"See you later!" Oliwia called out absentmindedly as she left her house.
"Bye, Have fun! Don't murder anyone else" Her mother exclaimed.
"I'll try not to to! But I can't promise anything considering I'm about to meet my annoying friends" Oliwia said, mostly a reminder to herself.
In just under fifteen minutes Oliwia made it outside Mahnoor's house. Obviously Mahnoor was still inside her house, since she clearly couldn't understand the simple instructions of meeting her friend outside her house!
Oliwia got her phone on and called her friend, surprisingly Mahnoor picked up only after three rings:
"Where the hell are you?! Wait. Let me guess you aren't even ready yet?!" Oliwia shouted in annoyance.
"Ehm...hello to you too! Er... of course I'm ready! I am just waiting for you!" Mahnoor lied frantically.
"Don't lie to me! Do you realise I'm outside your house right now?!" Oliwia growled.
At this point Mahnoor had accepted her penance, she knew Oliwia was going to kill her, so she just blurted out: "Me no English! Pasta la Vista!" Then quickly hung up on Oliwia and returned to straightening her hair. If you gotta sneak out you gotta do it in style.
Angrily, Oliwia called Mahnoor again but this time all she heard was: "Welcome to Lycamobile. Your call has been forwarded to an automated voice message system, after the tone please record your message..."
Yep Mahnoor had turned her phone off and sent Oliwia straight to voice mail.
But Oliwia wasn't going to give up so easily, she got some stones and started throwing them onto Mahnoor's window.
After some hits Mahnoor finally opened the window just as Oliwia was throwing another stone which unfortunately ended up hitting Mahnoor on the face.
"Ouch that hurt! Are you trying to ruin my beautiful face?!"
"Your face is already ruined and that stone serves you right for being late!" Oliwia said matter of factly.
Mahnoor knew her friend was pissed off so she tried to get her even more pissed of! She winked at Oliwia and then exclaimed "Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?"
Oliwia frowned, looked at Mahnoor up and down, then took a picture of her posing as Juliet in her window.
"Hey!" Mahnoor pouted "You better delete that!"
Oliwia only smirked in response and put her phone away. Mahnoor rolled her eyes then turned away to walk back into her room. Just a moment later she came back into her balcony holding a bundle of sheets.
"Okay now that I'm in my balcony we are going to try this again" She called out with pure determination "Romeo, Romeo wherefore art..."
"NO ROMEO HERE!" Oliwia interrupted her, she really didn't want to listen to the entire monologue.
"Oh, you are just Oliwia" Mahnoor said disappointed.
"I'm better than Romeo! Would Romeo have brought a potato for you?! Oliwia said gleefully as she took a potato out her pocket.
"Whatever... here catch!" Mahnoor called out as she chucked the bed sheets over the balcony into Oliwia's opened hands. Oliwia clutched the bed sheets with one hand as she used the other to throw her potato at Mahnoor's annoyed face.
"Ow! Stop it! First the glue stick then a potato and then some stones and now another flipping potato!!! My fabulous face can't take all of this abuse in just one day!" Mahnoor broke down, she then turned around with a flick of her not-so-straight hair because someone wouldn't let her straighten her hair!
She went back into her glittery room where she tied the end of the sheets to her bed. "Okay, that should hold!" Mahnoor called out to Oliwia, who was waiting impatiently down below. Mahnoor appeared back out on the balcony and peered over to see Oliwia's annoyed face.
"Wait! Is this really necessary? Can't you just walk out of the door?" Oliwia moaned as she waited underneath the balcony.
"Shut up Oliwia!" Mahnoor growled as she attempted to traverse the front of her house, aided by the makeshift rope of bedsheets. She reaches the ground quickly and then landed with a thud.
Oliwia rolled her eyes and started to walk away. "What was the point of all of that?" She asked in exasperation.
Mahnoor sighed "We have to make it just like those American teen movies, you know, where the teenagers have to escape their house by climbing out of their windows" She explained and then she started to follow Oliwia who was thinking why was she friends with this girl.
