The trio of friends stood on a large field, this time joined by their smaller animal companion Lightning.

Dan was standing a distance away from the other three, Charizard out of its ball, flapping its wings and hovering in the air. "Whenever you're ready! Come at me!" Dan declared, "Let's do this Charizard."

Wynton and Lia nodded across at him, holding up their red and white balls too, "Let's go!" Lia yelled, tossing her ball up in the air, out of it appeared a white horse-like Pokemon with a horn and a lilac and teal mane - Ponyta.

"Let's battle!" Wynton cried, also throwing his ball. Out of it appeared a huge orange and yellow mouse-like creature, floating in the air on its tail - Raichu.

Lightning barked, picking up his ball in his mouth and spitting it out as in a cloud of sparkles a small yellow bug pokemon with four blue eyes came out of it - Joltik.

The four Pokemon all charged towards each other and the four members of the Awesome Ones jumped out of the way to avoid being hit by any of them.

Dan's attempt at jumping backwards while delivering an inner monologue about how weird things had gotten failed and he fell onto his back.

"Ouch.!" He complained, trying to roll over onto his side so he could sit back up.

"Stop! Hold that pose. It's your best side." Lia grinned like a cheshire cat while crouching down beside him, filming his dumb mistake.

"Uh Wynton!" She called out, trying to get the attention of the other boy, Wynton scrambled up from the ground and stood in front of their Pokemon as they ceased fighting, "OK, everyone together." Lia instructed, setting the camera drone on a timer to take a picture.

Both her and Dan ran into the shot just in time to cheer "Pokemon rule!"

Once the photo was taken everyone resumed their positions on the battlefield, "Alright, it's back to the action!" Dan called out, "Charizard, flamethrower!" He commanded.

On command the Pokemon let out a burst of fire from its mouth aimed towards Lia's Ponyta and Wynton's Raichu.

"Hey!" Lia called out annoyed.

"What was that?"

Dan shrugged, "Don't ask me. It just sort of happened." He replied sheepishly.

Deciding to try it for himself too, Wynton called out for Raichu to do the same, "Raichu use flamethrower!" The flying orange rodent opened its mouth to try but to no success.

"Huh? Weird.. I guess only certain Pokemon can use certain moves..." He murmured.

Lia angled her camera drone down on the scene, "We gotta tell everyone about this."

A few days later the three had finished recording a video and Dan had decided to get himself a burger in town, he was just finishing it off when someone walked up to him.

"Dan Kouzo. I want to challenge you to a battle."
