During the mission Kai Smith had managed to fall into a trap door and get caught. The male grumbled as he looked around the vengestone cage he was trapped inside. It reminded him of Chen's Island and he hated that place with a burning passion. The male heard sounds and was quick to react.

"Show yourself!" Kai shouted out of anger.

The person showed themself alright, needle in hand and all. They walked over to the small cell Kai was locked inside and injected him. The master of fire cried out in surprise and panic as he backed into the wall. He eyed the needle wearily as he began to feel dizzy.

Pain soon filled Kai's body causing him to cry out suddenly, he could feel scales growing on his skin. He began to claw at the scales out of fear and panic. He wanted the pain to go away but more ended up coming to him. He could feel his legs turning into a tail and it caused him to let out a blood curdling scream, as the tail grew larger the master of fire continued to cry out in pain.

The trouble at the temple had been a set up to weaken the ninja, the weakened male now knew that as he slid down the wall. Kai struggled to keep his eyes opened as he watched the needle holding man disappear. The master of fire heard other sounds as he started to drift off to sleep. He tried to call out, but it was soft and difficult to hear.

A cat entered the area Kai was locked inside, it meowed and went over to the now Anacondrai male. Climbing onto the master of fire's chest the cat meowed softly. His head hit against the sleeping male's head gently, he then looked over towards the door upon hearing people.

Cole was the first to enter he used his element to force the cage open "How the fucking hell?" He quietly asked himself as he picked up Kai making sure the cat had stayed "It doesn't matter at the moment your asleep. And as for you mister just because you decided to touch a damn cat eye gem doesn't give you the right to jump out of Nya's arms."

Nya entered upon hearing her name she hadn't noticed Kai change in form yet "Let's get them back to the Monastery," She told Cole "Sensei mentioned having some information on the cat eye gem."
