"Abhi hum kaha jaa rahe hai?" Nandini asked for the nth times but Abhi didn't reply

Her heart was beating fast, Manik wasn't picking her calls nor was anyone from Fab4

Abhi stopped the car infront of their hospital, Nandini's heart was thudding

"He meat with an accident" Mukti said

"He was coming to pick you up" Aliya added

"He is fine na" Nandini asked her holding her hand

"Mere Manik ko kuch nahi hua na" she asked looking around

"I want to see him please" she pleaded

"Please" she joined her hands as all teared up looking at her

"Dr Nandini" she heard De Bose her senior

"How is he?" she asked wiping her tears

"Unconscious" he said "Can't say anything" he informed

"You may" as a cue Nandini was inside Manik's ICU

She took baby steps to him as she saw him sleeping on the hospital bed with wires around

She held his hand which had and IV and leaned her face on it

"Manik please get up" she said as a year slipped from her eyes and fell on his hand

"I don't have anyone but you please" she pleaded

"Main mar jaungi Manik" she said as she felt his grip tighten on her

"Manik" she said as her head shot up and she looked at him to see his eyes open, wiping her tears she looked at all the monitors it was all showing normal

In joy she ran out

"Manik ko hosh aa gaya" she said as Abhi rushed in with her

"Where are my friends?" he asked her

"They are outside it's an ICU na so you will meet them once we shift you" she said with a smile as Manik closed his eyes as if in pain

Abhi checked it and looked at Nandini who was looking worried

It's just a glass pieces has got in they have got it out but the wound is fresh so you can't use this hand for a while" Abhi said as Nandini went to see it but Manik keep looking at Abhi

"I want to meet my friends" Manik said

"Yes wait" Abhi said calling wardboys to shift him

After Manik was settled in the new special room

He was trying to get a glass of water when Nandini saw him and stopped him holding his shoulder

"Manik kya kar rahe ho you could have called me na" she said as Manik looked at her

"Do you work here?" Manik asked her as she looked at him

"Manik are you joking?" Nandini asked

"Well I am not" he said "And it's Mr Malhotra" Manik said strenly

He had never used this tone on her in their three years of realationship and one year of marriage

Never ever he talked her rudely, he was a Monster but not for her

"Out!" he yelled and listening him shout everyone entered

He called a nurse and asked her to call Dr Mehra and Dr Dixit for Manik's check up, they were psychiatrist and neurologist in the hospital

After 15 minutes Manik was sitting in front of the two doctors in the examination room and Fabi, Abhi, Nandini and Navya sat in the adjecent room where they can see Manik

"What year is it Mr Malhotra?" Dr Dixit asked

"2014" he said and the doctors cringed their eyebrows

"Tell us about yourself" Dr Mehra asked

"I have studied Business and Music and I have recently take over my fathers business here" he said

"My parents look over our business in NY" he said further

"And marriage?" Dr Dixit asked making Manik laughed at them

"Me Marriage dude are you kidding" Manik laughed

"And I am just 22" he said further

"Also marriage is something not for me" he said shrugging his shoulders as Nandini's heart broke in peices as Mukti looked over her

This was the Manik they used to see before he meat Nandini at one of their charity perfomance for children who were suffering from cancer and Nandini was on duty there

She pressed Nandini's hand in an assuring manner as Nandini never saw this side of Manik

The Manik she knew was changed one, the one who changed for Nandini, to be worth for her

After more questions and some tests Manik was allowed to go to his room and the other went in Dr Dixit's cabin

"He had her head injury which had lead to retrograde amnesia" Dr Dixit said showing them the ex-rays which Nandini saw carefully and looked at Dr Dixit

"He remembers till he started to work for her father's business" he informed

"So what can we do?" Aliya asked

"You should not pressurise him to remember anything, that can affect him and his health" he said

"Give him some time, we will keep his sessions and medicines" Dr Mehra said assuringly

"Nandini you need to be strong" Dr Mehra said to her as she just nodded she looked clam but her inner turmoil was known to all

Manik sat on his bed keeping his head at rest when he heard a someone enter his room

He looked at the person and cringed his eyesbrows

"What?" he asked the nurse who entered

"Sir your medicine" she said as Manik gave her a look

"I Aren't taking them" he declared

"But Sir" the nurse started

"Out!" he yelled at her when he saw Nandini entered his room and looked at him as he rolled his eyes seeing her

"Ok now you will come and give me lectures" he said irritated

"Ma...Mr Malhotra" Nandini called

"You need to take this it's for your health" she said

"Listen you are just a nurse" Manik said to her "I am not your slave to listen to you, just get the hell out of here right now" he yelled as Abhi reached there

"Nandini please go" Abhi requested

"Bloody Nurse" Manik yelled as Nandini increased her speed to dash in her cabin an locked it to burst in tears gradually sitting her back touching her door
