I climbed out of my nest glancing around the nursery noticing once again i was the last cat to wake up. I sighed and left the den looking for Calmkit and Bigkit. I found them outside playing Moss-ball. Calmkit noticed me and said " oh Lightningkit sorry we thought you'd want to sleep we know how much you like sleeping." I nodded and smiled " hey where did the others go?" I glanced around checking there wasn't any fire. Bigkit said " Spritekit, Goldenkit, Featherkit and Tinykit went to the slippery stones."  I shook my head " but the slippery stones lead to out of camp!" Calmkit shrugged " Fallenkit refused to go with them he's the only one with a brain if you ask me." I glanced around looking for the white tom. I noticed him looking at the apprentice den eagerly. I ran over to him " why don't you play Moss-ball with Calmkit, Bigkit and I?"  he looked surprised but nodded and he trudged after me. Bigkit heard the tom approaching and smiled. At that moment Calmkit threw the Moss-ball and it hit his head.  I scolded Calmkit " Calmkit your such a terrible thrower!" Calmkit looked embarrassed and gladly let Fallenkit have the Moss-ball. I kept on bumping into Bigkit and he kept on nudging me back on purpose. Eventually we gave up playing Moss-ball and i Noticed a big tree near the edge of camp. " Oh look we could see the whole camp from there!" I pointed with my nose and Calmkit chimed in " Oh yeah we could!" We ran over to the tree Bigkit lagging a little bit. I Dug my claws in and began to climb. I reached the top and the wind immediately rang in my ears. I looked down and spotted some grass weeds. " Hey guys come and check this out ." I heard Fallenkit and Calmkit scrabble up the tree and Bigkit calling " Tell me what is it!" I pointed out the reeds to Fallenkit and Calmkit. Calmkit said " looks like there is a clearing after those and it's in camp!" We slid down the tree eager to tell Bigkit. " we saw like a secret area come on let's go!" we raced over to the reeds I pulled them apart and it as amazing! There as a little stream with small gold fish running through it and there as grass patches to make nests on. Calmkit sqeauled " It's the perfect place for a hideout!" Bigkit giggled " and those fluff brains don't know anything!"
