It's been 2 weeks or more since Neil moved on with Avni. They got comfortable with each other as they become good friends.

Once a day

It was Sunday and they were sleeping for a bit late. Neil got up and saw the time which is 10 in the morning. He quickly got freshen and came out to find no one in living hall. He looked at her room which was closed. He thought to make breakfast for them.

Within few minutes, Avni came and found him in Kitchen.

"Good Morning! " He wished seeing her

"Good Morning... " She wished him back with a surprise look on her face seeing him preparing breakfast.

Till today, Even On Sundays, they had cereals as their breakfast.

"I thought to give you a suprise by my ultra delicious pancakes..." He said in a dramatic way.

"Ohh Wait!!.. I should only say whether it is ultra delicious or not... " She said crossing her hands across her chest

"I only make delicious Pancakes! " He said raising his imaginary collar while Avni rolled her eyes seeing him self Obsessed.

"And you know what I suck at making them... I always burn pancakes.. And that's my speciality... " She said keeping a annoyed face making herself uber cute.

"Haha!!... Thank god I didn't get to taste that! " He said pulling her leg while Avni glare at him.

"Don't worry.. Next Sunday you are going to eat that... I will make sure of that! " She said still glaring at him with a pout while he goes Awee on her.

Soon they settled to have their breakfast.

"Waah... So good!... I didn't know you cook so well... " She complimented him while he smiled munching his breakfast.

"I do know basic cooking ... " He said with a proud smile lingering on his face.

"That's great! " She said while he chuckled.

Later on

Neil was in his room working on his laptop. It's been an hour since he was in his room. He thought to go out to check on her and opened the door. He heard some giggle sound in the porch and found Avni with a baby. She was looking outside the porch playing with the baby girl.

The baby turned and saw Neil while Avni saw her and followed her gaze.

"Seems like we have a new guest! " Neil said moving near them while the baby was continuously looking at him.

"Yeahh.. She is our cute little neighbour.." She said while Neil softly pulled her cheeks.

"Her Mom needs to go for a meeting urgently so she left Dia with me... And we already knew each other...haina Baby " She said talking to the baby and kissed her cheeks while Neil admired her.

"Weewhee" She sounded responding to her while he shifted his gaze at her.

"Hii!! " He said looking at the baby while the baby turned her face to look at him. The baby smiled seeing him and opened her arms asking him to pick her up.

"Awww.. She wants to come to me! " He said picking her in his arms.

"Dia... Give me kissie? " Avni said showing her cheeks while the baby kept her mouth near her cheeks making them smile widely. Avni kissed her cheeks back.

"Mujhe? " He asked while Avni looked at him with her eyes widen. He smiled embrassedly and looked at Dia

"Dia... Mujhe kissie? " He said showing his cheeks while she did the same to Neil.

She started playing with him while Avni looked at the time.

"Achaa Neil.. I will make lunch for her... " She said while he nodded and she left taking her bag which is full of the baby things.

After sometime.

Neil walked to Kitchen with baby and saw her making baby food for her. She took a spoon to taste it.

"Huff!!!... It's completely tasteless! " Avni made a face tasting the baby food while Neil chuckled seeing her.

"Taste it na.. " She said feeding Neil while he had it

"Hmm... I love baby foods though! " He said while she rolled her eyes.

"Dia... Come!! " She called her while she hold Neil's T-shirt tightly not wanting her to leave him.

"Haww!!.... You are not coming to me... " She pouted looking at her while the baby giggles.

"Hahaha!! .. She likes me more...haina Baby" He said looking at the baby lovingly while Avni glared at him

"Come baby let's eat.. " He said picking the bowl from her and left from Kitchen.

He made her to sit on his lap and fed her calmly. Avni just looking at him the way he feeds her. She smiled widely looking at him. This side of him was new to her.

On the process of feeding baby, Neil slightly smudge the baby food around his mouth. While Avni chuckled at him.

"Neil... Yaha! " She said pointing above his lips.

