The project was over. Everyone did so well that the clients become so happy and so their boss. Neil really appreciate his team for working hard. Everyone appreciated Avni for presenting the designs so beautifully.

" As we completed our Project so well... Today Dinner treat from my side! " Neil said while everyone clapped and became very happy.

"We are feeling blessed to get you as our team head " Ali said dramatically wiping his fake tears while everyone laughed seeing him.

At evening

After their office, everyone went to a restaurant. They sat together in the reserved seat which Neil booked for them. Neil made everyone sat first. He turned and saw Avni and Juhi along with his team mates approaching them. Suddenly, Avni got tripped while Neil about to go but one of her colleague hold her. Neil stopped at the moment seeing them. He felt something in his heart seeing them. He made her to stand her.

"Thank you so much Vidyut... " She said to him

"You okay Avni? " He asked her while she nodded smiling at him.

"Yeahh!! " She said and turned to find Neil looking at them. His face totally changed. Neil looked away when Avni saw him. The trio went near them.

"Excuse me! " Neil excused himself and left from there.

Avni looked at him who moved into washroom. Neil stood there looking at the mirror. He don't know why he is feeling this way. He felt all uncomfortable seeing them. He was totally confused of his feeling. His mind again flashed with that incident.

"Relax Neil!! " He sighed deeply and went to them, plastering a smile on his face.

Avni looked at him coming near them while she sensed something wrong. Though he tried to hide it but he failed in front of her.

He sat opposite to her and gave a smile to Avni seeing her looking at him. Avni asked him what happened through action while Neil nodded his head negatively and blinked his eyes saying that he is fine. Juhi again caught them.

They had an amazing dinner and enjoyed alot. They were chit chatting with each other. While Avni's phone vibrated buzzing with a message. She looked at her phone and found Neil's message.

Hey Avni!.. It's been late .... Shall we go home together?

She read the message and looked up at him and found him looking at her. She gave a smile and again looked down into his phone to reply him.

Yeah Neil

She replied but she felt a kind of hesitation in her face thinking how they leave together infront of everyone.

We will leave later after everyone

She received another message from him as she wondered whether he knows mind reading as he said exactly what she wanted to say.

Okay Neil

She replied and they looked at each other. After talking for some more minutes everyone started to leave. Avni excused as like she was waiting for the cab which is getting delayed.

"Avni.. If you don't find cab... I can drop you!.." Vidyut approached her while Avni's eyes widen. Neil and Avni looked at each other and then at him

"Huh... No!.. Thanks vidyut... I... " Before she could say Neil interrupted.

"Yeahh.. That's what I said her too... And she told me.. She will just try one more time or else... She will join me " Neil said with a plain smile on his face while Avni looked at him.

"Ohh okay!! " He said smiling.

"Yeahh.. " Avni replied.

Avni then went with Neil. She sat on the passenger seat while Neil sat on the driver seat. He started driving and was stealing glimpse of her who was looking outside the window simultaneously. The ride was silent. They reached home while She sat on the couch to remove her sandals. She saw Neil who was moving into his room.

"Huh... Neil! " She stood up while he turned to see her.

"Haa Avni... " He said

"Hmm... Huh... You okay? " She asked after thinking for a second.

"Yeahh Avni... I am good" He return a smile to her saying.

"Okay... You looked disturb when we were in restaurant... That's why I asked" She said while his smiled faded  thinking that she actually caught him.

"Ohhh No..No... " He replied giving a nervous smile don't know what to say

"Good Night Neil "

"Good Night Avni! "

They went to their respective room while Neil sat on the bed.

"Why suddenly I felt like that..... We have moved on from each other.... Why it's felt so nice when she asked me whether I am okay.... The way she caught me today.... " He thought and took his phone to see her pic. He caressed her pic which he took without her knowledge. A smile crept on his face.

After freshening up

Neil came out to see Avni limping and was walking to her room.

"Avni! " He went near her while she stopped and looked at him.

"Avni.. What happened? " He asked her with a tensed face.

"Hehe... I guess today is really a bad day.... I fell down and tripped my leg... " She said showing her teeth like a kid.

"You always been careless on walking haina.... Shaadhi ki time se ab tak..... Aaj evening bhi phisal gay thi na! " He said nodding his head in disbelief remembering how she tripped her leg on the time of their wedding days and today's incident too. And Suddenly they become conscious of themselves remembering the incident of their days where they used to be together. They looked at each other. He made her to sit on the couch while their gaze didn't get off from each other.

"Huh.. Le... Let me...get the ointment" He said stammering and went to his room and came with a box. He sat on his knees.

"Neil... Rehne do... I will do it! "  She said stopping him while he lifted his face to look at her and nodded unwillingly.

He stood up while she opened the ointment and started applying on her leg while she hissed a bit as she applied a little harsh.

"Avni... " He again sat on his knees while she looked at him.

"I'll be little gentle.. " He said taking the ointment from her. He was looking at her eyes while his hand moved to her leg and he placed it on his lap. All the while Avni was feeling something in her stomach when his cold hand touched her leg. His gaze slowly moved down and took a ointment and started applying on her legs gently and massaging a little so that the pain get relieve.

After applying it, Neil lifted his face to look at her while Avni looked away as he caught her staring at him. She pinned her hair behind her ears, trying to act casually.

"It's... It's... Done.. " He said while Avni nodded looking down. Avni tried to got up to leave from here but again sat on the couch as it's still hurts. She was holding Neil's shirt as she fell again. Neil hold her too. They shared an eyelock and their face were in an inch apart. Neil moved his face closer making her breath uneven. Avni looked down due to their close proximity. He moved closer and picked her in bridal style while Avni's one hand was around his neck and other was holding his t- shirt tightly. He moved to her room while their gaze was still stucked to each other. He moved to her bed and bend to place her. Their forehead touched each other and they looked away in unison.

"Have a good sleep Avni! " He said not looking at her.

"Good Night Neil! " She said looking down. He nodded and about to move but stopped and turned towards her while Avni at the same time looked at him. He went towards the bed and gave quilt to her which was at the edge of the bed. He smiled and switched off the lights and left closing the door. Avni smiled widely seeing his gestures. She think of the feeling which she felt when she was so close to him.

"What's happening to me?... I didn't feel like this before..." She thought confused of everything and closed her eyes sighing.
