Alec woke up that morning having the sun shines on his face through the window shields peeping through the curtain. He hide his face more in Magnus' neck avoiding the glare. Magnus smiled seeing his boyfriend fighting with the sun. He kissed his forehead then while rubbing his back. "Good morning sweetheart." He heard Alec groaned. He knows Alec couldn't sleep the whole night due to the nurses keep disturbing him during the transfusion. "Please Mags Let me sleep more." Magnus smiled and he stirred to his side looking at Alec. He put his hand on Alec's tummy and rubbed it. Alec still hasn't open his eyes but he felt the twins kicking through his stomach. Magnus felt it too. "I think our twins are awake." Then he heard him groaned again. "They wont stop moving the whole night when you weren't beside me." Alec made a sad face to his Alpha but Magnus couldn't help feeling amused by Alec's behavior. Magnus was not there by Alec's side last night because he had to go home and get Alec's stuff. He might be there for a while so he doesn't want Alec to get bored. They were both interrupted with a knock on the door. Alec moved from Magnus' arm and looked behind him, when suddenly Izzy popped her head with her eyes closed. "are you guys dressed?" They both laughed at her gestured and asked her to come in. "Izzy this is a hospital not a motel." Alec rolled his eyeball and Magnus get up from the bed letting Alec lie down on his back. "As if you never seen us naked." Alec looked at Magnus with a death glare. Magnus chuckled and shrugged his shoulder putting his hand both up in the air. "That actually was funny. I couldn't stop laughing till today." Suddenly a voice spoke behind Izzy. It was Simon and of course she brought him too. Alec couldn't help too pout and making Magnus laughed. "Guys stop, your making Alec blushed." Alec looked up and couldn't help to smile. Magnus saw how Alec's face bright up in a second he saw Jace was here too. Jace came to him and gave him a hug. "How are you? Are you feeling any better?" Alec nodded and smiled. They all spend the day in Alec's room laughing and talking. Magnus never felt this happy seeing Alec so much energy and smiled. Not once he saw him cry or tearing up. Jace and Izzy keep arguing on being who's the best uncle or aunty. They were fighting and Magnus saw Alec squirming on the bed holding the side of his stomach. "Alec you're okay?" He came and sat besides him putting his arm on his shoulder. "Yeah, they both won't stop moving. Think they want to be part of the conversations." Magnus smiled and rubbed Alec's tummy. He was right, they both wouldn't stop moving in there. Magnus could feel like fish swimming under Alec's stomach. "Calm down you two, they are not worth fighting for." Magnus glared at both Izzy and Jace and saw how both of them crooked their eyebrows looking at Magnus. Alec couldn't help but laughed and eventually the twins kicked even more. They could feel how Alec is happy. That's when Dr Ranver came in to Alec's room, smiling happily seeing both couples with their friends laughing together. "How are my patient this morning?" They all stopped laughing and looked at Dr Ranver. Alec smiled and Magnus was holding him by his side smiling at her too. "they wont stop moving." Alec said while rubbing his tummy smiling happily. "Well lets see you babies today okay? Maybe we will know the sex." She said while the nurse pushing the ultrasound machine next to Alec. They all gave some space to the couples and sat on the other side. Alec pulled up his shirt exposing his bulging tummy. Magnus can see the line on middle of the tummy crossing through his navel. Then he saw the scar on Alec's tummy when he had the operations. Later the doctor squirted some gel on his stomach making him winced. "Its cold." Alec said. "oops sorry hun. Now lets see them shall we." She moved the probe left to right and Alec was right, the twins are so active that day. "Guys, you wont let me see you isn't it? They keep on moving and its hard for me to focus." It takes her a while but then she gave up. "I guess we wont able to see whether its a girl or boy. We will try again later okay." She smiled at both of them, "It doesn't matter, as long as they are all fine, especially him." He looked at Alec deep in his hazel eyes. Alec couldn't help but blushed. Then Magnus kissed his temple and rested his chin on Alec's head. When the doctor left the room, Magnus asked Jace and Simon to come with him to buy something to eat, leaving Izzy with Alec. He bet Alec wants to talk to Izzy and he could feel Alec need some time alone with her. He was right. The moment he left the room. Izzy sat on his side holding his hand while looking deep in his eyes. She saw how his brother changed so much in these years.

"How's mum?" He asked. That was the only thing that Alec could think of. Whenever he saw Izzy he saw his mother in her. How much they look a like. "She's getting there. She didn't say much these days but I know she missed you so much." Alec couldn't help but tearing, he held back his tears and looked away. Izzy knows Alec missed their mother too. "I was thinking maybe we could have lunch together with mum. How's that?" Alec looked back at her with a smile and nodded. Later she hugged her brother comforting him.

Its been nearly 3 days since Alec being in the hospital and today is the day he got to be discharged. Magnus has packed all of his stuffs and ready to leave the room when suddenly Dr Ranver came for a visit. "I thought I should see you before you leave. Now Alec do you remember what I told you." Alec nodded while rubbing his tummy. "Don't worry doc, wont take my eyes off of him." Alec smiled hearing Magnus words. They both shook her hands and leave the hospital ground. Magnus had Jace drove today and he waited at the lobby in his car. "Why Izzy isn't here?" He was looking at Magnus with disappointed look. "Don't worry sweetheart, they are waiting at the loft." Alec smiled and couldn't wait to get home. 

