The dawn patrol is here! She thought

Her shoulder burned. She was flung off the badgers paw. The warrior standing in front of her was Twilightwing. Blossompaw was there.

" Blossompaw take this kit back to Emberheart!" Twilightwing ordered

Her vision was blurry and the only thing she remembered was Blossompaw ' s face.

Moons passed since that incident her shoulder still hurt but barley she could just ignore it.

" Hey leafkit! Pass it here!" Rosekit yowled.

They were going to be apprenticed today. She couldn't wait. She flicked the moss ball to rosekit. Fawnkit was in the middle.

" Hey! Stop teasing me!" Fawnkit growled

Rosekit passed it to Seedkit. But Seedkit missed in catching it. Now she was in the middle.

" Nice try seedkit!" She called

Her sister grumbled and switched places with fawnkit.

Starpaw was padding by with moss under her chin.

" Hey starpaw! What are you doing?" She meowed.

" I'm taking this to the elders den." Starpaw purred.

" Jaykit! Catch it!" Rosekit yowled

" Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beanth the highledge!" Ravenstar yowled.

"Kits! Come here!" Havenstorm called them over

They've abandoned their game of moss ball and her sisters ran over to their mother. Who was cleaning them.

"I have gathered you all here for an apprentice ceremony Leafkit,rosekit, seedkit, and sootkit have all become of age for becoming apprentices." Ravenstar began.

" Leafkit, step forward. From this day on you shall be known as leafpaw. lionblaze you will be her mentor. You've been taught by ashfur and he's taught you a lot even though you've had trouble times with him. I have noticed that you have strength and courage in to teaching this young apprentice. Please pass on whatever you have learned on to her." Ravenstar meowed dipping her head to the senior warrior.

Lionblaze was her mentor! Thunderclan ' s greatest warrior of all time! She puffed out her chest and met lionblaze and touched muzzles with him.

" I'll do my best!" She promised.

" And I will to make you into a great warrior." Lionblaze purred.

The ceremony went on rosekit was rosepaw her mentor was heartsong. Then Seedkit was named Seedpaw her mentor was Goldentail sootkit was named Sootpaw and her mentor
Was Cloverfur.

" Lionblaze are we going to be seeing the territory today?" She asked circling her mentor.

" Yes we are." Lionblaze purred.

"YES WE'RE GOING TO SEE THE TERRITORY ROSEPAW!" She yowled excitedly jumping up and down.

" Lionblaze please control your apprentice." Jayfeather rolled his eyes at his brother.

" Sorry jayfeather. Come on leafpaw let's go." Lionblaze meowed.

She nodded and ran after her mentor. Lionblaze showed her the territory for the whole day.

" you see that island over there?" Lionblaze meowed as they reached a floating tree in the lake.

" Yeah what Is that place?" She asked.

" Every full moon the clans come together and they share news. On that island. But we cannot fight their is a truce. Starclan made sure of that." Lionblaze meowed.

" can we see it?" She asked.

" No not yet. A gathering is coming up you can see it then. I promise." Lionblaze purred.

" Aww but I wanted to see it!" She meowed disappointed.

"You will don't worry." Lionblaze meowed.

" Hey lionblaze. Was it true that riverclan once stayed on this island?" She asked.

" Yup that was when leopardstar was still leader. Then my naive sister decided to sneek over there.. " Lionblaze paused for a moment she noticed the sadness in his eyes.

She felt a raindrop on her nose. She sneezed.

"Let's head back to camp." Lionblaze meowed

Once they arrived back at camp it started pouring. Once she ran into the den she heard Sootpaw sneeze.

" What's wrong Sootpaw?" She asked worriedly

" I think I'm getting a fever." Sootpaw sneezed again.

Burningpaw came to Sootpaw ' s side.

" Someone go get Emberheart." Burningpaw mewed.

" I'll get him." Rosepaw meowed.

leafpaw nodded and watched her sister go in the pouring rain.
