AN: This isn't boring you guys is it? It seems like it's getting kind of boring but I promise something interesting is gonna happen soon.

Katherine woke up the next morning in an unfamiliar bed, and with a splitting headache. She stared blankly at the ceiling for a few minutes, with no motivation to move. In those few minutes, she came to the conclusion that she was in Jack's apartment. So, where was Jack? She'd been here before, she knew he only had one bedroom.

"Hey, Jack?" She winced at how loud her own voice was. There was a period of silence, and Katherine was starting to wonder if Jack was even there, when he appeared in the doorway, with his hair messier than usual. It was obvious he'd just woken up himself.

"Hey. You enjoying your first hangover so far?" She groaned in response. "Yeah, that sounds about right."

"Is my head supposed to hurt this badly?"

"You only had three drinks." Jack laughed. "Most hangovers are way worse." She glared at him and he shrugged. "Sorry, just keeping you informed. You want some coffee?"

"That shouldn't even be a question, yes I want coffee." He laughed again and left, presumably to make the aforementioned coffee.

"So, about the – "

"No." Katherine groaned. Jack was now sitting next to her on the bed while she drank the coffee he'd prepared for her.

"Katherine..."

"No, Jack. There's nothing to talk about."

"I really think we should – " She cut him off again and he rolled his eyes.

"No, we shouldn't. People do stupid things when they're drunk all the time, me kissing you was just another stupid drunk thing that won't happen again."

"What if I didn't think it was stupid?" He muttered. She immediately stared at him.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"That's not – " This time it was Jack who cut her off.

"It's nothing, I didn't say anything. Let me know when you're finished drinking that and I'll take you home." He stood up and stiffly walked out of the room, and she groaned and leaned back against the pillows. She was so confused.
