still feels strange you know." You admitted and he smiled as he placed a bit more distance.

"We have our whole life ahead to make it feel comfortable."

"What makes you think that we will stay together till we grow old?" You questioned him and he raised one eyebrow before he allowed a smirk to surface and held his chin up.

" No way you will find anyone better than me." He uttered and you scoffed at his arrogance.

"I don't know about that but I sure won't find anyone that can annoy me more than you, little one." You retorted, feeling annoyed by the way he sounded so full of himself. That confident facial expression was just so triggering.

" You sure don't fall short yourself on your abilities to annoy me back. If we ain't a match made in heaven." He joked right before he pecked your forehead and proceeded to get hold of your hand.

"Shall we go party now? Maybe you can give me that dance I asked you back on that night of my bachelor party." Jungkook winked at you as he started walking ahead, with you by his side. 

"I won't dance for you, but this time if you want, I can dance with you." You replied and he looked at you with his sparkling orbs full of love that once again made you feel like that gaze was all you would ever need to go on in life.

For every time you were to get lost, every time you were to fall pray of your self-loath, your doubts and insecurities. All you had to do was look into his eyes to instantly get to know that you can be loved and you are being loved. For his gaze yelled adoration, it screamed care and it whispered soft 'I love yous' in a matter of seconds. All he had to do was look at you like that for you to know that, starting a relationship with him, might end up being many things but it definitely will not be something that you will regret.

You both were different from each other and you had a long way to go to fix your own issues, but he is willing to stay and you are too. When two people want something, they are bound to get a result. And whatever that resolution may be, you sure knew that your feelings of love for him, wouldn't go away that easily.

Your momentary trail of thought was disturbed as Jungkook halted his steps and pulled you in closer, getting you in a position to start a dance with him and you flashed him a smile unaware of the thoughts that were swimming in his head.

Thoughts that had run way ahead as a whole future with you, was playing in his head like a movie to the point that when he made eye contact with you again, he couldn't help but utter.

"You are my one, Y/N"

No matter what may happen and no matter if a day comes that you could leave me too. My truth will always be one. My one will always remain you.

Starting the New Year by completing a book sure feels nice. This book will have one more Special Chapter at some point. Most likely depicting some fun as it characterises the characters.  This book was left on hold for a long time and I am glad I finally managed to finish it after I started translating it. To be honest it was difficult because where I had left it had been where I had disconnected from it and it had been the place I couldn't see any possible resolution to this story. Somehow we reached a closure however despite the fact that I am still not sure if it should have ended like this. If I am to be honest, I originally was debating a lot if Y/N and Jungkook should end together, not because they didn't deserve happiness but because each held too many opposition forces to hold them in their pasts. I guess ultimately making them a helping hand and a driving force for each other to better themselves was better than leaving them single. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this story no matter what turns it took. It was created for entertainment and I once had a lot of fun writing this. It holds dear memories and a place in my heart.