The girls continued to walk whilst having their usual weird conversations. In just a few minutes they arrived at Alice's house, where they saw a frightful sight.
Alice's face was visible in her bedroom window and, below her, a billowing mass of golden hair blew in the wind. Mahnoor placed her head in her hands and sighed whilst Oliwia took her phone out and started recording. "Great I just had to deal with a Juliet and now I get to see a Rapunzel as well" Oliwia whispered to Mahnoor
"Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair!" Mahnoor called out sarcastically.
"Of course, my prince" Alice was actually taking this seriously so she threw out her hair - which of course, only fell to the base of the window ledge, hardly reaching the ground.
"Oh it's not that long yet..." the idiotic girl shrugged as she disappeared within the house. Mahnoor and Oliwia looked at each other in amusement whilst they waited in Alice's garden.
After a few second Alice slammed the back door as she got out of her house "Bye mum! Bye dad!"
The other two couldn't believe what Alice had just done. Alice was supposed to sneak out! "You idiot!" They both shouted.
Alice realised her mistake so she said:"Don't worry mum and dad, I'm not sneaking out! I'm just going to go to my room to, ugh... study!"
Mahnoor and Oliwia had officially given up on Alice, there was no hope left for that stupid girl.
"Stop looking at me like that! My parents are not even home" Alice snapped. They just ignored Alice and started walking, whilst she followed them like a lost puppy.
Since Abir lived so far away from their houses, the three girls had agreed to meet near their school, which was in the middle of Abir's house and their destination - the police station.
They reached the school after a couple minutes and stood outside the locked gates, looking around idly for Abir. The night air was cold and the three girls shivered as they huddled by their school.
Mahnoor smiled as she thought of something, "You know how, in those American movies, teenagers are always sneaking out to go to a wild, drug-filled party at some persons house whose parents are away for the weekend, and then they end up being drunk or something like that..." Mahnoor rambled on as the other girls nodded, frowning as they wondered what their friend was going on about.
Mahnoor continued with a disdainful look, "Well, here we are, having just snuck out of our houses in the middle of the night..."
Alice interjected as she looked at her watch, "Uh, more like 7:45pm"
Mahnoor rolled her eyes as sighed in response, "Whatever! Anyways, as I was saying, we have the perfect opportunity! If we were in a typical American teenage movie, we'd be on our way to a party right now! Not going to a police station"
Oliwia shrugged "Eh, this is England! The only parties we have here are 'Tea PARTIES at Alice's house!"
Alice scowled "Hey! That's racist, offensive and culturally inappropriate!"
Oliwia raised her eyebrows nonchalantly, as Mahnoor frowned, "So we can't be racist to you, but you can be racist to Italian and Polish people?"
Then Oliwia stepped in, "And, do you even know what culturally inappropriate means?"
"Of course I do! English is my first language, unlike you guys" Alice replied aggressively.
Mahnoor and Oliwia were about to retort back, when the sound of a familiar voice prevented them from starting World War 3.
"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late!" Abir called out as she walked casually towards the other girls. She frowned as she saw the hostile position the girls were residing in. "What's going on? You guys okay?"
"Oh it's nothing! Oliwia and Mahnoor were just bullying me like always" Alice said forcing a smile on her face.
Oliwia was about to attack Alice when Abir stopped her. Abir rolled her eyes, yawning slightly. "Do I have to constantly be looking after you guys?!"
The girls started to laugh "Whatever! Come on guys! Next stop: The police station!" Mahnoor exclaimed a little too happily as she began to walk away.
The others followed her and they began to skip happily through the not-so empty streets of Manchester. It was only 8pm on a Friday night and the half term holidays had just started so it wasn't that unusual that the whole of Manchester was out in the streets walking. Although all these people did ruin the mysterious, creepy atmosphere the girls so badly wanted. The type of atmosphere where you are walking in the middle of the night in the empty streets and there's dramatic music in the background...
