"Nandini whatever happens always remember I love you" his words rang in her mind continuously giving her strength to gather herself and stand back on her feet

Nandini came out of the cabin her eyes were red she walked to her children's ward

Yes her children's ward she was the head of this department

This kids have her peace, not as much as her Manik but yes they were her source happiness before him

She walked through the ward working non-stop, spending her time with kids, keeping herself busy

After few hours she walked back to her cabin and she was going to past Manik's room when she heard his laughter

So she peeked in Fab5 were there with Navya and Abhi

"Cabir your girlfriend is a Drama Queen dude" Manik laughed as Navya looked at him

"I know you have told me a several times" Cabir said

"I don't remember but yeha I would have definitely" he was laughing

Nandini looked at all of them laughing

The way Manik talked to them it seemed like they have introduced Abhi and Navya to him

She just walked past to her cabin

"Dr Nandini" she heared someone and looked up

"Yes Sister Julie" she said with a smile

"You must go home your sift is over" Sister Julie said concern

"No just put up my night shift I will be here" she said and smiled

"And please close the door when you leave" Nandini said politely as Sister Julie went away

She leaned in her chair as memories flooded her mind, their Happy memories, then the way he yelled at her

She opened her eyes and looked around as knocked her door

"Yes" she said as Cabir entered

"Tu ghar nahi jaa rahi?" he asked

"No I have work Cabir" she said

"There is this girl Abha I am working on her case so I have night shift" she said getting up

She didn't want to talk to him right now, she wasn't ready but Cabir held her hand

"Akele uss ghar mein mera dum ghutega Cabir" she said without turning to him

"Nandini" he wanted to console her but didn't know how to do it, how will you console who's life got filped in a day. The person she loves the most is refusing to even remember her

"Wo" he contiuned and Nandini could see him fumble

"It's ok Cabir" she said smiling at him and he looked at her

"It's not necessary to console people with words always sometimes you just have to be with that person, Wo bhaut hota hai" she smiled whith glaasy eyes

"And I know you people will always be by my side" she patted his hand and left

When she entered the children's ward she saw Manik sitting with the children playing the sight in front of her made her remember something

"Arey re kya kiya" Nandini said to a small girl as she messed all the colors

"Kriti bad manners" Nandini said taking all the colors

"Jao apne friends ke saath kehlo" she said as the Little girl ran to the other kids and she started to clean the mess

It was one of the camping she was working for and the organizers had asked Fab5 to perform for fund raising for the kids with cancer

She packed the color box and walked to the hall

She was wearing a plain baby pink anarkali, her sliver metal bangles made noise as she walked

When she entered the door she saw a tall guy sitting in between the kids playing with them, he was handsome and what she noticed was he was now looking at her, not excatly, he was starring at her

"Nandini" she heard one of the organisers call her

"Coming" she said walking in her direction but she could feel his eyes following her as till she disappeared from his sight which brought a red hue on her cheeks

"Nandu" she heard Shan calling her, Shan was the naughtiest kid among the kids in the children Ward and Nandini's favorite, he was admitted just last week as he had food poisoning

He brought Nandini out of her trance and at the same time Manik looked at her

"Han Shan?" Nandini asked seeing the kid

"Aap ghar nahi jaa rahe?" he asked

"No and aap soye kyu nahi abhi tak Hmm?" she asked as she felt a strong stare on her

"Sister Julie it's already their sleeping time" Nandini said to sister Julie

"I am sorry Ma'am but" Sister Julie looked at Manik

"It's ok just make the kids sleep now" as she went to the kids one by one checking them

Nandini was checking the kids when someone entered the Children Wards and walked to Manik

"Mr Malhotra" he asked as Manik looked at the guy, he was good looking guy but not as good looking at him

"Dr Nishant Malik" he introduced himself to Manik

"I am your doctor" he informed

"Dr Bose appointed me" he smiled making Manik smile

"Can I" he said examining his hand where the glass peice had hurt him

"Dr Mehra said you were in the Childrens' Ward since half an hour when I visited your room" Nishant said

"I like kids" Manik said faking a smile this time

"It's fine just don't stress it for few days" Nishant said checking his hand as he looked at the side to look at Nandini and Manik followed his gaze

"Murty" Nishant called suprised and happy as Nandini turned to see him

"Nish..." Nandini was trying to say as Nishant walked to her saying

"What the heck dude I didn't know you work in this hospital" he said shocked

"Even you working here is a new peice of information for me Malik" Nandini said happy seeing a college friend

"I got a call from Dr Bose to check Mr Malhotra" he said

"So I guess I am meeting you for few days" he said to Nandini as she smiled

"Yeha" she tried to cut the conversation

"Accha chal I will leave, see you tomorrow" Nishant said and hugged Nandini just like he did in college days as a friendly gesture taking her by surprise

"See you too" she said as he left the Childrens' Ward and Nandini turned to look at Manik

His fist was curled in a ball, his eyes were raged

She observed him again he looked so uncomfortable

She was going towards him when he got up and marched out of the Childrens' Ward

Her eyes followed him as he disappeared

She checked the other kids and walked to Dr Bose's cabin

Manik's POV

I entered my room to see Cabir sleeping like a pig I take a pillow and walked to him and cover his face chocking this idiot

I swear I am going to kill him

I see his wiggling for air but I still didn't give up

Let there be headlines in tomorrow's paper

'Manik Malhotra killed his band mate/ Fab5 drummer/ stupid bestfriend with his bear hands'

He finally was able to come out of my hold

Mara nahi sala

"Sale dhura pada hai kya?" he asked him

"Maar dalne ki planning kar raha hai" he said gassping for air

"Fuck all plan hai tera" I yelled holding his collar

"I will kill someone" I yelled more

"How dare is Nish.... whatever Malik hug my Nandini God damn it!" I tell now chocking him by his collar