"Kya? " He said rubbing at wrong area.

Avni then moved her hand towards his face while Neil looked at her. She wiped it and her eyes met his while they share an eyelock. They were a bit closer and was drowning into each other eyes.

Baby looked at him and then her and again at Neil and then Avni. They were so busy at each other while the baby started crying as they were not paying attention to her.

"Owhhhowhhh" She started crying while they looked at her and Avni scooped her in her arms.

Later on

The baby was playing with Neil and suddenly she started crying while Neil tried to calm her down but she was still crying. Neil was totally confused of why she is crying.

"Awleee... " He tried walking here snd there but she was still crying.

"Avni.... Avni.... " He called her who was washing dishes in Kitchen while she rushed out to living area.

"Avni...She is crying...Is she hungry again?... " He asked with a clueless expression portraying himself as a typical father.

By seeing Avni she opened her arms asking her to pick her up while Avni picked her from him.

"Awleee... " She hold her close to her chest giving her that motherly feeling while the baby calm down slowly.

"She is sleepy  ... " She said while he nodded. She went to her room and started walking to and fro, making her sleep.

While Neil went to wash the dishes which Avni left behind.

Within sometime, she came back and saw him completed all the work. She turned and saw him coming out of his room.

"Is she slept? " He asked her

"Yeahhh!! " She smiled at him while they both walked towards her room and saw her sleeping cutely.

"She is looking so cute.. " He said looking at her

"Haina... " She replied agreeing with him.

"One second.. " He said and moved to the other side of the bed and took the pillow and kept on her side for her saftey while Avni was looking at him.

They were admiring the baby.

After an hour or more

The door bell rang.

Neil went to check on the door and saw Dia's mom. He then went in and knock Avni's room. Avni opened the door and saw him.

" Hmmm... Dia's mom is here! " He said while she stepped out of her room and saw her and welcomed her.

" She is sleeping... I will just bring her... "Avni said and went to her room. Within few minutes she brings her back and Neil saw the baby who is already woke up.

" Dia... " Her mother called her while she lifted her face seeing her and smiled. She went to her from Avni.

"You missed me baby " Her mother asked while Avni smiled widely. Neil looked at them standing behind Avni.

"Thank You avni.. For taking care of her... " She said smiling

"Areey it's okay.... "Avni replied.

" Dia... Say byee to them... " Her mother said while the baby smiled faded and she looked at Avni continuosly and her eyes welled with tears seeing her. She opened her arms asking Avni to pick her up.

Avni picked her up and started calming her while she holds her dress tightly not wanting to go. Avni smiled widely looking at her who was not leaving her.

"She don't want to leave you it seems " Her mother said while Avni kissed baby's cheek.

"Then... I will drop her later on Vrindha... We itself didn't know how the time flew being with her...." Avni said while vrindha smiled. She nodded and left while Avneil again started playing with baby.

At night

Avni was sitting on the porch working on her laptop. She looked at the time which is 12:30 am. She smiled remembering everything today. How they were enjoying with baby and hie the baby glued to them. After when she slept again, Avneil dropped her home. She heard the sound and turned to see Neil who was having empty bottle in his hand  to fetch some water.

"You didn't slept? " He asked her with a surprised look.

"No Neil... I am just rechecking the designs..." She said while he nodded.

"And you? "

"Correcting the project Avni... " He replied while she smiled.

"Coffee? " He asked her

"No...its okay " She replied while he nodded and went in kitchen

After sometime

He came with two mugs of coffee.

"May be you should take a break... " He said placing the cup in the table in front of her while she smiled widely looking at him. He went from there and came back with a pillow. He asked her to lean on it for some time while she looked at him and smiled at him as the way he is caring for her. He sat beside her and they were looking at the sky.

"I never knew I am matured enough to handle a baby...." Avni said looking at the sky while Neil turned to look at her

"Same here Avni ... But we did it well!" He said chuckling while Avni looked at him.

"Yeahh .... You are right... " She said and sipped the coffee and they started over a random topic.
