Blink liked to hang out at Davey Jacobs' apartment.

The way everything is set up, the way the small apartment feels like a big cave, and the way everything complimented each other.

He loved it all, but there was one thing he loved most in the household, and that was Les Jacobs.

It was very rare for Blink to come over, but when he did, he was the life of the party.

Les refused to let Blink do anything else but play with him, he has claimed that Davey, "takes up all of Blink's time and never gets to hang out alone with me!"

So Les takes his full chances to hang out with Blink.

The poor kid will ride Blink around the apartment like a horse, they'll play street craps in secret, and they might even play out a few pranks together for fun.

Blink would always notice something though.

He would look up at random times and suddenly see Davey watching them.

Blink would smile at him before continuing to play with Les.

Davey would sit down on the couch and watch them, waiting for Blink to finally be free from Les' grasps.

The day was set early as the sun was rising ever so slightly, a soft hitched breath left David Jacobs' lips as he knew Louis Ballatt would be coming over soon.

It wasn't that he hated Louis coming over. If anything he loved it, he loved him.

The thing that wasn't the best was what Les always did, which was take up the time with him.

Every time Louis came over, Les would pull the "I never get to play with him" card, and Davey had no choice but to surrender.

Who could say no to Les in general though, it was his little brother. If he said no, Les would gladly inform their parents. Then, all he would hear is most likely nagging.

David was taking in the sunrise before a crash was heard, leaving davey's skin to crawl.

"Les?!" He freaked out slightly as he ran to their room, looking around frantically. When Les was in sight, Davey walked to him "What did you do?"

"Well, sense you asked nicely..." Les rolled his eyes, "I'm cleaning up my space for when Louis comes, thank you very much. You cleaned your half of the room Mr. Goody two shoes, so I'm cleaning mine." The young boy addressed with a playful smirk.

David just stared at him curiously, "You really think Louis is going to care if your half of the room is a mess?"

"Yes, yes I do think that, Louis is a God!" Les said, exaggerating the word 'God' as if he was acting on stage.

"You do realize you're a drama queen right?"

"Yep. I'm very aware of that!" Les grinned happily before placing all of his stuffed animals on his bed.

Throughout the whole day when the long awaited guest arrived, Les was riding Louis like a horse, playing games with him and sharing dumb animal gummies with him.

Davey tried to look amused as he was watching them mostly the whole time, he didn't want it to seem obvious but it sorta was.

A deep exhale crossed the lips of David as he went to walk in the kitchen to start making Dinner.

Every few minutes, Davey poked his head out to look at Louis and Les, they looked happy. It was great to see your little brother and crush getting along, but when was it going to be David's turn?

That thought crossed his mind almost constantly.

Soon enough, Davey couldn't help but imagine it, Louis and him. Them eating ice cream together, and looking at the books in the library.

Les cleared his throat ever so slightly as he was in the doorway of the kitchen, looking at Davey with a slightly raised an eyebrow.

"Princess Fiona, what are you day dreaming about? Your Shrek Charming?" The younger boy smirked once again as he waited for Louis.

Davey jumped slightly and looked over at les, rolling his eyes, "Look, just go with Louis okay? I'm trying to cook sense I have nothing better to do." He replied back to les.

He was trying not to show the blush that was creeping onto his face.

Every day was the same, Louis came and there was nothing going on with Davey, all because he didn't want to intrude on the playtime.

Every day, David continued to think about what the time would be like if it was just him and Louis, personally, a lot would change.

There wouldn't be any piggy backs or anything, maybe, just maybe they would get closer.

They get closer, so close that they get to the point where they would date?

"No, no, no..." He grumbled to himself, "Get that out of your head David, why would anyone actually like you? You're pathetic, hell, Blink only comes here for Les!" He said trying not to tear up.

Each day, more thoughts buzzed through his mind until one day.

Les was going on a class field trip, if he was going on the field trip and David had no school because of exams, could it be possible?

A sudden light bulb went off in his mind.

There was a chance.

He rushed to the phone and went to dial Louis' phone, a smile plastered onto David's face.

When the phone was beginning to ring, Davey was tapping his foot furiously and mumbling, "C'mon pick up, pick up-"

Anxiety started to rush through David's body, what if Louis said no?

What if it was true, and he was just coming for Les? He couldn't blame Louis, Les is an amazing kid.

Davey started to work himself up as Louis didn't pick up after 5 seconds, which seemed like 30 in David's mind.

But then it happened, he answered.

"Hello?" He said into the phone, and it might as well should have been an angel answering a prayer.

"L-Louis!" Davey said excitedly, his voice even cracking for a moment, "I-It's Davey..." He said, freezing for a moment.

He was thinking that he probably should have said his last name until Louis said, "O-Oh hey! This is unexpected, hey, what's up Davey?"

Davey grinned slightly once he said his name, but he took a deep breath, "So um, my brother's gone for the weekend...and since we don't get to hang out... maybe...we could hang out..?" He asked quietly.

For a few moments it was silent.

"Yeah! That would be awesome! What did you have in mind?"