But unfortunately this is real life, and those kinds of things rarely happen.
So The girls just kept talking about Abir's future boyfriend and love life. Well it was mainly just the three of them talking, Abir just stayed quiet, blushing as she listened to the alarming conversations of the other girls.
After several minutes of walking they began to hear loud music and see faint lights in the distance.
Being the music appreciators and musical geniuses that they were, the four girls began sing along with the thumping music and, like fireflies to a lamp, they were drawn closer to the intriguing sounds.
Before they even realised, they were already standing in the litter- strewn lawn of the mysterious and dazzling house.
They were in front of an enormous building, with neon lights flashing everywhere, just like fireworks on New Years Eve, but so much more colourful, and pulsating sounds that overflowed in their ears.
"Shiny!" Mahnoor said in awe with her eyes glistening.
"Yes the light are very shiny but we can't get distracted" Abir said, being the first one to get out of the trance.
"Wait do you guys see that too?! Or am I dreaming?!" Alice asked.
Oliwia walked towards the house "Yeah we see it too, it looks like a..."
"PARTY" They all said at once.
"So should we go to the party?" Oliwia asked hopeful.
"Well, we did have some problems with the police and everyone at school is hating us so... we do deserve to go and have some fun for a while!" Mahnoor said as she joined Oliwia. They both looked back waiting for Alice and Abir.
"Let's go!" Alice exclaimed excitedly, then paused as she thought for a moment.
"Wait...is it really a good idea to go?! There might be creepy old men there..." She spoke up, surprisingly for once being the voice of reason within the group.
"Of course is not a good idea! We can't just go to a party uninvited" Abir shouted, agreeing wholeheartedly with Alice.
"Yeah, true but we were just talking how the only parties we go to are tea parties at Alice's house" Mahnoor said hesitantly.
"Wait a second! Why do we have tea parties at my house?!" Alice questioned.
"Cuz you are English!" The other three shouted.
"Ugh, whatever! I'll never invite you for tea again if you don't stop being mean to me!" Alice threatened.
"We don't like tea anyways!" Oliwia tells Alice the truth. "Yeah we prefer hot chocolate!" Mahnoor backs up Oliwia's point.
Alice pretends to look sad, at which Abir gets worried so she immediately says "If it makes you feel any better I really like the digestive biscuits you give with the tea"
"Ugh can we please stop talking about tea and just go this bloody party!!" Mahnoor says annoyed.
"Yeah there might be drugs there" Oliwia adds on, a little too happily, but hoping this will change Alice's mind.
"Drugs?!" Alice exclaimed "I'm in!"
Mahnoor looks at Alice like a proud mother. "What are we waiting for?! Let's go and get high!" She yells.
"High ON SUGAR" Abir adds on making sure her friends are not talking about actual drugs.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night" Oliwia whispered creepily into Abir's ear.
Tonight they had all sneaked out of their houses to go to the police station so they can prove they are innocent but they ended up at a random party. What a turn of events!
The girls stopped for a second thinking whether they should enter the house or not. Once they walk in through that door they would loose their reputation of being good girls but they couldn't care less. You only live once after all!
Slowly, slowly they were starting to turn into bad girls but, then again, one of them was already a murderer...
"Drugs here we come!"
------------------------------
Hi guys! So sorry about not posting last week, we were really tired and kinda lazy... We will try to be on time next week, which is our last week at school! Woo! What time is it? Summer Time!
Anyway, the song of the chapter is... Well... this is a weird one, but- The Smiler Song from Alton Towers
This is because we had to listen to that song for nearly an hour as we were queuing up! Maybe that's the reason we didn't post the chapter! We were
brainwashed by the Smiler! 😱 Also, because the four girls are probably going insane with all the craziness... And the drugs...
So, we hope you liked the chapter, despite it being a week late... 😳😔 And here's a question: Have any of you guys been to Alton Towers, and, if so, what's your favorite ride? 🤔
See you next week! (Hopefully on time!) Bye for now!
