Crystal's P.O.V

"Which room do we get?" Amethyst asks.

"Uh, the room with bunk beds." Mitch replies.

"Aww. I wanted the big room!" CJ complains.

"Sorry, that's ours." The kids pout and head into there room. Mitch and I head into our room.

"Are we going to go hiking tomorrow then?" Mitch asks.

"Yeah. We'll also explore the area a little too." I say. Mitch nods. I yawn and climb into the bed and slowly drift off into sleep.

====== Time Skip ======

"Mom, there's a steep part. Can we look at it?" Amethyst asks.

"As clumsy as you guys are, no. I don't want you ending up like I did." I explain.

"What happened?" CJ asks.

"Was it that night when you FaceTimed me showing me what happened with your leg?" Mitch asks.

"I was on vacation with Ty, Adam and Sabrina and we were exploring an abandoned hotel. Tristan pushed me off and I fell. I already had a stab wound that wasn't healed completely and it reopened. I fell and tried to use my enderform, but since I didn't have much magic it didn't work out well. So I fell and messed up my knee. That's why it's in pain a lot. And the thing is, I was pregnant with you two." I explain.

"Oh. Yeah, let's stay away from the cliff." Amethyst says and she and CJ back up slowly. I smile.

====== Time Skip ======

"CJ! Quit running!" Mitch yells.

"I'm not going to-Oof!" CJ trips on a rock and falls onto the rocky trail. "Ow." I sigh.

"Your dad told you not to run." I say and help him up. He covers his elbow with his hand and grits his teeth.

"You hurt your elbow, didn't you?" Mitch asks and crosses his arms. CJ nods.

"Let me see." CJ lifts his arm up to where I can see his elbow. His elbow is bleeding slightly.

"You'll be fine. Come on, we're almost home." Mitch sighs.
