Moons passed the nursery was getting a bit crowded. She hated it. She felt a paw kick her in the stomach as she was sleeping she pawed fawnkits paw back and she got up stretching.

The morning sun has risen which meant it was dawn... she heard the dawn patrol.

" Hello young kit." A warrior meowed behind her. She jumped in surprise when she was outside.

" Hi " She meowed

" I'm assuming you don't know who I am. I am Heartsong I just became warrior." The warrior purred..

" Nice to meet you Heartsong." She mewed

The warrior nodded and joined the patrol. She noticed that the cat who was ordering the patrol was probably the deputy.

" Hey! What are you doing out here so early leafkit?" The deputy meowed.

" I couldn't sleep so and plus fawnkit kicked me in the stomach." She meowed narrowing her eyes.

" How would you like to go out in the forest?" The deputy asked.

" Really?! But I thought kits can't go outside!" She meowed excitedly.

" Well unless your with me or with your mother." Pollenfoot purred.

" Let's go!" She meowed

Pollenfoot nodded and they headed outside of camp. The wind blew in her gray fur she held her head up and took it in. She purred and ran ahead pollenfoot next to her.

" I'LL RACE YOU!" She yowled over the wind.

" YOU'LL REGRET IT!" pollenfoot yowled and he ran ahead. She ended up being behind his tail. Suddenly pollenfoot stopped in his tracks she stumbled into him.

" What's wrong pollenfoot?" She asked breathlessly panting.

" Mouse-brain! I shouldn't of let you out here!" Pollenfoot cursed.

She sniffed the air. A stinky smell she never smelt before. And it was fresh. Suddenly a HUGE creature with black fur and white stripes on its back appeared.

" Should I go back to camp?" She whispered.

" No if you make any sudden movement they will attack." Pollenfoot growled. He unseathed his claws.

" What is it?" She asked.

" It's a badger. Have heard the story about the badger attack that happend when thunderclan first moved here? They are our most feared they can kill you right away." Pollenfoot growled.

Suddenly the Badger noticed them. It came towards them.

" POLLENFOOT! WHAT DO WE DO?!" She yowled.

" GO GET RAVENSTAR!" Pollenfoot yowled attacking the badger. Who's massive paws was coming towards her Pollenfoot trying to distract the badger. She froze in place. Scared.

Why can't I move?! I gotta go warn the clan!!! Her thoughts all over the place. .

" LEAFKIT GO! NOW!" Pollenfoot cried out as the badger swiped his shoulder.

"NO! I WON'T LEAVE YOU HERE!" SHE yowled she finally snapped out of it and gathered up courage and attacked the badgers paw she didn't know any moves the Badgers massive paw clawed her shoulder and cried out.

Suddenly a flash of fur appeared in front of her.
