Magicstar was waken up by thikletail, " Could you stop your whining? Your going to scare all the prey from here to four stumps! " He complained, " But anyway, poolkit, doekit, and dewkit are ready to be apprenticed. " Magicstar nodded and got up, shaking the moss from her pelt, she left her den and leaped onto skyrock, she looked at the clearing, " Let all cats old enough to fly the sky gather under skyrock for a clan meeting! " She yowled, cats poured out into the clearing, and thikletail sat beside her, " Poolkit, doekit, and dewkit are ready to be apprenticed, " she watched as the kits scrambled forward, " Poolkit, from this moment on, until you become a warrior, you will be known as poolpaw, your mentor will be lightwing, " She watched at the she-cats touched noses, and she continued, " Doekit, until you become a warrior, you will be known as doepaw, your mentor will be heavyclaw, " she paused, and waited for them to touch noses " And dewkit, from this moment on, untill you become a warrior, you will be known as dewpaw, your mentor will be robinflight. " She watched them touch noses and then she leaped down from skyrock, joining the crowd as they swarmed around the apprentices, calling them by their new names, she padded into her den after touching all their noses and layed down, sighing, and sat back up relizing she hadn't had any food today, she got up and padded back out, there were few still congratulating the apprentices, some were getting their share of the prey, and the rest were getting ready for a patrol. She grabbed a fat robin and went back to her den.