When they reached the loft Magnus helped Alec get out from the car and Jace grabbed the bag. They both went up to the loft and Alec opened the door finding Izzy waiting for him with her hands behind her. Alec stood before her and crooked his eyebrow. "What are you hiding Izz?" He tried to figured out why his sister being weird by that time Magnus and Jace already entered the apartment and Magnus went to their bedroom to keep the bag. "I've got a surprised for you." Izzy said while her hand still on her back. Alec looked even more confused but then Izzy put her hands on Alec's each arm and turned him behind. What he saw in front of him making him want to fall on his knees. "Mom." A small voice came out from his mouth when he saw Maryse in front of him. She came closer and he saw how her mother has changed so much. She changed her hair, usually she would have it tied on her back to a ponytail but now she let it go making her face much softer and more motherly. She puts her hand on Alec's tummy and rubbed it. "They grow up so fast. How are you my boy? Are you eating alright? You look skinny as hell." Maryse said while holding Alec's cheek and rubbing his tears away. "I miss you, so much." Alec couldn't hold back his tears and he hugged Maryse tight in his arm. Maryse hold him tighter and rubbed Alec's hair back. Magnus came back to the living room and happy to see Alec and Maryse reunited again. he made the arrangement with Izzy to let Maryse come to his loft and he never felt more relieved.

They were enjoying their lunch, Maryse cooked them her best dish and Alec's favorite, chicken parmesan and Magnus felt for the first time in forever he actually has a family. Alec made him feel that way. Alec made him feel that he is part of the family, Alec gave him the family that he always wanted. Then he thought, why not making it official. He and Alec has been together for years and why not asked him to marry him. He couldn't help but stares at him while he was talking to everyone. Until Alec noticed Magnus was not in the conversation. He looked to the side and saw him staring, he raised his eyebrow at him and tilted his head to the side. "okay?" He asked cutely. "Marry me." Magnus words caught Alec by surprised and he didn't answer immediately but his whole family and including Simon was gasping in surprise since Magnus didn't tell anyone he's gonna proposed to Alec. "I thought you will never asked." Alec replied and making everyone gasped even more louder. Magnus didn't say a word, he just leaned his head closer to Alec and kissed him. He caught Alec by surprised and Alec didn't say no. He grabbed Magnus neck and deepened their kiss. They completely forgot how everyone was around them and cooing to their kiss. Magnus let go the kissed and Alec couldn't help to blushed. He hide his face in Magnus neck and smiled. Magnus hold his fiancee tighter. Alec saw how everyone was staring at them and Maryse and Izzy had tears in her eyes. They both got up and sat on the couch next to Alec while Magnus was pulled to a hug by Simon and Jace. They all never felt so happy and hoping more good things would come for Alec. Alec wishes this days never end and he's happy to have Magnus by his side. They enjoyed their day and left after dinner since Alec was yawning few times and Magnus asked them to leave so he could put Alec to bed. They hugged each other before parted and promised to keep in touch. Before Izzy gone, she slipped something in Alec's pocket. He felt a small box and looked at her. "In case you need to made the proposal official." She whispered before she left. She kissed him on the cheek and waved goodbye to both of the couples.

Magnus noticed Alec was clutching on a small grey velvet box in his hand. He knows what that box is and he went to the bedroom leaving Alec on the couch alone. He got confused and looked to the bedroom hoping to see what Magnus was up too. Later he saw Magnus came out from the bedroom and holding something in his hand. He kneeled before him and took Alec's hand with his. "Alexander, all my life I never had this kind of relationship with anyone. You made me feel what I forgot to feel. You gave me family, children on the way and if this is all a dream I don't want to wake up. The whole time you were in the hospital and I was here in the loft, I couldn't help feeling empty and alone. I was home but I felt incomplete because no matter where I go, you are my home Alexander. I couldn't live without you and I'm looking forward on spending the rest of my life with you." He opened a small square royal blue box in front of Alec. Inside is a silver platted ring with imitation meteorite blue inlay. Alec gasped and his tears running flow on his cheek. He held up his box and opened it in front of Magnus, "I guess you have to be the Alpha wont you? You wanted to do it first before I popped the questions." Magnus looked at Alec's hand he was surprised to see the ring box. The ring look exactly alike and the different was the silver band he got Alec, Alec got him the gold one with the same meteorite blue in the middle. "I have this for a while before we got into our fights. I thought we were happy and I want it to be forever before I lost you. When we got separated, I carried it with me and hoping one day I would see you wear it. Till my father found it and gave me a kicked in my stomach to realized I can't live without you either." Magnus looked at him with an angry look remembering what happened after that. "I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He slipped the ring on Magnus finger as well as Magnus. They both smiled and Magnus grabbed Alec's neck and kissed him deeply. Alec interrupts the kiss when he felt the twins kicking him hard making him gasped. Magnus held Alec's stomach and rubbed it. Then he moves his head closed to his stomach and start whispering. "Sweet peas, don't hurt papa. It's time for you both to sleep anyway." Alec loves when Magnus talking to their twins, his voice is soothing and it helps to calm them down. Then Magnus pulled Alec stood up and dragged him to their bedroom. They both fell asleep that night as usual in each other arms and hoping better days are coming.
